GALATIANS 5 13 For, brethren, ye have been called unto liberty; only use not liberty for an occasion to the FLESH, but by love serve one another. 16 This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the FLESH. 17 For the FLESH lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the FLESH: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would. 19 Now the works of the FLESH are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, 24 And they that are Christ's have crucified the FLESH with the affections and lusts. GALATIANS 6 8 For he that soweth to his FLESH shall of the FLESH reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting. 12 As many as desire to make a fair shew in the FLESH, they constrain you to be circumcised; only lest they should suffer persecution for the cross of Christ. 13 For neither they themselves who are circumcised keep the law; but desire to have you circumcised, that they may glory in your FLESH. EPHESIANS 2 3 Among whom also we all had our conversation in times past in the lusts of our FLESH, fulfilling the desires of the FLESH and of the mind; and were by nature the children of wrath, even as others. 11 Wherefore remember, that ye being in time past Gentiles in the FLESH, who are called Uncircumcision by that which is called the Circumcision in the FLESH made by hands; 15 Having abolished in his FLESH the enmity, even the law of commandments contained in ordinances; for to make in himself of twain one new man, so making peace; EPHESIANS 5 29 For no man ever yet hated his own FLESH; but nourisheth and cherisheth it, even as the Lord the church: 30 For we are members of his body, of his FLESH, and of his bones. 31 For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and shall be joined unto his wife, and they two shall be one FLESH. EPHESIANS 6 5 Servants, be obedient to them that are your masters according to the FLESH, with fear and trembling, in singleness of your heart, as unto Christ; 12 For we wrestle not against FLESH and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. If any other man thinketh that he hath whereof he might trust in the FLESH, I more: 13 Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching FORTH unto those things which are before, COLOSSIANS 1 6 Which is come unto you, as it is in all the world; and bringeth FORTH fruit, as it doth also in you, since the day ye heard of it, and knew the grace of God in truth: 22 In the body of his FLESH through death, to present you holy and unblameable and unreproveable in his sight: 24 Who now rejoice in my sufferings for you, and fill up that which is behind of the afflictions of Christ in my FLESH for his body's sake, which is the church: COLOSSIANS 2 1 For I would that ye knew what great conflict I have for you, and for them at Laodicea, and for as many as have not seen my face in the FLESH; 5 For though I be absent in the FLESH, yet am I with you in the spirit, joying and beholding your order, and the stedfastness of your faith in Christ. 11 In whom also ye are circumcised with the circumcision made without hands, in putting off the body of the sins of the FLESH by the circumcision of Christ: 13 And you, being dead in your sins and the uncircumcision of your FLESH, hath he quickened together with him, having forgiven you all trespasses; 23 Which things have indeed a shew of wisdom in will worship, and humility, and neglecting of the body: not in any honour to the satisfying of the FLESH. --MORE-- |
