JEREMIAH 43 4 So Johanan the son of Kareah, and all the captains of the FORCES, and all the people, obeyed not the voice of the LORD, to dwell in the land of Judah. 5 But Johanan the son of Kareah, and all the captains of the FORCES, took all the remnant of Judah, that were returned from all nations, whither they had been driven, to dwell in the land of Judah; 12 And I will kindle a FIRE in the houses of the gods of Egypt; and he shall burn them, and carry them away captives: and he shall array himself with the land of Egypt, as a shepherd putteth on his garment; and he shall go FORTH from thence in peace. 13 He shall break also the images of Bethshemesh, that is in the land of Egypt; and the houses of the gods of the Egyptians shall he burn with FIRE. JEREMIAH 44 6 Wherefore my fury and mine anger was poured FORTH, and was kindled in the cities of Judah and in the streets of Jerusalem; and they are wasted and desolate, as at this day. 17 But we will certainly do whatsoever thing goeth FORTH out of our own mouth, to burn incense unto the queen of heaven, and to pour out drink offerings unto her, as we have done, we, and our fathers, our kings, and our princes, in the cities of Judah, and in the streets of Jerusalem: for then had we plenty of victuals, and were well, and saw no evil. JEREMIAH 46 4 Harness the horses; and get up, ye horsemen, and stand FORTH with your helmets; furbish the spears, and put on the brigandines. 9 Come up, ye horses; and rage, ye chariots; and let the mighty men come FORTH; the Ethiopians and the Libyans, that handle the shield; and the Lydians, that handle and bend the bow. JEREMIAH 50 8 Remove out of the midst of Babylon, and go FORTH out of the land of the Chaldeans, and be as the he goats before the flocks. 25 The LORD hath opened his armoury, and hath brought FORTH the weapons of his indignation: for this is the work of the Lord GOD of hosts in the land of the Chaldeans. 32 And the most proud shall stumble and fall, and none shall raise him up: and I will kindle a FIRE in his cities, and it shall devour all round about him. LAMENTATIONS 1 13 From above hath he sent FIRE into my bones, and it prevaileth against them: he hath spread a net for my feet, he hath turned me back: he hath made me desolate and faint all the day. 17 Zion spreadeth FORTH her hands, and there is none to comfort her: the LORD hath commanded concerning Jacob, that his adversaries should be round about him: Jerusalem is as a menstruous woman among them. LAMENTATIONS 2 3 He hath cut off in his fierce anger all the horn of Israel: he hath drawn back his right hand from before the enemy, and he burned against Jacob like a flaming FIRE, which devoureth round about. 4 He hath bent his bow like an enemy: he stood with his right hand as an adversary, and slew all that were pleasant to the eye in the tabernacle of the daughter of Zion: he poured out his fury like FIRE. LAMENTATIONS 4 11 The LORD hath accomplished his fury; he hath poured out his fierce anger, and hath kindled a FIRE in Zion, and it hath devoured the foundations thereof. EZEKIEL 1 4 And I looked, and, behold, a whirlwind came out of the north, a great cloud, and a FIRE infolding itself, and a brightness was about it, and out of the midst thereof as the colour of amber, out of the midst of the FIRE. 5 Also out of the midst thereof came the likeness of FOUR living creatures. And this was their appearance; they had the likeness of a man. 6 And every one had FOUR faces, and every one had FOUR wings. 8 And they had the hands of a man under their wings on their FOUR sides; and they FOUR had their faces and their wings. 10 As for the likeness of their faces, they FOUR had the face of a man, and the face of a lion, on the right side: and they FOUR had the face of an ox on the left side; they FOUR also had the face of an eagle. 13 As for the likeness of the living creatures, their appearance was like burning coals of FIRE, and like the appearance of lamps: it went up and down among the living creatures; and the FIRE was bright, and out of the FIRE went FORTH lightning. 15 Now as I beheld the living creatures, behold one wheel upon the earth by the living creatures, with his FOUR faces. 16 The appearance of the wheels and their work was like unto the colour of a beryl: and they FOUR had one likeness: and their appearance and their work was as it were a wheel in the middle of a wheel. 17 When they went, they went upon their FOUR sides: and they turned not when they went. 18 As for their rings, they were so high that they were dreadful; and their rings were full of eyes round about them FOUR. 22 And the likeness of the firmament upon the heads of the living creature was as the colour of the terrible crystal, stretched FORTH over their heads above. 27 And I saw as the colour of amber, as the appearance of FIRE round about within it, from the appearance of his loins even upward, and from the appearance of his loins even downward, I saw as it were the appearance of FIRE, and it had brightness round about. EZEKIEL 3 22 And the hand of the LORD was there upon me; and he said unto me, Arise, go FORTH into the plain, and I will there talk with thee. 23 Then I arose, and went FORTH into the plain: and, behold, the glory of the LORD stood there, as the glory which I saw by the river of Chebar: and I fell on my face. EZEKIEL 5 2 Thou shalt burn with FIRE a third part in the midst of the city, when the days of the siege are fulfilled: and thou shalt take a third part, and smite about it with a knife: and a third part thou shalt scatter in the wind; and I will draw out a sword after them. 4 Then take of them again, and cast them into the midst of the FIRE, and burn them in the FIRE; for thereof shall a FIRE come FORTH into all the house of Israel. EZEKIEL 7 2 Also, thou son of man, thus saith the Lord GOD unto the land of Israel; An end, the end is come upon the FOUR corners of the land. 10 Behold the day, behold, it is come: the morning is gone FORTH; the rod hath blossomed, pride hath budded. --MORE-- |
