RUTH 3
1 Then Naomi her mother in law said unto her, My daughter, shall I not seek rest FOR thee, that it may be well with thee?
9 And he said, Who art thou? And she answered, I am Ruth thine handmaid: spread therefore thy skirt over thine handmaid; FOR thou art a near kinsman.
10 And he said, Blessed be thou of the LORD, my daughter: FOR thou hast shewed more kindness in the latter end than at the beginning, inasmuch as thou followedst not young men, whether poor or rich.
11 And now, my daughter, fear not; I will do to thee all that thou requirest: FOR all the city of my people doth know that thou art a virtuous woman.
17 And she said, These six measures of barley gave he me; FOR he said to me, Go not empty unto thy mother in law.

RUTH 4
4 And I thought to advertise thee, saying, Buy it before the inhabitants, and before the elders of my people. If thou wilt redeem it, redeem it: but if thou wilt not redeem it, then tell me, that I may know: FOR there is none to redeem it beside thee; and I am after thee. And he said, I will redeem it.
6 And the kinsman said, I cannot redeem it FOR myself, lest I mar mine own inheritance: redeem thou my right to thyself; FOR I cannot redeem it.
7 Now this was the manner in former time in Israel concerning redeeming and concerning changing, FOR to confirm all things; a man plucked off his shoe, and gave it to his neighbour: and this was a testimony in Israel.

9 Therefore Eli said unto Samuel, Go, lie down: and it shall be, if he call thee, that thou shalt say, Speak, LORD; FOR thy servant heareth. So Samuel went and lay down in his place.
10 And the LORD came, and stood, and called as at other times, Samuel, Samuel. Then Samuel answered, Speak; FOR thy servant heareth.
13 FOR I have told him that I will judge his house FOR ever FOR the iniquity which he knoweth; because his sons made themselves vile, and he restrained them not.
14 And therefore I have sworn unto the house of Eli, that the iniquity of Eli's house shall not be purged with sacrifice nor offering FOR ever.

19 And his daughter in law, Phinehas' wife, was with child, near to be delivered: and when she heard the tidings that the ark of God was taken, and that her father in law and her husband were dead, she bowed herself and travailed; FOR her pains came upon her.
20 And about the time of her death the women that stood by her said unto her, Fear not; FOR thou hast born a son. But she answered not, neither did she regard it.
22 And she said, The glory is departed from Israel: FOR the ark of God is taken.

7 And when the men of Ashdod saw that it was so, they said, The ark of the God of Israel shall not abide with us: FOR his hand is sore upon us, and upon Dagon our god.
