NUMBERS 20 2 And there was no water for the congregation: and they gathered themselves together against Moses and against AARON. 6 And Moses and AARON went from the presence of the assembly unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, and they fell upon their faces: and the glory of the LORD appeared unto them. 8 Take the rod, and gather thou the assembly together, thou, and AARON thy brother, and speak ye unto the rock before their eyes; and it shall give forth his water, and thou shalt bring forth to them water out of the rock: so thou shalt give the congregation and their beasts drink. 10 And Moses and AARON gathered the congregation together before the rock, and he said unto them, Hear now, ye rebels; must we fetch you water out of this rock? 12 And the LORD spake unto Moses and AARON, Because ye believed me not, to sanctify me in the eyes of the children of Israel, therefore ye shall not bring this congregation into the land which I have given them. 23 And the LORD spake unto Moses and AARON in mount Hor, by the coast of the land of Edom, saying, 24 AARON shall be gathered unto his people: for he shall not enter into the land which I have given unto the children of Israel, because ye rebelled against my word at the water of Meribah. 25 Take AARON and Eleazar his son, and bring them up unto mount Hor: 26 And strip AARON of his garments, and put them upon Eleazar his son: and AARON shall be gathered unto his people, and shall die there. 28 And Moses stripped AARON of his garments, and put them upon Eleazar his son; and AARON died there in the top of the mount: and Moses and Eleazar came down from the mount. 29 And when all the congregation saw that AARON was dead, they mourned for AARON thirty days, even all the house of Israel. NUMBERS 25 7 And when Phinehas, the son of Eleazar, the son of AARON the priest, saw it, he rose up from among the congregation, and took a javelin in his hand; 11 Phinehas, the son of Eleazar, the son of AARON the priest, hath turned my wrath away from the children of Israel, while he was zealous for my sake among them, that I consumed not the children of Israel in my jealousy. NUMBERS 26 1 And it came to pass after the plague, that the LORD spake unto Moses and unto Eleazar the son of AARON the priest, saying, 9 And the sons of Eliab; Nemuel, and Dathan, and Abiram. This is that Dathan and Abiram, which were famous in the congregation, who strove against Moses and against AARON in the company of Korah, when they strove against the LORD: 59 And the name of Amram's wife was Jochebed, the daughter of Levi, whom her mother bare to Levi in Egypt: and she bare unto Amram AARON and Moses, and Miriam their sister. 60 And unto AARON was born Nadab, and Abihu, Eleazar, and Ithamar. 64 But among these there was not a man of them whom Moses and AARON the priest numbered, when they numbered the children of Israel in the wilderness of Sinai. NUMBERS 27 13 And when thou hast seen it, thou also shalt be gathered unto thy people, as AARON thy brother was gathered. NUMBERS 33 1 These are the journeys of the children of Israel, which went forth out of the land of Egypt with their armies under the hand of Moses and AARON. 38 And AARON the priest went up into mount Hor at the commandment of the LORD, and died there, in the fortieth year after the children of Israel were come out of the land of Egypt, in the first day of the fifth month. 39 And AARON was an hundred and twenty and three years old when he died in mount Hor. DEUTERONOMY 9 20 And the LORD was very angry with AARON to have destroyed him: and I prayed for AARON also the same time. DEUTERONOMY 10 6 And the children of Israel took their journey from Beeroth of the children of Jaakan to Mosera: there AARON died, and there he was buried; and Eleazar his son ministered in the priest's office in his stead. DEUTERONOMY 32 19 And when the LORD saw it, he ABHORRED them, because of the provoking of his sons, and of his daughters. 50 And die in the mount whither thou goest up, and be gathered unto thy people; as AARON thy brother died in mount Hor, and was gathered unto his people: JOSHUA 21 4 And the lot came out for the families of the Kohathites: and the children of AARON the priest, which were of the Levites, had by lot out of the tribe of Judah, and out of the tribe of Simeon, and out of the tribe of Benjamin, thirteen cities. 