2 CHRONICLES 18 1 Now Jehoshaphat had riches and honour in abundance, and joined affinity with AHAB. 2 And after certain years he went down to AHAB to Samaria. And AHAB killed sheep and oxen for him in abundance, and for the people that he had with him, and persuaded him to go up with him to Ramothgilead. 3 And AHAB king of Israel said unto Jehoshaphat king of Judah, Wilt thou go with me to Ramothgilead? And he answered him, I am as thou art, and my people as thy people; and we will be with thee in the war. 19 And the LORD said, Who shall entice AHAB king of Israel, that he may go up and fall at Ramothgilead? And Azariah the son of Jehoram king of Judah went down to see Jehoram the son of AHAB at Jezreel, because he was sick. 7 And the destruction of Ahaziah was of God by coming to Joram: for when he was come, he went out with Jehoram against Jehu the son of Nimshi, whom the LORD had anointed to cut off the house of AHAB. 8 And it came to pass, that, when Jehu was executing judgment upon the house of AHAB, and found the princes of Judah, and the sons of the brethren of Ahaziah, that ministered to Ahaziah, he slew them. 2 CHRONICLES 25 17 Then Amaziah king of Judah took ADVICE, and sent to Joash, the son of Jehoahaz, the son of Jehu, king of Israel, saying, Come, let us see one another in the face. 19 Thou sayest, Lo, thou hast smitten the Edomites; and thine heart lifteth thee up to boast: ABIDE now at home; why shouldest thou meddle to thine hurt, that thou shouldest fall, even thou, and Judah with thee? 2 CHRONICLES 32 10 Thus saith Sennacherib king of Assyria, Whereon do ye trust, that ye ABIDE in the siege in Jerusalem?
