EXODUS 6 1 Then the LORD said unto Moses, Now shalt thou see what I will do to Pharaoh: for with A strong hand shall he let them go, and with A strong hand shall he drive them out of his land. 6 Wherefore say unto the children of Israel, I am the LORD, and I will bring you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians, and I will rid you out of their bondage, and I will redeem you with A stretched out arm, and with great judgments: 7 And I will take you to me for A people, and I will be to you A God: and ye shall know that I am the LORD your God, which bringeth you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians. 13 And the LORD spake unto Moses and unto AARON, and gave them A charge unto the children of Israel, and unto Pharaoh king of Egypt, to bring the children of Israel out of the land of Egypt. 15 And the sons of Simeon; Jemuel, and Jamin, and Ohad, and Jachin, and Zohar, and Shaul the son of A Canaanitish woman: these are the families of Simeon. 20 And Amram took him Jochebed his father's sister to wife; and she bare him AARON and Moses: and the years of the life of Amram were an hundred and thirty and seven years. 23 And AARON took him Elisheba, daughter of Amminadab, sister of Naashon, to wife; and she bare him Nadab, and Abihu, Eleazar, and Ithamar. 25 And Eleazar AARON's son took him one of the daughters of Putiel to wife; and she bare him Phinehas: these are the heads of the fathers of the Levites according to their families. 26 These are that AARON and Moses, to whom the LORD said, Bring out the children of Israel from the land of Egypt according to their armies. 27 These are they which spake to Pharaoh king of Egypt, to bring out the children of Israel from Egypt: these are that Moses and AARON. EXODUS 7 1 And the LORD said unto Moses, See, I have made thee A god to Pharaoh: and AARON thy brother shall be thy prophet. 2 Thou shalt speak all that I command thee: and AARON thy brother shall speak unto Pharaoh, that he send the children of Israel out of his land. 6 And Moses and AARON did as the LORD commanded them, so did they. 7 And Moses was fourscore years old, and AARON fourscore and three years old, when they spake unto Pharaoh. 8 And the LORD spake unto Moses and unto AARON, saying, 9 When Pharaoh shall speak unto you, saying, Shew A miracle for you: then thou shalt say unto AARON, Take thy rod, and cast it before Pharaoh, and it shall become A serpent. 10 And Moses and AARON went in unto Pharaoh, and they did so as the LORD had commanded: and AARON cast down his rod before Pharaoh, and before his servants, and it became A serpent. 12 For they cast down every man his rod, and they became serpents: but AARON's rod swallowed up their rods. 15 Get thee unto Pharaoh in the morning; lo, he goeth out unto the water; and thou shalt stand by the river's brink against he come; and the rod which was turned to A serpent shalt thou take in thine hand. 19 And the LORD spake unto Moses, Say unto AARON, Take thy rod, and stretch out thine hand upon the waters of Egypt, upon their streams, upon their rivers, and upon their ponds, and upon all their pools of water, that they may become blood; and that there may be blood throughout all the land of Egypt, both in vessels of wood, and in vessels of stone. 20 And Moses and AARON did so, as the LORD commanded; and he lifted up the rod, and smote the waters that were in the river, in the sight of Pharaoh, and in the sight of his servants; and all the waters that were in the river were turned to blood. EXODUS 8 5 And the LORD spake unto Moses, Say unto AARON, Stretch forth thine hand with thy rod over the streams, over the rivers, and over the ponds, and cause frogs to come up upon the land of Egypt. 6 And AARON stretched out his hand over the waters of Egypt; and the frogs came up, and covered the land of Egypt. 8 Then Pharaoh called for Moses and AARON, and said, Intreat the LORD, that he may take away the frogs from me, and from my people; and I will let the people go, that they may do sacrifice unto the LORD. 12 And Moses and AARON went out from Pharaoh: and Moses cried unto the LORD because of the frogs which he had brought against Pharaoh. 16 And the LORD said unto Moses, Say unto AARON, Stretch out thy rod, and smite the dust of the land, that it may become lice throughout all the land of Egypt. 17 And they did so; for AARON stretched out his hand with his rod, and smote the dust of the earth, and it became lice in man, and in beast; all the dust of the land became lice throughout all the land of Egypt. 23 And I will put A division between my people and thy people: to morrow shall this sign be. 24 And the LORD did so; and there came A grievous swarm of flies into the house of Pharaoh, and into his servants' houses, and into all the land of Egypt: the land was corrupted by reason of the swarm of flies. 25 And Pharaoh called for Moses and for AARON, and said, Go ye, sacrifice to your God in the land. EXODUS 9 3 Behold, the hand of the LORD is upon thy cattle which is in the field, upon the horses, upon the asses, upon the camels, upon the oxen, and upon the sheep: there shall be A very grievous murrain. 5 And the LORD appointed A set time, saying, To morrow the LORD shall do this thing in the land. 8 And the LORD said unto Moses and unto AARON, Take to you handfuls of ashes of the furnace, and let Moses sprinkle it toward the heaven in the sight of Pharaoh. 