And so did they with the oxen. 13 And they roasted the passover with fire ACCORDING to the ordinance: but the other holy offerings sod they in pots, and in caldrons, and in pans, and divided them speedily among all the people. 14 And afterward they made ready for themselves, and for the priests: because the priests the sons of AARON were busied in offering of burnt offerings and the fat until night; therefore the Levites prepared for themselves, and for the priests the sons of AARON. 15 And the singers the sons of Asaph were in their place, ACCORDING to the commandment of David, and Asaph, and Heman, and Jeduthun the king's seer; and the porters waited at every gate; they might not depart from their service; for their brethren the Levites prepared for them. 16 So all the service of the LORD was prepared the same day, to keep the passover, and to offer burnt offerings upon the altar of the LORD, ACCORDING to the commandment of king Josiah. 26 Now the rest of the ACTS of Josiah, and his goodness, ACCORDING to that which was written in the law of the LORD, 2 CHRONICLES 36 8 Now the rest of the ACTS of Jehoiakim, and his abominations which he did, and that which was found in him, behold, they are written in the book of the kings of Israel and Judah: and Jehoiachin his son reigned in his stead. EZRA 6 9 And that which they have need of, both young bullocks, and rams, and lambs, for the burnt offerings of the God of heaven, wheat, salt, wine, and oil, ACCORDING to the appointment of the priests which are at Jerusalem, let it be given them day by day without fail: 13 Then Tatnai, governor on this side the river, Shetharboznai, and their companions, ACCORDING to that which Darius the king had sent, so they did speedily. 14 And the elders of the Jews builded, and they prospered through the prophesying of Haggai the prophet and Zechariah the son of Iddo. And they builded, and finished it, ACCORDING to the commandment of the God of Israel, and ACCORDING to the commandment of Cyrus, and Darius, and Artaxerxes king of Persia. 17 And offered at the dedication of this house of God an hundred bullocks, two hundred rams, four hundred lambs; and for a sin offering for all Israel, twelve he goats, ACCORDING to the number of the tribes of Israel. EZRA 7 5 The son of Abishua, the son of Phinehas, the son of Eleazar, the son of AARON the chief priest: 6 This Ezra went up from Babylon; and he was a ready scribe in the law of Moses, which the LORD God of Israel had given: and the king granted him all his request, ACCORDING to the hand of the LORD his God upon him. 9 For upon the first day of the first month began he to go up from Babylon, and on the first day of the fifth month came he to Jerusalem, ACCORDING to the good hand of his God upon him. 14 Forasmuch as thou art sent of the king, and of his seven counsellors, to enquire concerning Judah and Jerusalem, ACCORDING to the law of thy God which is in thine hand; EZRA 9 1 Now when these things were done, the princes came to me, saying, The people of Israel, and the priests, and the Levites, have not separated themselves from the people of the lands, doing ACCORDING to their abominations, even of the Canaanites, the Hittites, the Perizzites, the Jebusites, the Ammonites, the Moabites, the Egyptians, and the Amorites. EZRA 10 3 Now therefore let us make a covenant with our God to put away all the wives, and such as are born of them, ACCORDING to the counsel of my lord, and of those that tremble at the commandment of our God; and let it be done ACCORDING to the law. 5 Then arose Ezra, and made the chief priests, the Levites, and all Israel, to swear that they should do ACCORDING to this word. And they sware. 8 And that whosoever would not come within three days, ACCORDING to the counsel of the princes and the elders, all his substance should be forfeited, and himself separated from the congregation of those that had been carried away. NEHEMIAH 2 8 And a letter unto Asaph the keeper of the king's forest, that he may give me timber to make beams for the gates of the palace which appertained to the house, and for the wall of the city, and for the house that I shall enter into. And the king granted me, ACCORDING to the good hand of my God upon me. NEHEMIAH 5 12 Then said they, We will restore them, and will require nothing of them; so will we do as thou sayest. Then I called the priests, and took an oath of them, that they should do ACCORDING to this promise. 13 Also I shook my lap, and said, So God shake out every man from his house, and from his labour, that performeth not this promise, even thus be he shaken out, and emptied. And all the congregation said, Amen, and praised the LORD. And the people did ACCORDING to this promise. 19 Think upon me, my God, for good, ACCORDING to all that I have done for this people. NEHEMIAH 6 6 Wherein was written, It is reported among the heathen, and Gashmu saith it, that thou and the Jews think to rebel: for which cause thou buildest the wall, that thou mayest be their king, ACCORDING to these words. 7 And thou hast also appointed prophets to preach of thee at Jerusalem, saying, There is a king in Judah: and now shall it be reported to the king ACCORDING to these words. Come now therefore, and let us take counsel together. 14 My God, think thou upon Tobiah and Sanballat ACCORDING to these their works, and on the prophetess Noadiah, and the rest of the prophets, that would have put me in fear. NEHEMIAH 8 18 Also day by day, from the first day unto the last day, he read in the book of the law of God. And they kept the feast seven days; and on the eighth day was a solemn assembly, ACCORDING unto the manner. NEHEMIAH 9 27 Therefore thou deliveredst them into the hand of their enemies, who vexed them: and in the time of their trouble, when they cried unto thee, thou heardest them from heaven; and ACCORDING to thy manifold mercies thou gavest them saviours, who saved them out of the hand of their enemies. 28 But after they had rest, they did evil again before thee: therefore leftest thou them in the land of their enemies, so that they had the dominion over them: yet when they returned, and cried unto thee, thou heardest them from heaven; and many times didst thou deliver them ACCORDING to thy mercies; --MORE-- |
