PSALM 143 1 Hear my PRAYER, O LORD, give ear to my supplications: in thy faithfulness answer me, and in thy righteousness. PROVERBS 3 10 So shall thy barns be filled with plenty, and thy PRESSES shall burst out with new wine. PROVERBS 7 11 (She is loud and stubborn; her feet ABIDE not in her house: PROVERBS 15 8 The sacrifice of the wicked is an abomination to the LORD: but the PRAYER of the upright is his delight. 29 The LORD is far from the wicked: but he heareth the PRAYER of the righteous. PROVERBS 19 23 The fear of the LORD tendeth to life: and he that hath it shall ABIDE satisfied; he shall not be visited with evil. PROVERBS 28 9 He that turneth away his ear from hearing the law, even his PRAYER shall be abomination. ECCLESIASTES 4 14 For out of PRISON he cometh to reign; whereas also he that is born in his kingdom becometh poor. ECCLESIASTES 8 15 Then I commended mirth, because a man hath no better thing under the sun, than to eat, and to drink, and to be merry: for that shall ABIDE with him of his labour the days of his life, which God giveth him under the sun. ISAIAH 16 10 And gladness is taken away, and joy out of the plentiful field; and in the vineyards there shall be no singing, neither shall there be shouting: the treaders shall tread out no wine in their PRESSES; I have made their vintage shouting to cease. ISAIAH 24 22 And they shall be gathered together, as prisoners are gathered in the pit, and shall be shut up in the PRISON, and after many days shall they be visited. ISAIAH 26 16 LORD, in trouble have they visited thee, they poured out a PRAYER when thy chastening was upon them. ISAIAH 37 4 It may be the LORD thy God will hear the words of Rabshakeh, whom the king of Assyria his master hath sent to reproach the living God, and will reprove the words which the LORD thy God hath heard: wherefore lift up thy PRAYER for the remnant that is left. ISAIAH 38 5 Go, and say to Hezekiah, Thus saith the LORD, the God of David thy father, I have heard thy PRAYER, I have seen thy tears: behold, I will add unto thy days fifteen years. ISAIAH 42 7 To open the blind eyes, to bring out the prisoners from the PRISON, and them that sit in darkness out of the PRISON house. 22 But this is a people robbed and spoiled; they are all of them snared in holes, and they are hid in PRISON houses: they are for a prey, and none delivereth; for a spoil, and none saith, Restore. ISAIAH 53 8 He was taken from PRISON and from judgment: and who shall declare his generation? for he was cut off out of the land of the living: for the transgression of my people was he stricken. ISAIAH 56 7 Even them will I bring to my holy mountain, and make them joyful in my house of PRAYER: their burnt offerings and their sacrifices shall be accepted upon mine altar; for mine house shall be called an house of PRAYER for all people. ISAIAH 61 1 The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon me; because the LORD hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the PRISON to them that are bound; JEREMIAH 7 16 Therefore pray not thou for this people, neither lift up cry nor PRAYER for them, neither make intercession to me: for I will not hear thee. JEREMIAH 10 10 But the LORD is the true God, he is the living God, and an everlasting king: at his wrath the earth shall tremble, and the nations shall not be able to ABIDE his indignation. JEREMIAH 11 14 Therefore pray not thou for this people, neither lift up a cry or PRAYER for them: for I will not hear them in the time that they cry unto me for their trouble. JEREMIAH 29 26 The LORD hath made thee priest in the stead of Jehoiada the priest, that ye should be officers in the house of the LORD, for every man that is mad, and maketh himself a prophet, that thou shouldest put him in PRISON, and in the stocks. JEREMIAH 32 2 For then the king of Babylon's army besieged Jerusalem: and Jeremiah the prophet was shut up in the court of the PRISON, which was in the king of Judah's house. 