JEREMIAH 7 18 The children gather wood, and the fathers kindle the FIRE, and the women knead their dough, to make cakes to the queen of heaven, and to pour out drink offerings unto other gods, that they may provoke me to anger. 25 Since the day that your fathers came FORTH out of the land of Egypt unto this day I have even sent unto you all my servants the prophets, daily rising up early and sending them: 31 And they have built the high places of Tophet, which is in the valley of the son of Hinnom, to burn their sons and their daughters in the FIRE; which I commanded them not, neither came it into my heart. JEREMIAH 10 13 When he uttereth his voice, there is a multitude of waters in the heavens, and he causeth the vapours to ascend from the ends of the earth; he maketh lightnings with rain, and bringeth FORTH the wind out of his treasures. 20 My tabernacle is spoiled, and all my cords are broken: my children are gone FORTH of me, and they are not: there is none to stretch FORTH my tent any more, and to set up my curtains. JEREMIAH 11 4 Which I commanded your fathers in the day that I brought them FORTH out of the land of Egypt, from the iron furnace, saying, Obey my voice, and do them, according to all which I command you: so shall ye be my people, and I will be your God: 16 The LORD called thy name, A green olive tree, fair, and of goodly fruit: with the noise of a great tumult he hath kindled FIRE upon it, and the branches of it are broken. JEREMIAH 12 2 Thou hast planted them, yea, they have taken root: they grow, yea, they bring FORTH fruit: thou art near in their mouth, and far from their reins. JEREMIAH 14 18 If I go FORTH into the field, then behold the slain with the sword! and if I enter into the city, then behold them that are sick with famine! yea, both the prophet and the priest go about into a land that they know not. JEREMIAH 15 1 Then said the LORD unto me, Though Moses and Samuel stood before me, yet my mind could not be toward this people: cast them out of my sight, and let them go FORTH. 2 And it shall come to pass, if they say unto thee, Whither shall we go FORTH? then thou shalt tell them, Thus saith the LORD; Such as are for death, to death; and such as are for the sword, to the sword; and such as are for the famine, to the famine; and such as are for the captivity, to the captivity. 14 And I will make thee to pass with thine enemies into a land which thou knowest not: for a FIRE is kindled in mine anger, which shall burn upon you. 19 Therefore thus saith the LORD, If thou return, then will I bring thee again, and thou shalt stand before me: and if thou take FORTH the precious from the vile, thou shalt be as my mouth: let them return unto thee; but return not thou unto them. JEREMIAH 17 4 And thou, even thyself, shalt discontinue from thine heritage that I gave thee; and I will cause thee to serve thine enemies in the land which thou knowest not: for ye have kindled a FIRE in mine anger, which shall burn for ever. 22 Neither carry FORTH a burden out of your houses on the sabbath day, neither do ye any work, but hallow ye the sabbath day, as I commanded your fathers. 27 But if ye will not hearken unto me to hallow the sabbath day, and not to bear a burden, even entering in at the gates of Jerusalem on the sabbath day; then will I kindle a FIRE in the gates thereof, and it shall devour the palaces of Jerusalem, and it shall not be quenched. JEREMIAH 19 2 And go FORTH unto the valley of the son of Hinnom, which is by the entry of the east gate, and proclaim there the words that I shall tell thee, 5 They have built also the high places of Baal, to burn their sons with FIRE for burnt offerings unto Baal, which I commanded not, nor spake it, neither came it into my mind: JEREMIAH 20 3 And it came to pass on the morrow, that Pashur brought FORTH Jeremiah out of the stocks. Then said Jeremiah unto him, The LORD hath not called thy name Pashur, but Magormissabib. 9 Then I said, I will not make mention of him, nor speak any more in his name. But his word was in mine heart as a burning FIRE shut up in my bones, and I was weary with forbearing, and I could not stay. 18 Wherefore came I FORTH out of the womb to see labour and sorrow, that my days should be consumed with shame? JEREMIAH 21 10 For I have set my face against this city for evil, and not for good, saith the LORD: it shall be given into the hand of the king of Babylon, and he shall burn it with FIRE. 12 O house of David, thus saith the LORD; Execute judgment in the morning, and deliver him that is spoiled out of the hand of the oppressor, lest my fury go out like FIRE, and burn that none can quench it, because of the evil of your doings. 