9 And it shall become small dust in all the land of Egypt, and shall be A boil breaking forth with blains upon man, and upon beast, throughout all the land of Egypt. 10 And they took ashes of the furnace, and stood before Pharaoh; and Moses sprinkled it up toward heaven; and it became A boil breaking forth with blains upon man, and upon beast. 18 Behold, to morrow about this time I will cause it to rain A very grievous hail, such as hath not been in Egypt since the foundation thereof even until now. 24 So there was hail, and fire mingled with the hail, very grievous, such as there was none like it in all the land of Egypt since it became A nation. 27 And Pharaoh sent, and called for Moses and AARON, and said unto them, I have sinned this time: the LORD is righteous, and I and my people are wicked. EXODUS 10 3 And Moses and AARON came in unto Pharaoh, and said unto him, Thus saith the LORD God of the Hebrews, How long wilt thou refuse to humble thyself before me? let my people go, that they may serve me. 7 And Pharaoh's servants said unto him, How long shall this man be A snare unto us? let the men go, that they may serve the LORD their God: knowest thou not yet that Egypt is destroyed? 8 And Moses and AARON were brought again unto Pharaoh: and he said unto them, Go, serve the LORD your God: but who are they that shall go? 9 And Moses said, We will go with our young and with our old, with our sons and with our daughters, with our flocks and with our herds will we go; for we must hold A feast unto the LORD. 16 Then Pharaoh called for Moses and AARON in haste; and he said, I have sinned against the LORD your God, and against you. 19 And the LORD turned A mighty strong west wind, which took away the locusts, and cast them into the Red sea; there remained not one locust in all the coasts of Egypt. 22 And Moses stretched forth his hand toward heaven; and there was A thick darkness in all the land of Egypt three days: EXODUS 11 6 And there shall be A great cry throughout all the land of Egypt, such as there was none like it, nor shall be like it any more. 7 But against any of the children of Israel shall not A dog move his tongue, against man or beast: that ye may know how that the LORD doth put A difference between the Egyptians and Israel. 8 And all these thy servants shall come down unto me, and bow down themselves unto me, saying, Get thee out, and all the people that follow thee: and after that I will go out. And he went out from Pharaoh in A great anger. 10 And Moses and AARON did all these wonders before Pharaoh: and the LORD hardened Pharaoh's heart, so that he would not let the children of Israel go out of his land. EXODUS 12 1 And the LORD spake unto Moses and AARON in the land of Egypt saying, 3 Speak ye unto all the congregation of Israel, saying, In the tenth day of this month they shall take to them every man A lamb, according to the house of their fathers, A lamb for an house: 5 Your lamb shall be without blemish, A male of the first year: ye shall take it out from the sheep, or from the goats: 13 And the blood shall be to you for A token upon the houses where ye are: and when I see the blood, I will pass over you, and the plague shall not be upon you to destroy you, when I smite the land of Egypt. 14 And this day shall be unto you for A memorial; and ye shall keep it A feast to the LORD throughout your generations; ye shall keep it A feast by an ordinance for ever. 19 Seven days shall there be no leaven found in your houses: for whosoever eateth that which is leavened, even that soul shall be cut off from the congregation of Israel, whether he be A stranger, or born in the land. 21 Then Moses called for all the elders of Israel, and said unto them, Draw out and take you A lamb according to your families, and kill the passover. 22 And ye shall take A bunch of hyssop, and dip it in the blood that is in the bason, and strike the lintel and the two side posts with the blood that is in the bason; and none of you shall go out at the door of his house until the morning. 28 And the children of Israel went away, and did as the LORD had commanded Moses and AARON, so did they. 30 And Pharaoh rose up in the night, he, and all his servants, and all the Egyptians; and there was A great cry in Egypt; for there was not A house where there was not one dead. 31 And he called for Moses and AARON by night, and said, Rise up, and get you forth from among my people, both ye and the children of Israel; and go, serve the LORD, as ye have said. 38 And A mixed multitude went up also with them; and flocks, and herds, even very much cattle. 42 It is A night to be much observed unto the LORD for bringing them out from the land of Egypt: this is that night of the LORD to be observed of all the children of Israel in their generations. 43 And the LORD said unto Moses and AARON, This is the ordinance of the passover: There shall no stranger eat thereof: 45 A foreigner and an hired servant shall not eat thereof. 46 In one house shall it be eaten; thou shalt not carry forth ought of the flesh abroad out of the house; neither shall ye break A bone thereof. 48 And when A stranger shall sojourn with thee, and will keep the passover to the LORD, let all his males be circumcised, and then let him come near and keep it; and he shall be as one that is born in the land: for no uncircumcised person shall eat thereof. 50 Thus did all the children of Israel; as the LORD commanded Moses and AARON, so did they. --MORE-- |
