PROVERBS 19 6 Many will intreat the favour of the PRINCE: and every man is a friend to him that giveth gifts. PROVERBS 25 7 For better it is that it be said unto thee, Come up hither; than that thou shouldest be put lower in the presence of the PRINCE whom thine eyes have seen. 15 By long forbearing is a PRINCE persuaded, and a soft tongue breaketh the bone. PROVERBS 28 9 He that turneth away his ear from hearing the law, even his PRAYER shall be abomination. 16 The PRINCE that wanteth understanding is also a great oppressor: but he that hateth covetousness shall prolong his days. ECCLESIASTES 4 14 For out of PRISON he cometh to reign; whereas also he that is born in his kingdom becometh poor. ISAIAH 9 6 For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The PRINCE of Peace. ISAIAH 24 22 And they shall be gathered together, as prisoners are gathered in the pit, and shall be shut up in the PRISON, and after many days shall they be visited. ISAIAH 26 16 LORD, in trouble have they visited thee, they poured out a PRAYER when thy chastening was upon them. ISAIAH 28 10 For PRECEPT must be upon PRECEPT, PRECEPT upon PRECEPT; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little: 13 But the word of the LORD was unto them PRECEPT upon PRECEPT, PRECEPT upon PRECEPT; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little; that they might go, and fall backward, and be broken, and snared, and taken. ISAIAH 29 13 Wherefore the Lord said, Forasmuch as this people draw near me with their mouth, and with their lips do honour me, but have removed their heart far from me, and their fear toward me is taught by the PRECEPT of men: ISAIAH 37 4 It may be the LORD thy God will hear the words of Rabshakeh, whom the king of Assyria his master hath sent to reproach the living God, and will reprove the words which the LORD thy God hath heard: wherefore lift up thy PRAYER for the remnant that is left. ISAIAH 38 5 Go, and say to Hezekiah, Thus saith the LORD, the God of David thy father, I have heard thy PRAYER, I have seen thy tears: behold, I will add unto thy days fifteen years. ISAIAH 42 7 To open the blind eyes, to bring out the prisoners from the PRISON, and them that sit in darkness out of the PRISON house. 22 But this is a people robbed and spoiled; they are all of them snared in holes, and they are hid in PRISON houses: they are for a prey, and none delivereth; for a spoil, and none saith, Restore. ISAIAH 53 8 He was taken from PRISON and from judgment: and who shall declare his generation? for he was cut off out of the land of the living: for the transgression of my people was he stricken. ISAIAH 56 7 Even them will I bring to my holy mountain, and make them joyful in my house of PRAYER: their burnt offerings and their sacrifices shall be accepted upon mine altar; for mine house shall be called an house of PRAYER for all people. ISAIAH 61 1 The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon me; because the LORD hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the PRISON to them that are bound; JEREMIAH 7 16 Therefore pray not thou for this people, neither lift up cry nor PRAYER for them, neither make intercession to me: for I will not hear thee. JEREMIAH 11 14 Therefore pray not thou for this people, neither lift up a cry or PRAYER for them: for I will not hear them in the time that they cry unto me for their trouble. JEREMIAH 29 26 The LORD hath made thee priest in the stead of Jehoiada the priest, that ye should be officers in the house of the LORD, for every man that is mad, and maketh himself a prophet, that thou shouldest put him in PRISON, and in the stocks. JEREMIAH 32 2 For then the king of Babylon's army besieged Jerusalem: and Jeremiah the prophet was shut up in the court of the PRISON, which was in the king of Judah's house. 8 So Hanameel mine uncle's son came to me in the court of the PRISON according to the word of the LORD, and said unto me, Buy my field, I pray thee, that is in Anathoth, which is in the country of Benjamin: for the right of inheritance is thine, and the redemption is thine; buy it for thyself. Then I knew that this was the word of the LORD. 12 And I gave the evidence of the purchase unto Baruch the son of Neriah, the son of Maaseiah, in the sight of Hanameel mine uncle's son, and in the presence of the witnesses that subscribed the book of the purchase, before all the Jews that sat in the court of the PRISON. JEREMIAH 33 1 Moreover the word of the LORD came unto Jeremiah the second time, while he was yet shut up in the court of the PRISON, saying, JEREMIAH 37 4 Now Jeremiah came in and went out among the people: for they had not put him into PRISON. 