LUKE 4 3 And the devil said unto him, If thou be the Son of GOD, command this stone that it be made bread. 4 And Jesus answered him, saying, It is written, That man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word of GOD. 8 And Jesus answered and said unto him, Get thee behind me, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy GOD, and him only shalt thou serve. 9 And he brought him to Jerusalem, and set him on a pinnacle of the temple, and said unto him, If thou be the Son of GOD, cast thyself down from hence: 12 And Jesus answering said unto him, It is said, Thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy GOD. 34 Saying, Let us alone; what have we to do with thee, thou Jesus of Nazareth? art thou come to destroy us? I know thee who thou art; the Holy One of GOD. 41 And devils also came out of many, crying out, and saying, Thou art Christ the Son of GOD. And he rebuking them suffered them not to speak: for they knew that he was Christ. 43 And he said unto them, I must preach the kingdom of GOD to other cities also: for therefore am I sent. LUKE 5 1 And it came to pass, that, as the people pressed upon him to hear the word of GOD, he stood by the lake of Gennesaret, 21 And the scribes and the Pharisees began to reason, saying, Who is this which speaketh blasphemies? Who can forgive sins, but GOD alone? 25 And immediately he rose up before them, and took up that whereon he lay, and departed to his own house, glorifying GOD. 26 And they were all amazed, and they glorified GOD, and were filled with fear, saying, We have seen strange things to day. LUKE 6 4 How he went into the house of GOD, and did take and eat the shewbread, and gave also to them that were with him; which it is not lawful to eat but for the priests alone? 12 And it came to pass in those days, that he went out into a mountain to pray, and continued all night in prayer to GOD. 20 And he lifted up his eyes on his disciples, and said, Blessed be ye poor: for yours is the kingdom of GOD. LUKE 7 16 And there came a fear on all: and they glorified GOD, saying, That a great prophet is risen up among us; and, That GOD hath visited his people. 28 For I say unto you, Among those that are born of women there is not a greater prophet than John the Baptist: but he that is least in the kingdom of GOD is greater than he. 29 And all the people that heard him, and the publicans, justified GOD, being baptized with the baptism of John. 30 But the Pharisees and lawyers rejected the counsel of GOD against themselves, being not baptized of him. LUKE 8 1 And it came to pass afterward, that he went throughout every city and village, preaching and shewing the glad tidings of the kingdom of GOD: and the twelve were with him, 10 And he said, Unto you it is given to know the mysteries of the kingdom of GOD: but to others in parables; that seeing they might not see, and hearing they might not understand. 11 Now the parable is this: The seed is the word of GOD. 21 And he answered and said unto them, My mother and my brethren are these which hear the word of GOD, and do it. 28 When he saw Jesus, he cried out, and fell down before him, and with a loud voice said, What have I to do with thee, Jesus, thou Son of GOD most high? I beseech thee, torment me not. 39 Return to thine own house, and shew how great things GOD hath done unto thee. And he went his way, and published throughout the whole city how great things Jesus had done unto him. LUKE 9 2 And he sent them to preach the kingdom of GOD, and to heal the sick. 11 And the people, when they knew it, followed him: and he received them, and spake unto them of the kingdom of GOD, and healed them that had need of healing. 20 He said unto them, But whom say ye that I am? Peter answering said, The Christ of GOD. 27 But I tell you of a truth, there be some standing here, which shall not taste of death, till they see the kingdom of GOD. 43 And they were all amazed at the mighty power of GOD. But while they wondered every one at all things which Jesus did, he said unto his disciples, 60 Jesus said unto him, Let the dead bury their dead: but go thou and preach the kingdom of GOD. 62 And Jesus said unto him, No man, having put his hand to the plough, and looking back, is fit for the kingdom of GOD. LUKE 10 9 And heal the sick that are therein, and say unto them, The kingdom of GOD is come nigh unto you. 11 Even the very dust of your city, which cleaveth on us, we do wipe off against you: notwithstanding be ye sure of this, that the kingdom of GOD is come nigh unto you. 27 And he answering said, Thou shalt love the Lord thy GOD with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy strength, and with all thy mind; and thy neighbour as thyself. LUKE 11 20 But if I with the finger of GOD cast out devils, no doubt the kingdom of GOD is come upon you. 28 But he said, Yea rather, blessed are they that hear the word of GOD, and keep it. 42 But woe unto you, Pharisees! for ye tithe mint and rue and all manner of herbs, and pass over judgment and the love of GOD: these ought ye to have done, and not to leave the other undone. 49 Therefore also said the wisdom of GOD, I will send them prophets and apostles, and some of them they shall slay and persecute: LUKE 12 6 Are not five sparrows sold for two farthings, and not one of them is forgotten before GOD? 8 Also I say unto you, Whosoever shall confess me before men, him shall the Son of man also confess before the angels of GOD: 9 But he that denieth me before men shall be denied before the angels of GOD. 20 But GOD said unto him, Thou fool, this night thy soul shall be required of thee: then whose shall those things be, which thou hast provided? 21 So is he that layeth up treasure for himself, and is not rich toward GOD. 24 Consider the ravens: for they neither sow nor reap; which neither have storehouse nor barn; and GOD feedeth them: how much more are ye better than the fowls? 28 If then GOD so clothe the grass, which is to day in the field, and to morrow is cast into the oven; how much more will he clothe you, O ye of little faith? 31 But rather seek ye the kingdom of GOD; and all these things shall be added unto you. LUKE 13 13 And he laid his hands on her: and immediately she was made straight, and glorified GOD. 18 Then said he, Unto what is the kingdom of GOD like? and whereunto shall I resemble it? 20 And again he said, Whereunto shall I liken the kingdom of GOD? 28 There shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth, when ye shall see Abraham, and Isaac, and Jacob, and all the prophets, in the kingdom of GOD, and you yourselves thrust out. 29 And they shall come from the east, and from the west, and from the north, and from the south, and shall sit down in the kingdom of GOD. --MORE-- |
