And the inhabitants of Jerusalem did ACCORDING to the covenant of God, the God of their fathers. 2 CHRONICLES 35 4 And prepare yourselves by the houses of your fathers, after your courses, ACCORDING to the writing of David king of Israel, and ACCORDING to the writing of Solomon his son. 5 And stand in the holy place ACCORDING to the divisions of the families of the fathers of your brethren the people, and after the division of the families of the Levites. 6 So kill the passover, and sanctify yourselves, and prepare your brethren, that they may do ACCORDING to the word of the LORD by the hand of Moses. 10 So the service was prepared, and the priests stood in their place, and the Levites in their courses, ACCORDING to the king's commandment. 12 And they removed the burnt offerings, that they might give ACCORDING to the divisions of the families of the people, to offer unto the LORD, as it is written in the book of Moses. And so did they with the oxen. 13 And they roasted the passover with fire ACCORDING to the ordinance: but the other holy offerings sod they in pots, and in caldrons, and in pans, and divided them speedily among all the people. 14 And afterward they made ready for themselves, and for the priests: because the priests the sons of AARON were busied in offering of burnt offerings and the fat until night; therefore the Levites prepared for themselves, and for the priests the sons of AARON. 15 And the singers the sons of Asaph were in their place, ACCORDING to the commandment of David, and Asaph, and Heman, and Jeduthun the king's seer; and the porters waited at every gate; they might not depart from their service; for their brethren the Levites prepared for them. 16 So all the service of the LORD was prepared the same day, to keep the passover, and to offer burnt offerings upon the altar of the LORD, ACCORDING to the commandment of king Josiah. 26 Now the rest of the ACTS of Josiah, and his goodness, ACCORDING to that which was written in the law of the LORD, 2 CHRONICLES 36 8 Now the rest of the ACTS of Jehoiakim, and his abominations which he did, and that which was found in him, behold, they are written in the book of the kings of Israel and Judah: and Jehoiachin his son reigned in his stead. EZRA 3 4 They kept also the feast of tabernacles, as it is written, and offered the daily burnt offerings by number, ACCORDING to the custom, as the duty of every day required; 7 They gave money also unto the masons, and to the carpenters; and meat, and drink, and oil, unto them of Zidon, and to them of Tyre, to bring cedar trees from Lebanon to the sea of Joppa, ACCORDING to the grant that they had of Cyrus king of Persia. EZRA 6 9 And that which they have need of, both young bullocks, and rams, and lambs, for the burnt offerings of the God of heaven, wheat, salt, wine, and oil, ACCORDING to the appointment of the priests which are at Jerusalem, let it be given them day by day without fail: 13 Then Tatnai, governor on this side the river, Shetharboznai, and their companions, ACCORDING to that which Darius the king had sent, so they did speedily. 14 And the elders of the Jews builded, and they prospered through the prophesying of Haggai the prophet and Zechariah the son of Iddo. And they builded, and finished it, ACCORDING to the commandment of the God of Israel, and ACCORDING to the commandment of Cyrus, and Darius, and Artaxerxes king of Persia. 17 And offered at the dedication of this house of God an hundred bullocks, two hundred rams, four hundred lambs; and for a sin offering for all Israel, twelve he goats, ACCORDING to the number of the tribes of Israel. EZRA 7 5 The son of Abishua, the son of Phinehas, the son of Eleazar, the son of AARON the chief priest: 6 This Ezra went up from Babylon; and he was a ready scribe in the law of Moses, which the LORD God of Israel had given: and the king granted him all his request, ACCORDING to the hand of the LORD his God upon him. 9 For upon the first day of the first month began he to go up from Babylon, and on the first day of the fifth month came he to Jerusalem, ACCORDING to the good hand of his God upon him. 14 Forasmuch as thou art sent of the king, and of his seven counsellors, to enquire concerning Judah and Jerusalem, ACCORDING to the law of thy God which is in thine hand; EZRA 9 1 Now when these things were done, the princes came to me, saying, The people of Israel, and the priests, and the Levites, have not separated themselves from the people of the lands, doing ACCORDING to their abominations, even of the Canaanites, the Hittites, the Perizzites, the Jebusites, the Ammonites, the Moabites, the Egyptians, and the Amorites. EZRA 10 3 Now therefore let us make a covenant with our God to put away all the wives, and such as are born of them, ACCORDING to the counsel of my lord, and of those that tremble at the commandment of our God; and let it be done ACCORDING to the law. 5 Then arose Ezra, and made the chief priests, the Levites, and all Israel, to swear that they should do ACCORDING to this word. And they sware. 8 And that whosoever would not come within three days, ACCORDING to the counsel of the princes and the elders, all his substance should be forfeited, and himself separated from the congregation of those that had been carried away. --MORE-- |
