NUMBERS 25 7 And when Phinehas, the son of Eleazar, the son of AARON the priest, saw it, he rose up from among the congregation, and took a javelin in his hand; 11 Phinehas, the son of Eleazar, the son of AARON the priest, hath turned my wrath away from the children of Israel, while he was zealous for my sake among them, that I consumed not the children of Israel in my jealousy. And all the people heard when the king gave all the captains charge concerning Absalom. 12 And the man said unto Joab, Though I should receive a thousand shekels of silver in mine hand, yet would I not put forth mine hand against the king's son: for in our hearing the king charged thee and ABISHAI and Ittai, saying, Beware that none touch the young man Absalom. 2 SAMUEL 19 21 But ABISHAI the son of Zeruiah answered and said, Shall not Shimei be put to death for this, because he cursed the LORD's anointed? 2 SAMUEL 20 6 And David said to ABISHAI, Now shall Sheba the son of Bichri do us more harm than did Absalom: take thou thy lord's servants, and pursue after him, lest he get him fenced cities, and escape us. 10 But Amasa took no heed to the sword that was in Joab's hand: so he smote him therewith in the fifth rib, and shed out his bowels to the ground, and struck him not again; and he died. So Joab and ABISHAI his brother pursued after Sheba the son of Bichri. 2 SAMUEL 21 17 But ABISHAI the son of Zeruiah succoured him, and smote the Philistine, and killed him. The sons also of AARON; Nadab, and Abihu, Eleazar, and Ithamar. 28 And the sons of Samuel; the firstborn Vashni, and ABIAH. 49 But AARON and his sons offered upon the altar of the burnt offering, and on the altar of incense, and were appointed for all the work of the place most holy, and to make an atonement for Israel, according to all that Moses the servant of God had commanded. 50 And these are the sons of AARON; Eleazar his son, Phinehas his son, Abishua his son, 54 Now these are their dwelling places throughout their castles in their coasts, of the sons of AARON, of the families of the Kohathites: for theirs was the lot. 57 And to the sons of AARON they gave the cities of Judah, namely, Hebron, the city of refuge, and Libnah with her suburbs, and Jattir, and Eshtemoa, with their suburbs, --MORE-- |