14 But I will punish you according to the fruit of your doings, saith the LORD: and I will kindle a FIRE in the forest thereof, and it shall devour all things round about it. JEREMIAH 22 7 And I will prepare destroyers against thee, every one with his weapons: and they shall cut down thy choice cedars, and cast them into the FIRE. 11 For thus saith the LORD touching Shallum the son of Josiah king of Judah, which reigned instead of Josiah his father, which went FORTH out of this place; He shall not return thither any more: 19 He shall be buried with the burial of an ass, drawn and cast FORTH beyond the gates of Jerusalem. JEREMIAH 23 15 Therefore thus saith the LORD of hosts concerning the prophets; Behold, I will feed them with wormwood, and make them drink the water of gall: for from the prophets of Jerusalem is profaneness gone FORTH into all the land. 19 Behold, a whirlwind of the LORD is gone FORTH in fury, even a grievous whirlwind: it shall fall grievously upon the head of the wicked. 29 Is not my word like as a FIRE? saith the LORD; and like a hammer that breaketh the rock in pieces? JEREMIAH 25 32 Thus saith the LORD of hosts, Behold, evil shall go FORTH from nation to nation, and a great whirlwind shall be raised up from the coasts of the earth. JEREMIAH 26 23 And they fetched FORTH Urijah out of Egypt, and brought him unto Jehoiakim the king; who slew him with the sword, and cast his dead body into the graves of the common people. JEREMIAH 29 16 Know that thus saith the LORD of the king that sitteth upon the throne of David, and of all the people that dwelleth in this city, and of your brethren that are not gone FORTH with you into captivity; 22 And of them shall be taken up a curse by all the captivity of Judah which are in Babylon, saying, The LORD make thee like Zedekiah and like Ahab, whom the king of Babylon roasted in the FIRE; JEREMIAH 30 23 Behold, the whirlwind of the LORD goeth FORTH with fury, a continuing whirlwind: it shall fall with pain upon the head of the wicked. JEREMIAH 31 4 Again I will build thee, and thou shalt be built, O virgin of Israel: thou shalt again be adorned with thy tabrets, and shalt go FORTH in the dances of them that make merry. 24 And there shall dwell in Judah itself, and in all the cities thereof together, husbandmen, and they that go FORTH with flocks. 39 And the measuring line shall yet go FORTH over against it upon the hill Gareb, and shall compass about to Goath. JEREMIAH 32 21 And hast brought FORTH thy people Israel out of the land of Egypt with signs, and with wonders, and with a strong hand, and with a stretched out arm, and with great terror; 29 And the Chaldeans, that fight against this city, shall come and set FIRE on this city, and burn it with the houses, upon whose roofs they have offered incense unto Baal, and poured out drink offerings unto other gods, to provoke me to anger. 35 And they built the high places of Baal, which are in the valley of the son of Hinnom, to cause their sons and their daughters to pass through the FIRE unto Molech; which I commanded them not, neither came it into my mind, that they should do this abomination, to cause Judah to sin. JEREMIAH 34 2 Thus saith the LORD, the God of Israel; Go and speak to Zedekiah king of Judah, and tell him, Thus saith the LORD; Behold, I will give this city into the hand of the king of Babylon, and he shall burn it with FIRE: 13 Thus saith the LORD, the God of Israel; I made a covenant with your fathers in the day that I brought them FORTH out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondmen, saying, 22 Behold, I will command, saith the LORD, and cause them to return to this city; and they shall fight against it, and take it, and burn it with FIRE: and I will make the cities of Judah a desolation without an inhabitant. JEREMIAH 36 22 Now the king sat in the winterhouse in the ninth month: and there was a FIRE on the hearth burning before him. 23 And it came to pass, that when Jehudi had read three or four leaves, he cut it with the penknife, and cast it into the FIRE that was on the hearth, until all the roll was consumed in the FIRE that was on the hearth. 32 Then took Jeremiah another roll, and gave it to Baruch the scribe, the son of Neriah; who wrote therein from the mouth of Jeremiah all the words of the book which Jehoiakim king of Judah had burned in the FIRE: and there were added besides unto them many like words. JEREMIAH 37 5 Then Pharaoh's army was come FORTH out of Egypt: and when the Chaldeans that besieged Jerusalem heard tidings of them, they departed from Jerusalem. 7 Thus saith the LORD, the God of Israel; Thus shall ye say to the king of Judah, that sent you unto me to enquire of me; Behold, Pharaoh's army, which is come FORTH to help you, shall return to Egypt into their own land. 8 And the Chaldeans shall come again, and fight against this city, and take it, and burn it with FIRE. 10 For though ye had smitten the whole army of the Chaldeans that fight against you, and there remained but wounded men among them, yet should they rise up every man in his tent, and burn this city with FIRE. 12 Then Jeremiah went FORTH out of Jerusalem to go into the land of Benjamin, to separate himself thence in the midst of the people. --MORE-- |
