JEREMIAH 41 6 And Ishmael the son of Nethaniah went FORTH from Mizpah to meet them, weeping all along as he went: and it came to pass, as he met them, he said unto them, Come to Gedaliah the son of Ahikam. 11 But when Johanan the son of Kareah, and all the captains of the FORCES that were with him, heard of all the evil that Ishmael the son of Nethaniah had done, 13 Now it came to pass, that when all the people which were with Ishmael saw Johanan the son of Kareah, and all the captains of the FORCES that were with him, then they were glad. 16 Then took Johanan the son of Kareah, and all the captains of the FORCES that were with him, all the remnant of the people whom he had recovered from Ishmael the son of Nethaniah, from Mizpah, after that he had slain Gedaliah the son of Ahikam, even mighty men of war, and the women, and the children, and the eunuchs, whom he had brought again from Gibeon: JEREMIAH 42 1 Then all the captains of the FORCES, and Johanan the son of Kareah, and Jezaniah the son of Hoshaiah, and all the people from the least even unto the greatest, came near, 8 Then called he Johanan the son of Kareah, and all the captains of the FORCES which were with him, and all the people from the least even to the greatest, 18 For thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; As mine anger and my fury hath been poured FORTH upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem; so shall my fury be poured FORTH upon you, when ye shall enter into Egypt: and ye shall be an execration, and an astonishment, and a curse, and a reproach; and ye shall see this place no more. JEREMIAH 43 4 So Johanan the son of Kareah, and all the captains of the FORCES, and all the people, obeyed not the voice of the LORD, to dwell in the land of Judah. 5 But Johanan the son of Kareah, and all the captains of the FORCES, took all the remnant of Judah, that were returned from all nations, whither they had been driven, to dwell in the land of Judah; 12 And I will kindle a FIRE in the houses of the gods of Egypt; and he shall burn them, and carry them away captives: and he shall array himself with the land of Egypt, as a shepherd putteth on his garment; and he shall go FORTH from thence in peace. 13 He shall break also the images of Bethshemesh, that is in the land of Egypt; and the houses of the gods of the Egyptians shall he burn with FIRE. JEREMIAH 44 6 Wherefore my fury and mine anger was poured FORTH, and was kindled in the cities of Judah and in the streets of Jerusalem; and they are wasted and desolate, as at this day. 17 But we will certainly do whatsoever thing goeth FORTH out of our own mouth, to burn incense unto the queen of heaven, and to pour out drink offerings unto her, as we have done, we, and our fathers, our kings, and our princes, in the cities of Judah, and in the streets of Jerusalem: for then had we plenty of victuals, and were well, and saw no evil. JEREMIAH 46 4 Harness the horses; and get up, ye horsemen, and stand FORTH with your helmets; furbish the spears, and put on the brigandines. 9 Come up, ye horses; and rage, ye chariots; and let the mighty men come FORTH; the Ethiopians and the Libyans, that handle the shield; and the Lydians, that handle and bend the bow. JEREMIAH 48 7 For because thou hast trusted in thy works and in thy treasures, thou shalt also be taken: and Chemosh shall go FORTH into captivity with his priests and his princes together. 45 They that fled stood under the shadow of Heshbon because of the force: but a FIRE shall come FORTH out of Heshbon, and a flame from the midst of Sihon, and shall devour the corner of Moab, and the crown of the head of the tumultuous ones. JEREMIAH 50 8 Remove out of the midst of Babylon, and go FORTH out of the land of the Chaldeans, and be as the he goats before the flocks. 25 The LORD hath opened his armoury, and hath brought FORTH the weapons of his indignation: for this is the work of the Lord GOD of hosts in the land of the Chaldeans. 32 And the most proud shall stumble and fall, and none shall raise him up: and I will kindle a FIRE in his cities, and it shall devour all round about him. JEREMIAH 52 7 Then the city was broken up, and all the men of war fled, and went FORTH out of the city by night by the way of the gate between the two walls, which was by the king's garden; (now the Chaldeans were by the city round about:) and they went by the way of the plain. 