2 TIMOTHY 3
2 FOR men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,
5 Having A form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.
6 FOR of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts,
9 But they shall proceed no further: FOR their folly shall be manifest unto all men, as their's also was.
15 And that from A child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.
16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable FOR doctrine, FOR reproof, FOR correction, FOR instruction in righteousness:
2 TIMOTHY 4
3 FOR the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears;
6 FOR I am now ready to be offered, and the time of my departure is at hand.
7 I have fought A good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith:
8 Henceforth there is laid up FOR me A crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.
10 FOR Demas hath forsaken me, having loved this present world, and is departed unto Thessalonica; Crescens to Galatia, Titus unto Dalmatia.
11 Only Luke is with me. Take Mark, and bring him with thee: FOR he is profitable to me FOR the ministry.
15 Of whom be thou ware also; FOR he hath greatly withstood our words.
18 And the Lord shall deliver me from every evil work, and will preserve me unto his heavenly kingdom: to whom be glory FOR ever and ever. Amen.
TITUS 1
1 Paul, A servant of God, and an apostle of Jesus Christ, according to the faith of God's elect, and the acknowledging of the truth which is after godliness;
5 FOR this cause left I thee in Crete, that thou shouldest set in order the things that are wanting, and ordain elders in every city, as I had appointed thee:
7 FOR A bishop must be blameless, as the steward of God; not selfwilled, not soon angry, not given to wine, no striker, not given to filthy lucre;
8 But A lover of hospitality, A lover of good men, sober, just, holy, temperate;
10 FOR there are many unruly and vain talkers and deceivers, specially they of the circumcision:
11 Whose mouths must be stopped, who subvert whole houses, teaching things which they ought not, FOR filthy lucre's sake.
12 One of themselves, even A prophet of their own, said, The Cretians are alway liars, evil beasts, slow bellies.
TITUS 2
7 In all things shewing thyself A pattern of good works: in doctrine shewing uncorruptness, gravity, sincerity,
11 FOR the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men,
13 Looking FOR that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ;
14 Who gave himself FOR us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself A peculiar people, zealous of good works.
TITUS 3
3 FOR we ourselves also were sometimes foolish, disobedient, deceived, serving divers lusts and pleasures, living in malice and envy, hateful, and hating one another.
8 This is A faithful saying, and these things I will that thou affirm constantly, that they which have believed in God might be careful to maintain good works. These things are good and profitable unto men.
9 But avoid foolish questions, and genealogies, and contentions, and strivings about the law; FOR they are unprofitable and vain.
10 A man that is an heretick after the first and second admonition reject;
12 When I shall send Artemas unto thee, or Tychicus, be diligent to come unto me to Nicopolis: FOR I have determined there to winter.
14 And let our's also learn to maintain good works FOR necessary uses, that they be not unfruitful.
PHILEMON 1
1 Paul, A prisoner of Jesus Christ, and Timothy our brother, unto Philemon our dearly beloved, and fellowlabourer,
7 FOR we have great joy and consolation in thy love, because the bowels of the saints are refreshed by thee, brother.
9 Yet FOR love's sake I rather beseech thee, being such an one as Paul the aged, and now also A prisoner of Jesus Christ.
10 I beseech thee FOR my son Onesimus, whom I have begotten in my bonds:
15 FOR perhaps he therefore departed FOR A season, that thou shouldest receive him FOR ever;
16 Not now as A servant, but above A servant, A brother beloved, specially to me, but how much more unto thee, both in the flesh, and in the Lord?
17 If thou count me therefore A partner, receive him as myself.
22 But withal prepare me also A lodging: FOR I trust that through your prayers I shall be given unto you.
HEBREWS 1
4 Being made so much better than the angels, as he hath by inheritance obtained A more excellent name than they.
5 FOR unto which of the angels said he at any time, Thou art my Son, this day have I begotten thee? And again, I will be to him A Father, and he shall be to me A Son?
7 And of the angels he saith, Who maketh his angels spirits, and his ministers A flame of fire.
8 But unto the Son he saith, Thy throne, O God, is FOR ever and ever: A sceptre of righteousness is the sceptre of thy kingdom.
11 They shall perish; but thou remainest; and they all shall wax old as doth A garment;
12 And as A vesture shalt thou fold them up, and they shall be changed: but thou art the same, and thy years shall not fail.
14 Are they not all ministering spirits, sent forth to minister FOR them who shall be heirs of salvation?
HEBREWS 2
2 FOR if the word spoken by angels was stedfast, and every transgression and disobedience received A just recompence of reward;
5 FOR unto the angels hath he not put in subjection the world to come, whereof we speak.
6 But one in A certain place testified, saying, What is man, that thou art mindful of him? or the son of man that thou visitest him?
7 Thou madest him A little lower than the angels; thou crownedst him with glory and honour, and didst set him over the works of thy hands:
8 Thou hast put all things in subjection under his feet. FOR in that he put all in subjection under him, he left nothing that is not put under him. But now we see not yet all things put under him.
9 But we see Jesus, who was made A little lower than the angels FOR the suffering of death, crowned with glory and honour; that he by the grace of God should taste death FOR every man.
10 FOR it became him, FOR whom are all things, and by whom are all things, in bringing many sons unto glory, to make the captain of their salvation perfect through sufferings.
11 FOR both he that sanctifieth and they who are sanctified are all of one: FOR which cause he is not ashamed to call them brethren,
16 FOR verily he took not on him the nature of angels; but he took on him the seed of Abraham.
17 Wherefore in all things it behoved him to be made like unto his brethren, that he might be A merciful and faithful high priest in things pertaining to God, to make reconciliation FOR the sins of the people.
18 FOR in that he himself hath suffered being tempted, he is able to succour them that are tempted.
