DEUTERONOMY 8 14 Then thine heart be lifted up, and thou forget the LORD thy God, which brought thee FORTH out of the land of Egypt, from the house of bondage; 15 Who led thee through that great and terrible wilderness, wherein were fiery serpents, and scorpions, and drought, where there was no water; who brought thee FORTH water out of the rock of flint; DEUTERONOMY 9 3 Understand therefore this day, that the LORD thy God is he which goeth over before thee; as a consuming FIRE he shall destroy them, and he shall bring them down before thy face: so shalt thou drive them out, and destroy them quickly, as the LORD hath said unto thee. 10 And the LORD delivered unto me two tables of stone written with the finger of God; and on them was written according to all the words, which the LORD spake with you in the mount out of the midst of the FIRE in the day of the assembly. 12 And the LORD said unto me, Arise, get thee down quickly from hence; for thy people which thou hast brought FORTH out of Egypt have corrupted themselves; they are quickly turned aside out of the way which I commanded them; they have made them a molten image. 15 So I turned and came down from the mount, and the mount burned with FIRE: and the two tables of the covenant were in my two hands. 21 And I took your sin, the calf which ye had made, and burnt it with FIRE, and stamped it, and ground it very small, even until it was as small as dust: and I cast the dust thereof into the brook that descended out of the mount. 26 I prayed therefore unto the LORD, and said, O Lord GOD, destroy not thy people and thine inheritance, which thou hast redeemed through thy greatness, which thou hast brought FORTH out of Egypt with a mighty hand. DEUTERONOMY 10 4 And he wrote on the tables, according to the first writing, the ten commandments, which the LORD spake unto you in the mount out of the midst of the FIRE in the day of the assembly: and the LORD gave them unto me. DEUTERONOMY 12 3 And ye shall overthrow their altars, and break their pillars, and burn their groves with FIRE; and ye shall hew down the graven images of their gods, and destroy the names of them out of that place. 31 Thou shalt not do so unto the LORD thy God: for every abomination to the LORD, which he hateth, have they done unto their gods; for even their sons and their daughters they have burnt in the FIRE to their gods. DEUTERONOMY 13 16 And thou shalt gather all the spoil of it into the midst of the street thereof, and shalt burn with FIRE the city, and all the spoil thereof every whit, for the LORD thy God: and it shall be an heap for ever; it shall not be built again. DEUTERONOMY 14 22 Thou shalt truly tithe all the increase of thy seed, that the field bringeth FORTH year by year. 28 At the end of three years thou shalt bring FORTH all the tithe of thine increase the same year, and shalt lay it up within thy gates: DEUTERONOMY 16 1 Observe the month of Abib, and keep the passover unto the LORD thy God: for in the month of Abib the LORD thy God brought thee FORTH out of Egypt by night. 3 Thou shalt eat no leavened bread with it; seven days shalt thou eat unleavened bread therewith, even the bread of affliction; for thou camest FORTH out of the land of Egypt in haste: that thou mayest remember the day when thou camest FORTH out of the land of Egypt all the days of thy life. 6 But at the place which the LORD thy God shall choose to place his name in, there thou shalt sacrifice the passover at even, at the going down of the sun, at the season that thou camest FORTH out of Egypt. DEUTERONOMY 17 5 Then shalt thou bring FORTH that man or that woman, which have committed that wicked thing, unto thy gates, even that man or that woman, and shalt stone them with stones, till they die. DEUTERONOMY 18 1 The priests the Levites, and all the tribe of Levi, shall have no part nor inheritance with Israel: they shall eat the offerings of the LORD made by FIRE, and his inheritance. 10 There shall not be found among you any one that maketh his son or his daughter to pass through the FIRE, or that useth divination, or an observer of times, or an enchanter, or a witch. 16 According to all that thou desiredst of the LORD thy God in Horeb in the day of the assembly, saying, Let me not hear again the voice of the LORD my God, neither let me see this great FIRE any more, that I die not. DEUTERONOMY 21 2 Then thy elders and thy judges shall come FORTH, and they shall measure unto the cities which are round about him that is slain: 10 When thou goest FORTH to war against thine enemies, and the LORD thy God hath delivered them into thine hands, and thou hast taken them captive, DEUTERONOMY 22 15 Then shall the father of the damsel, and her mother, take and bring FORTH the tokens of the damsel's virginity unto the elders of the city in the gate: DEUTERONOMY 23 4 Because they met you not with bread and with water in the way, when ye came FORTH out of Egypt; and because they hired against thee Balaam the son of Beor of Pethor of Mesopotamia, to curse thee. 9 When the host goeth FORTH against thine enemies, then keep thee from every wicked thing. 12 Thou shalt have a place also without the camp, whither thou shalt go FORTH abroad: DEUTERONOMY 24 9 Remember what the LORD thy God did unto Miriam by the way, after that ye were come FORTH out of Egypt. DEUTERONOMY 33 2 And he said, The LORD came from Sinai, and rose up from Seir unto them; he shined FORTH from mount Paran, and he came with ten thousands of saints: from his right hand went a fiery law for them. 14 And for the precious fruits brought FORTH by the sun, and for the precious things put FORTH by the moon, JOSHUA 2 3 And the king of Jericho sent unto Rahab, saying, Bring FORTH the men that are come to thee, which are entered into thine house: for they be come to search out all the country. JOSHUA 5 5 Now all the people that came out were circumcised: but all the people that were born in the wilderness by the way as they came FORTH out of Egypt, them they had not circumcised. JOSHUA 6 24 And they burnt the city with FIRE, and all that was therein: only the silver, and the gold, and the vessels of brass and of iron, they put into the treasury of the house of the LORD. JOSHUA 7 15 And it shall be, that he that is taken with the accursed thing shall be burnt with FIRE, he and all that he hath: because he hath transgressed the covenant of the LORD, and because he hath wrought folly in Israel. 25 And Joshua said, Why hast thou troubled us? the LORD shall trouble thee this day. And all Israel stoned him with stones, and burned them with FIRE, after they had stoned them with stones. JOSHUA 8 8 And it shall be, when ye have taken the city, that ye shall set the city on FIRE: according to the commandment of the LORD shall ye do. See, I have commanded you. 9 Joshua therefore sent them FORTH: and they went to lie in ambush, and abode between Bethel and Ai, on the west side of Ai: but Joshua lodged that night among the people. 12 And he took about FIVE thousand men, and set them to lie in ambush between Bethel and Ai, on the west side of the city. 19 And the ambush arose quickly out of their place, and they ran as soon as he had stretched out his hand: and they entered into the city, and took it, and hasted and set the city on FIRE. JOSHUA 9 12 This our bread we took hot for our provision out of our houses on the day we came FORTH to go unto you; but now, behold, it is dry, and it is mouldy: JOSHUA 10 5 Therefore the FIVE kings of the Amorites, the king of Jerusalem, the king of Hebron, the king of Jarmuth, the king of Lachish, the king of Eglon, gathered themselves together, and went up, they and all their hosts, and encamped before Gibeon, and made war against it. 16 But these FIVE kings fled, and hid themselves in a cave at Makkedah. 17 And it was told Joshua, saying, The FIVE kings are found hid in a cave at Makkedah. 22 Then said Joshua, Open the mouth of the cave, and bring out those FIVE kings unto me out of the cave. 23 And they did so, and brought FORTH those FIVE kings unto him out of the cave, the king of Jerusalem, the king of Hebron, the king of Jarmuth, the king of Lachish, and the king of Eglon. 26 And afterward Joshua smote them, and slew them, and hanged them on FIVE trees: and they were hanging upon the trees until the evening. --MORE-- |
