2 CHRONICLES 7 1 Now when Solomon had made an end of praying, the FIRE came down from heaven, and consumed the burnt offering and the sacrifices; and the glory of the LORD filled the house. 3 And when all the children of Israel saw how the FIRE came down, and the glory of the LORD upon the house, they bowed themselves with their faces to the ground upon the pavement, and worshipped, and praised the LORD, saying, For he is good; for his mercy endureth for ever. 22 And it shall be answered, Because they forsook the LORD God of their fathers, which brought them FORTH out of the land of Egypt, and laid hold on other gods, and worshipped them, and served them: therefore hath he brought all this evil upon them. 2 CHRONICLES 8 18 And Huram sent him by the hands of his servants ships, and servants that had knowledge of the sea; and they went with the servants of Solomon to Ophir, and took thence FOUR hundred and fifty talents of gold, and brought them to king Solomon. 2 CHRONICLES 9 25 And Solomon had FOUR thousand stalls for horses and chariots, and twelve thousand horsemen; whom he bestowed in the chariot cities, and with the king at Jerusalem. 2 CHRONICLES 13 3 And Abijah set the battle in array with an army of valiant men of war, even FOUR hundred thousand chosen men: Jeroboam also set the battle in array against him with eight hundred thousand chosen men, being mighty men of valour. 2 CHRONICLES 17 2 And he placed FORCES in all the fenced cities of Judah, and set garrisons in the land of Judah, and in the cities of Ephraim, which Asa his father had taken. 2 CHRONICLES 18 5 Therefore the king of Israel gathered together of prophets FOUR hundred men, and said unto them, Shall we go to Ramothgilead to battle, or shall I forbear? And they said, Go up; for God will deliver it into the king's hand. 2 CHRONICLES 20 20 And they rose early in the morning, and went FORTH into the wilderness of Tekoa: and as they went FORTH, Jehoshaphat stood and said, Hear me, O Judah, and ye inhabitants of Jerusalem; Believe in the LORD your God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper. 2 CHRONICLES 21 9 Then Jehoram went FORTH with his princes, and all his chariots with him: and he rose up by night, and smote the Edomites which compassed him in, and the captains of the chariots. 2 CHRONICLES 23 14 Then Jehoiada the priest brought out the captains of hundreds that were set over the host, and said unto them, Have her FORTH of the ranges: and whoso followeth her, let him be slain with the sword. For the priest said, Slay her not in the house of the LORD. 2 CHRONICLES 25 5 Moreover Amaziah gathered Judah together, and made them captains over thousands, and captains over hundreds, according to the houses of their fathers, throughout all Judah and Benjamin: and he numbered them from twenty years old and above, and found them three hundred thousand choice men, able to go FORTH to war, that could handle spear and shield. 11 And Amaziah strengthened himself, and led FORTH his people, and went to the valley of salt, and smote of the children of Seir ten thousand. 23 And Joash the king of Israel took Amaziah king of Judah, the son of Joash, the son of Jehoahaz, at Bethshemesh, and brought him to Jerusalem, and brake down the wall of Jerusalem from the gate of Ephraim to the corner gate, FOUR hundred cubits. 2 CHRONICLES 26 6 And he went FORTH and warred against the Philistines, and brake down the wall of Gath, and the wall of Jabneh, and the wall of Ashdod, and built cities about Ashdod, and among the Philistines. 2 CHRONICLES 28 3 Moreover he burnt incense in the valley of the son of Hinnom, and burnt his children in the FIRE, after the abominations of the heathen whom the LORD had cast out before the children of Israel. 2 CHRONICLES 29 5 And said unto them, Hear me, ye Levites, sanctify now yourselves, and sanctify the house of the LORD God of your fathers, and carry FORTH the filthiness out of the holy place. 