LEVITICUS 21 1 And the LORD said unto Moses, Speak unto the priests the sons of AARON, and say unto them, There shall none be defiled for the dead among his people: 17 Speak unto AARON, saying, Whosoever he be of thy seed in their generations that hath any blemish, let him not approach to offer the bread of his God. 21 No man that hath a blemish of the seed of AARON the priest shall come nigh to offer the offerings of the LORD made by fire: he hath a blemish; he shall not come nigh to offer the bread of his God. 24 And Moses told it unto AARON, and to his sons, and unto all the children of Israel. LEVITICUS 22 2 Speak unto AARON and to his sons, that they separate themselves from the holy things of the children of Israel, and that they profane not my holy name in those things which they hallow unto me: I am the LORD. 4 What man soever of the seed of AARON is a leper, or hath a running issue; he shall not eat of the holy things, until he be clean. And whoso toucheth any thing that is unclean by the dead, or a man whose seed goeth from him; 18 Speak unto AARON, and to his sons, and unto all the children of Israel, and say unto them, Whatsoever he be of the house of Israel, or of the strangers in Israel, that will offer his oblation for all his vows, and for all his freewill offerings, which they will offer unto the LORD for a burnt offering; LEVITICUS 24 3 Without the vail of the testimony, in the tabernacle of the congregation, shall AARON order it from the evening unto the morning before the LORD continually: it shall be a statute for ever in your generations. 9 And it shall be AARON's and his sons'; and they shall eat it in the holy place: for it is most holy unto him of the offerings of the LORD made by fire by a perpetual statute. LEVITICUS 25 31 But the houses of the villages which have no wall round ABOUT them shall be counted as the fields of the country: they may be redeemed, and they shall go out in the jubile. 44 Both thy bondmen, and thy bondmaids, which thou shalt have, shall be of the heathen that are round ABOUT you; of them shall ye buy bondmen and bondmaids. LEVITICUS 26 42 Then will I remember my covenant with Jacob, and also my covenant with Isaac, and also my covenant with ABRAHAM will I remember; and I will remember the land. NUMBERS 1 3 From twenty years old and upward, all that are able to go forth to war in Israel: thou and AARON shall number them by their armies. 17 And Moses and AARON took these men which are expressed by their names: 44 These are those that were numbered, which Moses and AARON numbered, and the princes of Israel, being twelve men: each one was for the house of his fathers. 50 But thou shalt appoint the Levites over the tabernacle of testimony, and over all the vessels thereof, and over all things that belong to it: they shall bear the tabernacle, and all the vessels thereof; and they shall minister unto it, and shall encamp round ABOUT the tabernacle. 53 But the Levites shall pitch round ABOUT the tabernacle of testimony, that there be no wrath upon the congregation of the children of Israel: and the Levites shall keep the charge of the tabernacle of testimony. NUMBERS 2 1 And the LORD spake unto Moses and unto AARON, saying, 2 Every man of the children of Israel shall pitch by his own standard, with the ensign of their father's house: far off ABOUT the tabernacle of the congregation shall they pitch. NUMBERS 3 1 These also are the generations of AARON and Moses in the day that the LORD spake with Moses in mount Sinai. 2 And these are the names of the sons of AARON; Nadab the firstborn, and Abihu, Eleazar, and Ithamar. 3 These are the names of the sons of AARON, the priests which were anointed, whom he consecrated to minister in the priest's office. 4 And Nadab and Abihu died before the LORD, when they offered strange fire before the LORD, in the wilderness of Sinai, and they had no children: and Eleazar and Ithamar ministered in the priest's office in the sight of AARON their father. 6 Bring the tribe of Levi near, and present them before AARON the priest, that they may minister unto him. 9 And thou shalt give the Levites unto AARON and to his sons: they are wholly given unto him out of the children of Israel. 10 And thou shalt appoint AARON and his sons, and they shall wait on their priest's office: and the stranger that cometh nigh shall be put to death. 26 And the hangings of the court, and the curtain for the door of the court, which is by the tabernacle, and by the altar round ABOUT, and the cords of it for all the service thereof. 