LUKE 7 6 Then Jesus went with them. And when he was now not far from the house, the centurion sent friends to him, saying unto him, Lord, trouble not thyself: for I AM not worthy that thou shouldest enter under my roof: 8 For I also AM a man set under authority, having under me soldiers, and I say unto one, Go, and he goeth; and to another, Come, and he cometh; and to my servant, Do this, and he doeth it. 37 And, behold, a woman in the city, which was a sinner, when she knew that Jesus sat at meat in the Pharisee's house, brought AN alabaster box of ointment, LUKE 8 8 And other fell on good ground, and sprang up, and bare fruit AN hundredfold. And when he had said these things, he cried, He that hath ears to hear, let him hear. 15 But that on the good ground are they, which in AN honest and good heart, having heard the word, keep it, and bring forth fruit with patience. 32 And there was there AN herd of many swine feeding on the mountain: and they besought him that he would suffer them to enter into them. And he suffered them. 43 And a woman having AN issue of blood twelve years, which had spent all her living upon physicians, neither could be healed of any, LUKE 9 18 And it came to pass, as he was alone praying, his disciples were with him: and he asked them, saying, Whom say the people that I AM? 20 He said unto them, But whom say ye that I AM? Peter answering said, The Christ of God. 28 And it came to pass about AN eight days after these sayings, he took Peter and John and James, and went up into a mountain to pray. LUKE 10 34 And went to him, and bound up his wounds, pouring in oil and wine, and set him on his own beast, and brought him to AN inn, and took care of him. LUKE 11 12 Or if he shall ask AN egg, will he offer him a scorpion? 29 And when the people were gathered thick together, he began to say, This is AN evil generation: they seek a sign; and there shall no sign be given it, but the sign of Jonas the prophet. LUKE 12 1 In the mean time, when there were gathered together AN innumerable multitude of people, insomuch that they trode one upon another, he began to say unto his disciples first of all, Beware ye of the leaven of the Pharisees, which is hypocrisy. 40 Be ye therefore ready also: for the Son of man cometh at AN hour when ye think not. 46 The lord of that servant will come in a day when he looketh not for him, and at AN hour when he is not aware, and will cut him in sunder, and will appoint him his portion with the unbelievers. 49 I AM come to send fire on the earth; and what will I, if it be already kindled? 50 But I have a baptism to be baptized with; and how AM I straitened till it be accomplished! 51 Suppose ye that I AM come to give peace on earth? I tell you, Nay; but rather division: LUKE 14 5 And answered them, saying, Which of you shall have AN ass or AN ox fallen into a pit, and will not straightway pull him out on the sabbath day? 32 Or else, while the other is yet a great way off, he sendeth AN ambassage, and desireth conditions of peace. LUKE 15 4 What man of you, having AN hundred sheep, if he lose one of them, doth not leave the ninety and nine in the wilderness, and go after that which is lost, until he find it? 19 And AM no more worthy to be called thy son: make me as one of thy hired servants. 21 And the son said unto him, Father, I have sinned against heaven, and in thy sight, and AM no more worthy to be called thy son. LUKE 16 2 And he called him, and said unto him, How is it that I hear this of thee? give AN account of thy stewardship; for thou mayest be no longer steward. 3 Then the steward said within himself, What shall I do? for my lord taketh away from me the stewardship: I cannot dig; to beg I AM ashamed. 4 I AM resolved what to do, that, when I AM put out of the stewardship, they may receive me into their houses. 6 And he said, AN hundred measures of oil. And he said unto him, Take thy bill, and sit down quickly, and write fifty. 7 Then said he to another, And how much owest thou? And he said, AN hundred measures of wheat. And he said unto him, Take thy bill, and write fourscore. 24 And he cried and said, Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue; for I AM tormented in this flame. 26 And beside all this, between us and you there is a great gulf FIXED: so that they which would pass from hence to you cannot; neither can they pass to us, that would come from thence. LUKE 18 11 The Pharisee stood and prayed thus with himself, God, I thank thee, that I AM not as other men are, extortioners, unjust, adulterers, or even as this publican. --MORE-- |