13 And burned the house of the LORD, and the king's house; and all the houses of Jerusalem, and all the houses of the great men, burned he with FIRE: 22 And a chapiter of brass was upon it; and the height of one chapiter was FIVE cubits, with network and pomegranates upon the chapiters round about, all of brass. The second pillar also and the pomegranates were like unto these. 30 In the three and twentieth year of Nebuchadrezzar Nebuzaradan the captain of the guard carried away captive of the Jews seven hundred forty and FIVE persons: all the persons were four thousand and six hundred. 31 And it came to pass in the seven and thirtieth year of the captivity of Jehoiachin king of Judah, in the twelfth month, in the FIVE and twentieth day of the month, that Evilmerodach king of Babylon in the first year of his reign lifted up the head of Jehoiachin king of Judah, and brought him FORTH out of prison. LAMENTATIONS 1 13 From above hath he sent FIRE into my bones, and it prevaileth against them: he hath spread a net for my feet, he hath turned me back: he hath made me desolate and faint all the day. 17 Zion spreadeth FORTH her hands, and there is none to comfort her: the LORD hath commanded concerning Jacob, that his adversaries should be round about him: Jerusalem is as a menstruous woman among them. LAMENTATIONS 2 3 He hath cut off in his fierce anger all the horn of Israel: he hath drawn back his right hand from before the enemy, and he burned against Jacob like a flaming FIRE, which devoureth round about. 4 He hath bent his bow like an enemy: he stood with his right hand as an adversary, and slew all that were pleasant to the eye in the tabernacle of the daughter of Zion: he poured out his fury like FIRE. LAMENTATIONS 4 11 The LORD hath accomplished his fury; he hath poured out his fierce anger, and hath kindled a FIRE in Zion, and it hath devoured the foundations thereof. EZEKIEL 1 4 And I looked, and, behold, a whirlwind came out of the north, a great cloud, and a FIRE infolding itself, and a brightness was about it, and out of the midst thereof as the colour of amber, out of the midst of the FIRE. 13 As for the likeness of the living creatures, their appearance was like burning coals of FIRE, and like the appearance of lamps: it went up and down among the living creatures; and the FIRE was bright, and out of the FIRE went FORTH lightning. 22 And the likeness of the firmament upon the heads of the living creature was as the colour of the terrible crystal, stretched FORTH over their heads above. 27 And I saw as the colour of amber, as the appearance of FIRE round about within it, from the appearance of his loins even upward, and from the appearance of his loins even downward, I saw as it were the appearance of FIRE, and it had brightness round about. EZEKIEL 3 22 And the hand of the LORD was there upon me; and he said unto me, Arise, go FORTH into the plain, and I will there talk with thee. 23 Then I arose, and went FORTH into the plain: and, behold, the glory of the LORD stood there, as the glory which I saw by the river of Chebar: and I fell on my face. EZEKIEL 5 2 Thou shalt burn with FIRE a third part in the midst of the city, when the days of the siege are fulfilled: and thou shalt take a third part, and smite about it with a knife: and a third part thou shalt scatter in the wind; and I will draw out a sword after them. 4 Then take of them again, and cast them into the midst of the FIRE, and burn them in the FIRE; for thereof shall a FIRE come FORTH into all the house of Israel. EZEKIEL 7 10 Behold the day, behold, it is come: the morning is gone FORTH; the rod hath blossomed, pride hath budded. EZEKIEL 8 2 Then I beheld, and lo a likeness as the appearance of FIRE: from the appearance of his loins even downward, FIRE; and from his loins even upward, as the appearance of brightness, as the colour of amber. 3 And he put FORTH the form of an hand, and took me by a lock of mine head; and the spirit lifted me up between the earth and the heaven, and brought me in the visions of God to Jerusalem, to the door of the inner gate that looketh toward the north; where was the seat of the image of jealousy, which provoketh to jealousy. 16 And he brought me into the inner court of the LORD's house, and, behold, at the door of the temple of the LORD, between the porch and the altar, were about FIVE and twenty men, with their backs toward the temple of the LORD, and their faces toward the east; and they worshipped the sun toward the east. --MORE-- |