32 And Eleazar the son of AARON the priest shall be chief over the chief of the Levites, and have the oversight of them that keep the charge of the sanctuary. 37 And the pillars of the court round ABOUT, and their sockets, and their pins, and their cords. 38 But those that encamp before the tabernacle toward the east, even before the tabernacle of the congregation eastward, shall be Moses, and AARON and his sons, keeping the charge of the sanctuary for the charge of the children of Israel; and the stranger that cometh nigh shall be put to death. 39 All that were numbered of the Levites, which Moses and AARON numbered at the commandment of the LORD, throughout their families, all the males from a month old and upward, were twenty and two thousand. 48 And thou shalt give the money, wherewith the odd number of them is to be redeemed, unto AARON and to his sons. 51 And Moses gave the money of them that were redeemed unto AARON and to his sons, according to the word of the LORD, as the LORD commanded Moses. NUMBERS 4 1 And the LORD spake unto Moses and unto AARON, saying, 4 This shall be the service of the sons of Kohath in the tabernacle of the congregation, ABOUT the most holy things: 5 And when the camp setteth forward, AARON shall come, and his sons, and they shall take down the covering vail, and cover the ark of testimony with it: 14 And they shall put upon it all the vessels thereof, wherewith they minister ABOUT it, even the censers, the fleshhooks, and the shovels, and the basons, all the vessels of the altar; and they shall spread upon it a covering of badgers' skins, and put to the staves of it. 15 And when AARON and his sons have made an end of covering the sanctuary, and all the vessels of the sanctuary, as the camp is to set forward; after that, the sons of Kohath shall come to bear it: but they shall not touch any holy thing, lest they die. These things are the burden of the sons of Kohath in the tabernacle of the congregation. 16 And to the office of Eleazar the son of AARON the priest pertaineth the oil for the light, and the sweet incense, and the daily meat offering, and the anointing oil, and the oversight of all the tabernacle, and of all that therein is, in the sanctuary, and in the vessels thereof. 17 And the LORD spake unto Moses and unto AARON saying, 19 But thus do unto them, that they may live, and not die, when they approach unto the most holy things: AARON and his sons shall go in, and appoint them every one to his service and to his burden: 26 And the hangings of the court, and the hanging for the door of the gate of the court, which is by the tabernacle and by the altar round ABOUT, and their cords, and all the instruments of their service, and all that is made for them: so shall they serve. 27 At the appointment of AARON and his sons shall be all the service of the sons of the Gershonites, in all their burdens, and in all their service: and ye shall appoint unto them in charge all their burdens. 28 This is the service of the families of the sons of Gershon in the tabernacle of the congregation: and their charge shall be under the hand of Ithamar the son of AARON the priest. 32 And the pillars of the court round ABOUT, and their sockets, and their pins, and their cords, with all their instruments, and with all their service: and by name ye shall reckon the instruments of the charge of their burden. 33 This is the service of the families of the sons of Merari, according to all their service, in the tabernacle of the congregation, under the hand of Ithamar the son of AARON the priest. 34 And Moses and AARON and the chief of the congregation numbered the sons of the Kohathites after their families, and after the house of their fathers, 37 These were they that were numbered of the families of the Kohathites, all that might do service in the tabernacle of the congregation, which Moses and AARON did number according to the commandment of the LORD by the hand of Moses. 41 These are they that were numbered of the families of the sons of Gershon, of all that might do service in the tabernacle of the congregation, whom Moses and AARON did number according to the commandment of the LORD. 45 These be those that were numbered of the families of the sons of Merari, whom Moses and AARON numbered according to the word of the LORD by the hand of Moses. 46 All those that were numbered of the Levites, whom Moses and AARON and the chief of Israel numbered, after their families, and after the house of their fathers, --MORE-- |
