But David tarried still at Jerusalem. 2 SAMUEL 12 30 And he took their king's crown from off his head, the weight whereof was a talent of gold with the precious stones: and it was set on David's head. And he brought FORTH the spoil of the city in great abundance. 31 And he brought FORTH the people that were therein, and put them under saws, and under harrows of iron, and under axes of iron, and made them pass through the brick-kiln: and thus did he unto all the cities of the children of Ammon. So David and all the people returned unto Jerusalem. 2 SAMUEL 13 39 And the soul of king David longed to go FORTH unto Absalom: for he was comforted concerning Amnon, seeing he was dead. 2 SAMUEL 14 30 Therefore he said unto his servants, See, Joab's field is near mine, and he hath barley there; go and set it on FIRE. And Absalom's servants set the field on FIRE. 31 Then Joab arose, and came to Absalom unto his house, and said unto him, Wherefore have thy servants set my field on FIRE? 2 SAMUEL 15 5 And it was so, that when any man came nigh to him to do him obeisance, he put FORTH his hand, and took him, and kissed him. 16 And the king went FORTH, and all his household after him. And the king left ten women, which were concubines, to keep the house. 17 And the king went FORTH, and all the people after him, and tarried in a place that was far off. 2 SAMUEL 16 5 And when king David came to Bahurim, behold, thence came out a man of the family of the house of Saul, whose name was Shimei, the son of Gera: he came FORTH, and cursed still as he came. 11 And David said to Abishai, and to all his servants, Behold, my son, which came FORTH of my bowels, seeketh my life: how much more now may this Benjamite do it? let him alone, and let him curse; for the LORD hath bidden him. 2 SAMUEL 18 2 And David sent FORTH a third part of the people under the hand of Joab, and a third part under the hand of Abishai the son of Zeruiah, Joab's brother, and a third part under the hand of Ittai the Gittite. And the king said unto the people, I will surely go FORTH with you myself also. 3 But the people answered, Thou shalt not go FORTH: for if we flee away, they will not care for us; neither if half of us die, will they care for us: but now thou art worth ten thousand of us: therefore now it is better that thou succour us out of the city. 12 And the man said unto Joab, Though I should receive a thousand shekels of silver in mine hand, yet would I not put FORTH mine hand against the king's son: for in our hearing the king charged thee and Abishai and Ittai, saying, Beware that none touch the young man Absalom. 2 SAMUEL 19 7 Now therefore arise, go FORTH, and speak comfortably unto thy servants: for I swear by the LORD, if thou go not FORTH, there will not tarry one with thee this night: and that will be worse unto thee than all the evil that befell thee from thy youth until now. 2 SAMUEL 20 8 When they were at the great stone which is in Gibeon, Amasa went before them. And Joab's garment that he had put on was girded unto him, and upon it a girdle with a sword fastened upon his loins in the sheath thereof; and as he went FORTH it fell out. 2 SAMUEL 21 20 And there was yet a battle in Gath, where was a man of great stature, that had on every hand six fingers, and on every foot six toes, FOUR and twenty in number; and he also was born to the giant. 22 These FOUR were born to the giant in Gath, and fell by the hand of David, and by the hand of his servants. 2 SAMUEL 22 9 There went up a smoke out of his nostrils, and FIRE out of his mouth devoured: coals were kindled by it. 13 Through the brightness before him were coals of FIRE kindled. 20 He brought me FORTH also into a large place: he delivered me, because he delighted in me. 49 And that bringeth me FORTH from mine enemies: thou also hast lifted me up on high above them that rose up against me: thou hast delivered me from the violent man. 2 SAMUEL 23 7 But the man that shall touch them must be fenced with iron and the staff of a spear; and they shall be utterly burned with FIRE in the same place. 1 KINGS 2 30 And Benaiah came to the tabernacle of the LORD, and said unto him, Thus saith the king, Come FORTH. And he said, Nay; but I will die here. And Benaiah brought the king word again, saying, Thus said Joab, and thus he answered me. 36 And the king sent and called for Shimei, and said unto him, Build thee an house in Jerusalem, and dwell there, and go not FORTH thence any whither. 1 KINGS 6 1 And it came to pass in the FOUR hundred and eightieth year after the children of Israel were come out of the land of Egypt, in the fourth year of Solomon's reign over Israel, in the month Zif, which is the second month, that he began to build the house of the LORD. 27 And he set the cherubims within the inner house: and they stretched FORTH the wings of the cherubims, so that the wing of the one touched the one wall, and the wing of the other cherub touched the other wall; and their wings touched one another in the midst of the house. 