ISAIAH 64 2 As when the melting FIRE burneth, the FIRE causeth the waters to boil, to make thy name known to thine adversaries, that the nations may tremble at thy presence! 11 Our holy and our beautiful house, where our fathers praised thee, is burned up with FIRE: and all our pleasant things are laid waste. ISAIAH 65 5 Which say, Stand by thyself, come not near to me; for I am holier than thou. JEREMIAH 1 5 Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest FORTH out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations. 9 Then the LORD put FORTH his hand, and touched my mouth. JEREMIAH 5 14 Wherefore thus saith the LORD God of hosts, Because ye speak this word, behold, I will make my words in thy mouth FIRE, and this people wood, and it shall devour them. JEREMIAH 6 1 O ye children of Benjamin, gather yourselves to flee out of the midst of Jerusalem, and blow the trumpet in Tekoa, and set up a sign of FIRE in Bethhaccerem: for evil appeareth out of the north, and great destruction. 25 Go not FORTH into the field, nor walk by the way; for the sword of the enemy and fear is on every side. 29 The bellows are burned, the lead is consumed of the FIRE; the founder melteth in vain: for the wicked are not plucked away. JEREMIAH 7 18 The children gather wood, and the fathers kindle the FIRE, and the women knead their dough, to make cakes to the queen of heaven, and to pour out drink offerings unto other gods, that they may provoke me to anger. 25 Since the day that your fathers came FORTH out of the land of Egypt unto this day I have even sent unto you all my servants the prophets, daily rising up early and sending them: 31 And they have built the high places of Tophet, which is in the valley of the son of Hinnom, to burn their sons and their daughters in the FIRE; which I commanded them not, neither came it into my heart. JEREMIAH 10 13 When he uttereth his voice, there is a multitude of waters in the heavens, and he causeth the vapours to ascend from the ends of the earth; he maketh lightnings with rain, and bringeth FORTH the wind out of his treasures. 20 My tabernacle is spoiled, and all my cords are broken: my children are gone FORTH of me, and they are not: there is none to stretch FORTH my tent any more, and to set up my curtains. JEREMIAH 14 18 If I go FORTH into the field, then behold the slain with the sword! and if I enter into the city, then behold them that are sick with famine! yea, both the prophet and the priest go about into a land that they know not. JEREMIAH 15 1 Then said the LORD unto me, Though Moses and Samuel stood before me, yet my mind could not be toward this people: cast them out of my sight, and let them go FORTH. 2 And it shall come to pass, if they say unto thee, Whither shall we go FORTH? then thou shalt tell them, Thus saith the LORD; Such as are for death, to death; and such as are for the sword, to the sword; and such as are for the famine, to the famine; and such as are for the captivity, to the captivity. 14 And I will make thee to pass with thine enemies into a land which thou knowest not: for a FIRE is kindled in mine anger, which shall burn upon you. 19 Therefore thus saith the LORD, If thou return, then will I bring thee again, and thou shalt stand before me: and if thou take FORTH the precious from the vile, thou shalt be as my mouth: let them return unto thee; but return not thou unto them. JEREMIAH 17 4 And thou, even thyself, shalt discontinue from thine heritage that I gave thee; and I will cause thee to serve thine enemies in the land which thou knowest not: for ye have kindled a FIRE in mine anger, which shall burn for ever. 22 Neither carry FORTH a burden out of your houses on the sabbath day, neither do ye any work, but hallow ye the sabbath day, as I commanded your fathers. 27 But if ye will not hearken unto me to hallow the sabbath day, and not to bear a burden, even entering in at the gates of Jerusalem on the sabbath day; then will I kindle a FIRE in the gates thereof, and it shall devour the palaces of Jerusalem, and it shall not be quenched. JEREMIAH 19 2 And go FORTH unto the valley of the son of Hinnom, which is by the entry of the east gate, and proclaim there the words that I shall tell thee, 5 They have built also the high places of Baal, to burn their sons with FIRE for burnt offerings unto Baal, which I commanded not, nor spake it, neither came it into my mind: JEREMIAH 20 3 And it came to pass on the morrow, that Pashur brought FORTH Jeremiah out of the stocks. Then said Jeremiah unto him, The LORD hath not called thy name Pashur, but Magormissabib. 9 Then I said, I will not make mention of him, nor speak any more in his name. But his word was in mine heart as a burning FIRE shut up in my bones, and I was weary with forbearing, and I could not stay. 18 Wherefore came I FORTH out of the womb to see labour and sorrow, that my days should be consumed with shame? JEREMIAH 21 10 For I have set my face against this city for evil, and not for good, saith the LORD: it shall be given into the hand of the king of Babylon, and he shall burn it with FIRE. 12 O house of David, thus saith the LORD; Execute judgment in the morning, and deliver him that is spoiled out of the hand of the oppressor, lest my fury go out like FIRE, and burn that none can quench it, because of the evil of your doings. 14 But I will punish you according to the fruit of your doings, saith the LORD: and I will kindle a FIRE in the forest thereof, and it shall devour all things round about it. JEREMIAH 22 7 And I will prepare destroyers against thee, every one with his weapons: and they shall cut down thy choice cedars, and cast them into the FIRE. 11 For thus saith the LORD touching Shallum the son of Josiah king of Judah, which reigned instead of Josiah his father, which went FORTH out of this place; He shall not return thither any more: 19 He shall be buried with the burial of an ass, drawn and cast FORTH beyond the gates of Jerusalem. --MORE-- |