8 So Hanameel mine uncle's son came to me in the court of the PRISON according to the word of the LORD, and said unto me, Buy my field, I pray thee, that is in Anathoth, which is in the country of Benjamin: for the right of inheritance is thine, and the redemption is thine; buy it for thyself. Then I knew that this was the word of the LORD. 12 And I gave the evidence of the purchase unto Baruch the son of Neriah, the son of Maaseiah, in the sight of Hanameel mine uncle's son, and in the presence of the witnesses that subscribed the book of the purchase, before all the Jews that sat in the court of the PRISON. JEREMIAH 33 1 Moreover the word of the LORD came unto Jeremiah the second time, while he was yet shut up in the court of the PRISON, saying, JEREMIAH 37 4 Now Jeremiah came in and went out among the people: for they had not put him into PRISON. 15 Wherefore the princes were wroth with Jeremiah, and smote him, and put him in PRISON in the house of Jonathan the scribe: for they had made that the PRISON. 18 Moreover Jeremiah said unto king Zedekiah, What have I offended against thee, or against thy servants, or against this people, that ye have put me in PRISON? 21 Then Zedekiah the king commanded that they should commit Jeremiah into the court of the PRISON, and that they should give him daily a piece of bread out of the bakers' street, until all the bread in the city were spent. Thus Jeremiah remained in the court of the PRISON. JEREMIAH 38 6 Then took they Jeremiah, and cast him into the dungeon of Malchiah the son of Hammelech, that was in the court of the PRISON: and they let down Jeremiah with cords. And in the dungeon there was no water, but mire: so Jeremiah sunk in the mire. 13 So they drew up Jeremiah with cords, and took him up out of the dungeon: and Jeremiah remained in the court of the PRISON. 28 So Jeremiah abode in the court of the PRISON until the day that Jerusalem was taken: and he was there when Jerusalem was taken. JEREMIAH 39 14 Even they sent, and took Jeremiah out of the court of the PRISON, and committed him unto Gedaliah the son of Ahikam the son of Shaphan, that he should carry him home: so he dwelt among the people. 15 Now the word of the LORD came unto Jeremiah, while he was shut up in the court of the PRISON, saying, JEREMIAH 42 10 If ye will still ABIDE in this land, then will I build you, and not pull you down, and I will plant you, and not pluck you up: for I repent me of the evil that I have done unto you. JEREMIAH 49 18 As in the overthrow of Sodom and Gomorrah and the neighbour cities thereof, saith the LORD, no man shall ABIDE there, neither shall a son of man dwell in it. 33 And Hazor shall be a dwelling for dragons, and a desolation for ever: there shall no man ABIDE there, nor any son of man dwell in it. JEREMIAH 50 40 As God overthrew Sodom and Gomorrah and the neighbour cities thereof, saith the LORD; so shall no man ABIDE there, neither shall any son of man dwell therein. JEREMIAH 52 11 Then he put out the eyes of Zedekiah; and the king of Babylon bound him in chains, and carried him to Babylon, and put him in PRISON till the day of his death. 31 And it came to pass in the seven and thirtieth year of the captivity of Jehoiachin king of Judah, in the twelfth month, in the five and twentieth day of the month, that Evilmerodach king of Babylon in the first year of his reign lifted up the head of Jehoiachin king of Judah, and brought him forth out of PRISON. 33 And changed his PRISON garments: and he did continually eat bread before him all the days of his life. LAMENTATIONS 3 8 Also when I cry and shout, he shutteth out my PRAYER. 44 Thou hast covered thyself with a cloud, that our PRAYER should not pass through. DANIEL 9 3 And I set my face unto the Lord God, to seek by PRAYER and supplications, with fasting, and sackcloth, and ashes: 13 As it is written in the law of Moses, all this evil is come upon us: yet made we not our PRAYER before the LORD our God, that we might turn from our iniquities, and understand thy truth. 17 Now therefore, O our God, hear the PRAYER of thy servant, and his supplications, and cause thy face to shine upon thy sanctuary that is desolate, for the Lord's sake. 21 Yea, whiles I was speaking in PRAYER, even the man Gabriel, whom I had seen in the vision at the beginning, being caused to fly swiftly, touched me about the time of the evening oblation. HOSEA 3 3 And I said unto her, Thou shalt ABIDE for me many days; thou shalt not play the harlot, and thou shalt not be for another man: so will I also be for thee. 4 For the children of Israel shall ABIDE many days without a king, and without a prince, and without a sacrifice, and without an image, and without an ephod, and without teraphim: --MORE-- |
