HEBREWS 11
2 For by it the elders obtained A good report.
4 By faith Abel offered unto God A more excellent sacrifice than Cain, by which he obtained witness that he was righteous, God testifying of his gifts: and by it he being dead yet speaketh.
6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is A rewarder of them that diligently seek him.
8 By faith Abraham, when he was called to go out into A place which he should after receive for an inheritance, obeyed; and he went out, not knowing whither he went.
9 By faith he sojourned in the land of promise, as in A strange country, dwelling in tabernacles with Isaac and Jacob, the heirs with him of the same promise:
10 For he looked for A city which hath foundations, whose builder and maker is God.
11 Through faith also Sara herself received strength to conceive seed, and was delivered of A child when she was past age, because she judged him faithful who had promised.
14 For they that say such things declare plainly that they seek A country.
16 But now they desire A better country, that is, an heavenly: wherefore God is not ashamed to be called their God: for he hath prepared for them A city.
19 Accounting that God was able to raise him up, even from the dead; from whence also he received him in A figure.
21 By faith Jacob, when he was A dying, blessed both the sons of Joseph; and worshipped, leaning upon the top of his staff.
23 By faith Moses, when he was born, was hid three months of his parents, because they saw he was A proper child; and they were not afraid of the king's commandment.
25 Choosing rather to suffer affliction with the people of God, than to enjoy the pleasures of sin for A season;
35 Women received their dead raised to life again: and others were tortured, not accepting deliverance; that they might obtain A better resurrection:
39 And these all, having obtained A good report through faith, received not the promise:
HEBREWS 12
1 Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great A cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us,
10 For they verily for A few days chastened us after their own pleasure; but he for our profit, that we might be partakers of his holiness.
19 And the sound of A trumpet, and the voice of words; which voice they that heard intreated that the word should not be spoken to them any more:
20 (For they could not endure that which was commanded, And if so much as A beast touch the mountain, it shall be stoned, or thrust through with A dart:
28 Wherefore we receiving A kingdom which cannot be moved, let us have grace, whereby we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear:
29 For our God is A consuming fire.
HEBREWS 13
9 Be not carried about with divers and strange doctrines. For it is A good thing that the heart be established with grace; not with meats, which have not profited them that have been occupied therein.
18 Pray for us: for we trust we have A good conscience, in all things willing to live honestly.
22 And I beseech you, brethren, suffer the word of exhortation: for I have written A letter unto you in few words.
JAMES 1
1 James, A servant of God and of the Lord Jesus Christ, to the twelve tribes which are scattered abroad, greeting.
6 But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like A wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed.
8 A double minded man is unstable in all his ways.
11 For the sun is no sooner risen with A burning heat, but it withereth the grass, and the flower thereof falleth, and the grace of the fashion of it perisheth: so also shall the rich man fade away in his ways.
18 Of his own will begat he us with the word of truth, that we should be A kind of firstfruits of his creatures.
23 For if any be A hearer of the word, and not A doer, he is like unto A man beholding his natural face in A glass:
25 But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein, he being not A forgetful hearer, but A doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed.
JAMES 2
2 For if there come unto your assembly A man with A gold ring, in goodly apparel, and there come in also A poor man in vile raiment;
3 And ye have respect to him that weareth the gay clothing, and say unto him, Sit thou here in A good place; and say to the poor, Stand thou there, or sit here under my footstool:
11 For he that said, Do not commit adultery, said also, Do not kill. Now if thou commit no adultery, yet if thou kill, thou art become A transgressor of the law.
14 What doth it profit, my brethren, though A man say he hath faith, and have not works? can faith save him?
15 If A brother or sister be naked, and destitute of daily food,
18 Yea, A man may say, Thou hast faith, and I have works: shew me thy faith without thy works, and I will shew thee my faith by my works.
24 Ye see then how that by works A man is justified, and not by faith only.
JAMES 3
2 For in many things we offend all. If any man offend not in word, the same is A perfect man, and able also to bridle the whole body.
4 Behold also the ships, which though they be so great, and are driven of fierce winds, yet are they turned about with A very small helm, whithersoever the governor listeth.
5 Even so the tongue is A little member, and boasteth great things. Behold, how great A matter A little fire kindleth!
6 And the tongue is A fire, A world of iniquity: so is the tongue among our members, that it defileth the whole body, and setteth on fire the course of nature; and it is set on fire of hell.
11 Doth A fountain send forth at the same place sweet water and bitter?
12 Can the fig tree, my brethren, bear olive berries? either A vine, figs? so can no fountain both yield salt water and fresh.
13 Who is A wise man and endued with knowledge among you? let him shew out of A good conversation his works with meekness of wisdom.
JAMES 4
4 Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be A friend of the world is the enemy of God.
7 Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will FLEE from you.
11 Speak not evil one of another, brethren. He that speaketh evil of his brother, and judgeth his brother, speaketh evil of the law, and judgeth the law: but if thou judge the law, thou art not A doer of the law, but A judge.
13 Go to now, ye that say, To day or to morrow we will go into such A city, and continue there A year, and buy and sell, and get gain:
14 Whereas ye know not what shall be on the morrow. For what is your life? It is even A vapour, that appeareth for A little time, and then vanisheth away.