23 And they brought FORTH the he goats for the sin offering before the king and the congregation; and they laid their hands upon them: 2 CHRONICLES 32 21 And the LORD sent an angel, which cut off all the mighty men of valour, and the leaders and captains in the camp of the king of Assyria. So he returned with shame of face to his own land. And when he was come into the house of his god, they that came FORTH of his own bowels slew him there with the sword. 2 CHRONICLES 33 6 And he caused his children to pass through the FIRE in the valley of the son of Hinnom: also he observed times, and used enchantments, and used witchcraft, and dealt with a familiar spirit, and with wizards: he wrought much evil in the sight of the LORD, to provoke him to anger. 2 CHRONICLES 35 13 And they roasted the passover with FIRE according to the ordinance: but the other holy offerings sod they in pots, and in caldrons, and in pans, and divided them speedily among all the people. 2 CHRONICLES 36 19 And they burnt the house of God, and brake down the wall of Jerusalem, and burnt all the palaces thereof with FIRE, and destroyed all the goodly vessels thereof. EZRA 1 7 Also Cyrus the king brought FORTH the vessels of the house of the LORD, which Nebuchadnezzar had brought FORTH out of Jerusalem, and had put them in the house of his gods; 8 Even those did Cyrus king of Persia bring FORTH by the hand of Mithredath the treasurer, and numbered them unto Sheshbazzar, the prince of Judah. 10 Thirty basons of gold, silver basons of a second sort FOUR hundred and ten, and other vessels a thousand. 11 All the vessels of gold and of silver were five thousand and FOUR hundred. All these did Sheshbazzar bring up with them of the captivity that were brought up from Babylon unto Jerusalem. EZRA 2 7 The children of Elam, a thousand two hundred fifty and FOUR. 15 The children of Adin, FOUR hundred fifty and FOUR. 31 The children of the other Elam, a thousand two hundred fifty and FOUR. 40 The Levites: the children of Jeshua and Kadmiel, of the children of Hodaviah, seventy and FOUR. 67 Their camels, FOUR hundred thirty and five; their asses, six thousand seven hundred and twenty. EZRA 6 5 And also let the golden and silver vessels of the house of God, which Nebuchadnezzar took FORTH out of the temple which is at Jerusalem, and brought unto Babylon, be restored, and brought again unto the temple which is at Jerusalem, every one to his place, and place them in the house of God. 17 And offered at the dedication of this house of God an hundred bullocks, two hundred rams, FOUR hundred lambs; and for a sin offering for all Israel, twelve he goats, according to the number of the tribes of Israel. NEHEMIAH 1 3 And they said unto me, The remnant that are left of the captivity there in the province are in great affliction and reproach: the wall of Jerusalem also is broken down, and the gates thereof are burned with FIRE. NEHEMIAH 2 3 And said unto the king, Let the king live for ever: why should not my countenance be sad, when the city, the place of my fathers' sepulchres, lieth waste, and the gates thereof are consumed with FIRE? 13 And I went out by night by the gate of the valley, even before the dragon well, and to the dung port, and viewed the walls of Jerusalem, which were broken down, and the gates thereof were consumed with FIRE. 17 Then said I unto them, Ye see the distress that we are in, how Jerusalem lieth waste, and the gates thereof are burned with FIRE: come, and let us build up the wall of Jerusalem, that we be no more a reproach. NEHEMIAH 9 7 Thou art the LORD the God, who didst choose Abram, and broughtest him FORTH out of Ur of the Chaldees, and gavest him the name of Abraham; 12 Moreover thou leddest them in the day by a cloudy pillar; and in the night by a pillar of FIRE, to give them light in the way wherein they should go. 15 And gavest them bread from heaven for their hunger, and broughtest FORTH water for them out of the rock for their thirst, and promisedst them that they should go in to possess the land which thou hadst sworn to give them. 19 Yet thou in thy manifold mercies forsookest them not in the wilderness: the pillar of the cloud departed not from them by day, to lead them in the way; neither the pillar of FIRE by night, to shew them light, and the way wherein they should go. --MORE-- |
