PROVERBS 27 1 Boast not thyself of to morrow; for thou knowest not what a day may bring FORTH. 3 A stone is heavy, and the sand weighty; but a FOOL's wrath is heavier than them both. 22 Though thou shouldest bray a FOOL in a mortar among wheat with a pestle, yet will not his foolishness depart from him. PROVERBS 28 26 He that trusteth in his own heart is a FOOL: but whoso walketh wisely, he shall be delivered. PROVERBS 29 11 A FOOL uttereth all his mind: but a wise man keepeth it in till afterwards. 20 Seest thou a man that is hasty in his words? there is more hope of a FOOL than of him. PROVERBS 30 16 The grave; and the barren womb; the earth that is not filled with water; and the FIRE that saith not, It is enough. 22 For a servant when he reigneth; and a FOOL when he is filled with meat; 27 The locusts have no king, yet go they FORTH all of them by bands; 33 Surely the churning of milk bringeth FORTH butter, and the wringing of the nose bringeth FORTH blood: so the forcing of wrath bringeth FORTH strife. PROVERBS 31 20 She stretcheth out her hand to the poor; yea, she reacheth FORTH her hands to the needy. ECCLESIASTES 2 6 I made me pools of water, to water therewith the wood that bringeth FORTH trees: 14 The wise man's eyes are in his head; but the FOOL walketh in darkness: and I myself perceived also that one event happeneth to them all. 15 Then said I in my heart, As it happeneth to the FOOL, so it happeneth even to me; and why was I then more wise? Then I said in my heart, that this also is vanity. 16 For there is no remembrance of the wise more than of the FOOL for ever; seeing that which now is in the days to come shall all be forgotten. And how dieth the wise man? as the FOOL. 19 And who knoweth whether he shall be a wise man or a FOOL? yet shall he have rule over all my labour wherein I have laboured, and wherein I have shewed myself wise under the sun. This is also vanity. ECCLESIASTES 4 5 The FOOL foldeth his hands together, and eateth his own flesh. ECCLESIASTES 5 3 For a dream cometh through the multitude of business; and a FOOL's voice is known by multitude of words. 15 As he came FORTH of his mother's womb, naked shall he return to go as he came, and shall take nothing of his labour, which he may carry away in his hand. ECCLESIASTES 6 8 For what hath the wise more than the FOOL? what hath the poor, that knoweth to walk before the living? ECCLESIASTES 7 6 For as the crackling of thorns under a pot, so is the laughter of the FOOL: this also is vanity. 18 It is good that thou shouldest take hold of this; yea, also from this withdraw not thine hand: for he that feareth God shall come FORTH of them all. ECCLESIASTES 10 1 Dead flies cause the ointment of the apothecary to send FORTH a stinking savour: so doth a little folly him that is in reputation for wisdom and honour. 2 A wise man's heart is at his right hand; but a FOOL's heart at his left. 3 Yea also, when he that is a FOOL walketh by the way, his wisdom faileth him, and he saith to every one that he is a FOOL. 12 The words of a wise man's mouth are gracious; but the lips of a FOOL will swallow up himself. 14 A FOOL also is full of words: a man cannot tell what shall be; and what shall be after him, who can tell him? SONG OF SOLOMON 1 3 Because of the savour of thy good ointments thy name is as ointment poured FORTH, therefore do the virgins love thee. 8 If thou know not, O thou fairest among women, go thy way FORTH by the footsteps of the flock, and feed thy kids beside the shepherds' tents. 12 While the king sitteth at his table, my spikenard sendeth FORTH the smell thereof. SONG OF SOLOMON 2 9 My beloved is like a roe or a young hart: behold, he standeth behind our wall, he looketh FORTH at the windows, shewing himself through the lattice. 13 The fig tree putteth FORTH her green figs, and the vines with the tender grape give a good smell. Arise, my love, my fair one, and come away. SONG OF SOLOMON 3 11 Go FORTH, O ye daughters of Zion, and behold king Solomon with the crown wherewith his mother crowned him in the day of his espousals, and in the day of the gladness of his heart. SONG OF SOLOMON 6 10 Who is she that looketh FORTH as the morning, fair as the moon, clear as the sun, and terrible as an army with banners? SONG OF SOLOMON 7 11 Come, my beloved, let us go FORTH into the field; let us lodge in the villages. 12 Let us get up early to the vineyards; let us see if the vine flourish, whether the tender grape appear, and the pomegranates bud FORTH: there will I give thee my loves. SONG OF SOLOMON 8 5 Who is this that cometh up from the wilderness, leaning upon her beloved? I raised thee up under the apple tree: there thy mother brought thee FORTH: there she brought thee FORTH that bare thee. 6 Set me as a seal upon thine heart, as a seal upon thine arm: for love is strong as death; jealousy is cruel as the grave: the coals thereof are coals of FIRE, which hath a most vehement flame. ISAIAH 1 7 Your country is desolate, your cities are burned with FIRE: your land, strangers devour it in your presence, and it is desolate, as overthrown by strangers. 15 And when ye spread FORTH your hands, I will hide mine eyes from you: yea, when ye make many prayers, I will not hear: your hands are full of blood. ISAIAH 2 3 And many people shall go and say, Come ye, and let us go up to the mountain of the LORD, to the house of the God of Jacob; and he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths: for out of Zion shall go FORTH the law, and the word of the LORD from Jerusalem. ISAIAH 3 16 Moreover the LORD saith, Because the daughters of Zion are haughty, and walk with stretched FORTH necks and wanton eyes, walking and mincing as they go, and making a tinkling with their feet: ISAIAH 4 5 And the LORD will create upon every dwelling place of mount Zion, and upon her assemblies, a cloud and smoke by day, and the shining of a flaming FIRE by night: for upon all the glory shall be a defence. ISAIAH 5 2 And he fenced it, and gathered out the stones thereof, and planted it with the choicest vine, and built a tower in the midst of it, and also made a winepress therein: and he looked that it should bring FORTH grapes, and it brought FORTH wild grapes. 4 What could have been done more to my vineyard, that I have not done in it? wherefore, when I looked that it should bring FORTH grapes, brought it FORTH wild grapes? 24 Therefore as the FIRE devoureth the stubble, and the flame consumeth the chaff, so their root shall be as rottenness, and their blossom shall go up as dust: because they have cast away the law of the LORD of hosts, and despised the word of the Holy One of Israel. 25 Therefore is the anger of the LORD kindled against his people, and he hath stretched FORTH his hand against them, and hath smitten them: and the hills did tremble, and their carcases were torn in the midst of the streets. For all this his anger is not turned away, but his hand is stretched out still. ISAIAH 7 3 Then said the LORD unto Isaiah, Go FORTH now to meet Ahaz, thou, and Shearjashub thy son, at the end of the conduit of the upper pool in the highway of the fuller's field; 8 For the head of Syria is Damascus, and the head of Damascus is Rezin; and within threescore and FIVE years shall Ephraim be broken, that it be not a people. 25 And on all hills that shall be digged with the mattock, there shall not come thither the fear of briers and thorns: but it shall be for the sending FORTH of oxen, and for the treading of lesser cattle. --MORE-- |