1 KINGS 7 2 He built also the house of the forest of Lebanon; the length thereof was an hundred cubits, and the breadth thereof fifty cubits, and the height thereof thirty cubits, upon FOUR rows of cedar pillars, with cedar beams upon the pillars. 19 And the chapiters that were upon the top of the pillars were of lily work in the porch, FOUR cubits. 27 And he made ten bases of brass; FOUR cubits was the length of one base, and FOUR cubits the breadth thereof, and three cubits the height of it. 30 And every base had FOUR brasen wheels, and plates of brass: and the FOUR corners thereof had undersetters: under the laver were undersetters molten, at the side of every addition. 32 And under the borders were FOUR wheels; and the axletrees of the wheels were joined to the base: and the height of a wheel was a cubit and half a cubit. 34 And there were FOUR undersetters to the FOUR corners of one base: and the undersetters were of the very base itself. 38 Then made he ten lavers of brass: one laver contained forty baths: and every laver was FOUR cubits: and upon every one of the ten bases one laver. 42 And FOUR hundred pomegranates for the two networks, even two rows of pomegranates for one network, to cover the two bowls of the chapiters that were upon the pillars; 1 KINGS 8 7 For the cherubims spread FORTH their two wings over the place of the ark, and the cherubims covered the ark and the staves thereof above. 16 Since the day that I brought FORTH my people Israel out of Egypt, I chose no city out of all the tribes of Israel to build an house, that my name might be therein; but I chose David to be over my people Israel. 19 Nevertheless thou shalt not build the house; but thy son that shall come FORTH out of thy loins, he shall build the house unto my name. 22 And Solomon stood before the altar of the LORD in the presence of all the congregation of Israel, and spread FORTH his hands toward heaven: 38 What prayer and supplication soever be made by any man, or by all thy people Israel, which shall know every man the plague of his own heart, and spread FORTH his hands toward this house: 51 For they be thy people, and thine inheritance, which thou broughtest FORTH out of Egypt, from the midst of the furnace of iron: 1 KINGS 9 9 And they shall answer, Because they forsook the LORD their God, who brought FORTH their fathers out of the land of Egypt, and have taken hold upon other gods, and have worshipped them, and served them: therefore hath the LORD brought upon them all this evil. 16 For Pharaoh king of Egypt had gone up, and taken Gezer, and burnt it with FIRE, and slain the Canaanites that dwelt in the city, and given it for a present unto his daughter, Solomon's wife. 28 And they came to Ophir, and fetched from thence gold, FOUR hundred and twenty talents, and brought it to king Solomon. 1 KINGS 10 26 And Solomon gathered together chariots and horsemen: and he had a thousand and FOUR hundred chariots, and twelve thousand horsemen, whom he bestowed in the cities for chariots, and with the king at Jerusalem. 1 KINGS 13 4 And it came to pass, when king Jeroboam heard the saying of the man of God, which had cried against the altar in Bethel, that he put FORTH his hand from the altar, saying, Lay hold on him. And his hand, which he put FORTH against him, dried up, so that he could not pull it in again to him. 1 KINGS 15 33 In the third year of Asa king of Judah began Baasha the son of Ahijah to reign over all Israel in Tirzah, twenty and FOUR years. 1 KINGS 16 18 And it came to pass, when Zimri saw that the city was taken, that he went into the palace of the king's house, and burnt the king's house over him with FIRE, and died. 1 KINGS 18 19 Now therefore send, and gather to me all Israel unto mount Carmel, and the prophets of Baal FOUR hundred and fifty, and the prophets of the groves FOUR hundred, which eat at Jezebel's table. 22 Then said Elijah unto the people, I, even I only, remain a prophet of the LORD; but Baal's prophets are FOUR hundred and fifty men. 23 Let them therefore give us two bullocks; and let them choose one bullock for themselves, and cut it in pieces, and lay it on wood, and put no FIRE under: and I will dress the other bullock, and lay it on wood, and put no FIRE under: 24 And call ye on the name of your gods, and I will call on the name of the LORD: and the God that answereth by FIRE, let him be God. And all the people answered and said, It is well spoken. 25 And Elijah said unto the prophets of Baal, Choose you one bullock for yourselves, and dress it first; for ye are many; and call on the name of your gods, but put no FIRE under. 33 And he put the wood in order, and cut the bullock in pieces, and laid him on the wood, and said, Fill FOUR barrels with water, and pour it on the burnt sacrifice, and on the wood. 38 Then the FIRE of the LORD fell, and consumed the burnt sacrifice, and the wood, and the stones, and the dust, and licked up the water that was in the trench. --MORE-- |
