PROVERBS 26 1 As snow in summer, and as rain in harvest, so honour is not seemly for a FOOL. 3 A whip for the horse, a bridle for the ass, and a rod for the FOOL's back. 4 Answer not a FOOL according to his folly, lest thou also be like unto him. 5 Answer a FOOL according to his folly, lest he be wise in his own conceit. 6 He that sendeth a message by the hand of a FOOL cutteth off the feet, and drinketh damage. 8 As he that bindeth a stone in a sling, so is he that giveth honour to a FOOL. 10 The great God that formed all things both rewardeth the FOOL, and rewardeth transgressors. 11 As a dog returneth to his vomit, so a FOOL returneth to his folly. 12 Seest thou a man wise in his own conceit? there is more hope of a FOOL than of him. PROVERBS 27 1 Boast not thyself of to morrow; for thou knowest not what a day may bring FORTH. 3 A stone is heavy, and the sand weighty; but a FOOL's wrath is heavier than them both. 22 Though thou shouldest bray a FOOL in a mortar among wheat with a pestle, yet will not his foolishness depart from him. And how dieth the wise man? as the FOOL. 19 And who knoweth whether he shall be a wise man or a FOOL? yet shall he have rule over all my labour wherein I have laboured, and wherein I have shewed myself wise under the sun. This is also vanity. ECCLESIASTES 4 5 The FOOL foldeth his hands together, and eateth his own FLESH. ECCLESIASTES 5 3 For a dream cometh through the multitude of business; and a FOOL's voice is known by multitude of words. 6 Suffer not thy mouth to cause thy FLESH to sin; neither say thou before the angel, that it was an error: wherefore should God be angry at thy voice, and destroy the work of thine hands? 15 As he came FORTH of his mother's womb, naked shall he return to go as he came, and shall take nothing of his labour, which he may carry away in his hand. ECCLESIASTES 6 8 For what hath the wise more than the FOOL? what hath the poor, that knoweth to walk before the living? ECCLESIASTES 7 6 For as the crackling of thorns under a pot, so is the laughter of the FOOL: this also is vanity. 18 It is good that thou shouldest take hold of this; yea, also from this withdraw not thine hand: for he that feareth God shall come FORTH of them all. ECCLESIASTES 10 1 Dead flies cause the ointment of the apothecary to send FORTH a stinking savour: so doth a little folly him that is in reputation for wisdom and honour. 2 A wise man's heart is at his right hand; but a FOOL's heart at his left. 3 Yea also, when he that is a FOOL walketh by the way, his wisdom faileth him, and he saith to every one that he is a FOOL. 12 The words of a wise man's mouth are gracious; but the lips of a FOOL will swallow up himself. 14 A FOOL also is full of words: a man cannot tell what shall be; and what shall be after him, who can tell him? ECCLESIASTES 11 10 Therefore remove sorrow from thy heart, and put away evil from thy FLESH: for childhood and youth are vanity. ECCLESIASTES 12 12 And further, by these, my son, be admonished: of making many books there is no end; and much study is a weariness of the FLESH. SONG OF SOLOMON 1 3 Because of the savour of thy good ointments thy name is as ointment poured FORTH, therefore do the virgins love thee. 8 If thou know not, O thou fairest among women, go thy way FORTH by the footsteps of the flock, and feed thy kids beside the shepherds' tents. 12 While the king sitteth at his table, my spikenard sendeth FORTH the smell thereof. SONG OF SOLOMON 2 9 My beloved is like a roe or a young hart: behold, he standeth behind our wall, he looketh FORTH at the windows, shewing himself through the lattice. 13 The fig tree putteth FORTH her green figs, and the vines with the tender grape give a good smell. Arise, my love, my fair one, and come away.