10 Which the children of AARON, being of the families of the Kohathites, who were of the children of Levi, had: for theirs was the first lot. 13 Thus they gave to the children of AARON the priest Hebron with her suburbs, to be a city of refuge for the slayer; and Libnah with her suburbs, 19 All the cities of the children of AARON, the priests, were thirteen cities with their suburbs. JOSHUA 24 5 I sent Moses also and AARON, and I plagued Egypt, according to that which I did among them: and afterward I brought you out. 33 And Eleazar the son of AARON died; and they buried him in a hill that pertained to Phinehas his son, which was given him in mount Ephraim. JUDGES 20 28 And Phinehas, the son of Eleazar, the son of AARON, stood before it in those days,) saying, Shall I yet again go out to battle against the children of Benjamin my brother, or shall I cease? And the LORD said, Go up; for to morrow I will deliver them into thine hand. 1 SAMUEL 2 17 Wherefore the sin of the young men was very great before the LORD: for men ABHORRED the offering of the LORD. 1 SAMUEL 12 6 And Samuel said unto the people, It is the LORD that advanced Moses and AARON, and that brought your fathers up out of the land of Egypt. 8 When Jacob was come into Egypt, and your fathers cried unto the LORD, then the LORD sent Moses and AARON, which brought forth your fathers out of Egypt, and made them dwell in this place. 1 SAMUEL 14 50 And the name of Saul's wife was Ahinoam, the daughter of Ahimaaz: and the name of the captain of his host was ABNER, the son of Ner, Saul's uncle. 51 And Kish was the father of Saul; and Ner the father of ABNER was the son of Abiel. 1 SAMUEL 17 55 And when Saul saw David go forth against the Philistine, he said unto ABNER, the captain of the host, ABNER, whose son is this youth? And ABNER said, As thy soul liveth, O king, I cannot tell. 57 And as David returned from the slaughter of the Philistine, ABNER took him, and brought him before Saul with the head of the Philistine in his hand. 1 SAMUEL 20 25 And the king sat upon his seat, as at other times, even upon a seat by the wall: and Jonathan arose, and ABNER sat by Saul's side, and David's place was empty. 1 SAMUEL 26 5 And David arose, and came to the place where Saul had pitched: and David beheld the place where Saul lay, and ABNER the son of Ner, the captain of his host: and Saul lay in the trench, and the people pitched round about him. 7 So David and Abishai came to the people by night: and, behold, Saul lay sleeping within the trench, and his spear stuck in the ground at his bolster: but ABNER and the people lay round about him. 14 And David cried to the people, and to ABNER the son of Ner, saying, Answerest thou not, ABNER? Then ABNER answered and said, Who art thou that criest to the king? 15 And David said to ABNER, Art not thou a valiant man? and who is like to thee in Israel? wherefore then hast thou not kept thy lord the king? for there came one of the people in to destroy the king thy lord. 2 SAMUEL 2 8 But ABNER the son of Ner, captain of Saul's host, took Ishbosheth the son of Saul, and brought him over to Mahanaim; 12 And ABNER the son of Ner, and the servants of Ishbosheth the son of Saul, went out from Mahanaim to Gibeon. 14 And ABNER said to Joab, Let the young men now arise, and play before us. And Joab said, Let them arise. 17 And there was a very sore battle that day; and ABNER was beaten, and the men of Israel, before the servants of David. 19 And Asahel pursued after ABNER; and in going he turned not to the right hand nor to the left from following ABNER. 20 Then ABNER looked behind him, and said, Art thou Asahel? And he answered, I am. 21 And ABNER said to him, Turn thee aside to thy right hand or to thy left, and lay thee hold on one of the young men, and take thee his armour. But Asahel would not turn aside from following of him. 22 And ABNER said again to Asahel, Turn thee aside from following me: wherefore should I smite thee to the ground? how then should I hold up my face to Joab thy brother? 23 Howbeit he refused to turn aside: wherefore ABNER with the hinder end of the spear smote him under the fifth rib, that the spear came out behind him; and he fell down there, and died in the same place: and it came to pass, that as many as came to the place where Asahel fell down and died stood still. 24 Joab also and Abishai pursued after ABNER: and the sun went down when they were come to the hill of Ammah, that lieth before Giah by the way of the wilderness of Gibeon. 25 And the children of Benjamin gathered themselves together after ABNER, and became one troop, and stood on the top of an hill. 26 Then ABNER called to Joab, and said, Shall the sword devour for ever? knowest thou not that it will be bitterness in the latter end? how long shall it be then, ere thou bid the people return from following their brethren? 29 And ABNER and his men walked all that night through the plain, and passed over Jordan, and went through all Bithron, and they came to Mahanaim. 30 And Joab returned from following ABNER: and when he had gathered all the people together, there lacked of David's servants nineteen men and Asahel. 31 But the servants of David had smitten of Benjamin, and of ABNER's men, so that three hundred and threescore men died. --MORE-- |