15 Wherefore the princes were wroth with Jeremiah, and smote him, and put him in PRISON in the house of Jonathan the scribe: for they had made that the PRISON. 18 Moreover Jeremiah said unto king Zedekiah, What have I offended against thee, or against thy servants, or against this people, that ye have put me in PRISON? 21 Then Zedekiah the king commanded that they should commit Jeremiah into the court of the PRISON, and that they should give him daily a piece of bread out of the bakers' street, until all the bread in the city were spent. Thus Jeremiah remained in the court of the PRISON. JEREMIAH 38 6 Then took they Jeremiah, and cast him into the dungeon of Malchiah the son of Hammelech, that was in the court of the PRISON: and they let down Jeremiah with cords. And in the dungeon there was no water, but mire: so Jeremiah sunk in the mire. 13 So they drew up Jeremiah with cords, and took him up out of the dungeon: and Jeremiah remained in the court of the PRISON. 28 So Jeremiah abode in the court of the PRISON until the day that Jerusalem was taken: and he was there when Jerusalem was taken. JEREMIAH 39 14 Even they sent, and took Jeremiah out of the court of the PRISON, and committed him unto Gedaliah the son of Ahikam the son of Shaphan, that he should carry him home: so he dwelt among the people. 15 Now the word of the LORD came unto Jeremiah, while he was shut up in the court of the PRISON, saying, JEREMIAH 51 59 The word which Jeremiah the prophet commanded Seraiah the son of Neriah, the son of Maaseiah, when he went with Zedekiah the king of Judah into Babylon in the fourth year of his reign. And this Seraiah was a quiet PRINCE. JEREMIAH 52 11 Then he put out the eyes of Zedekiah; and the king of Babylon bound him in chains, and carried him to Babylon, and put him in PRISON till the day of his death. 31 And it came to pass in the seven and thirtieth year of the captivity of Jehoiachin king of Judah, in the twelfth month, in the five and twentieth day of the month, that Evilmerodach king of Babylon in the first year of his reign lifted up the head of Jehoiachin king of Judah, and brought him forth out of PRISON. 33 And changed his PRISON garments: and he did continually eat bread before him all the days of his life. LAMENTATIONS 3 8 Also when I cry and shout, he shutteth out my PRAYER. 44 Thou hast covered thyself with a cloud, that our PRAYER should not pass through. EZEKIEL 7 27 The king shall mourn, and the PRINCE shall be clothed with desolation, and the hands of the people of the land shall be troubled: I will do unto them after their way, and according to their deserts will I judge them; and they shall know that I am the LORD. EZEKIEL 12 10 Say thou unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; This burden concerneth the PRINCE in Jerusalem, and all the house of Israel that are among them. 12 And the PRINCE that is among them shall bear upon his shoulder in the twilight, and shall go forth: they shall dig through the wall to carry out thereby: he shall cover his face, that he see not the ground with his eyes. EZEKIEL 21 25 And thou, profane wicked PRINCE of Israel, whose day is come, when iniquity shall have an end, EZEKIEL 28 2 Son of man, say unto the PRINCE of Tyrus, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Because thine heart is lifted up, and thou hast said, I am a God, I sit in the seat of God, in the midst of the seas; yet thou art a man, and not God, though thou set thine heart as the heart of God: EZEKIEL 30 13 Thus saith the Lord GOD; I will also destroy the idols, and I will cause their images to cease out of Noph; and there shall be no more a PRINCE of the land of Egypt: and I will put a fear in the land of Egypt. EZEKIEL 34 24 And I the LORD will be their God, and my servant David a PRINCE among them; I the LORD have spoken it. EZEKIEL 37 25 And they shall dwell in the land that I have given unto Jacob my servant, wherein your fathers have dwelt; and they shall dwell therein, even they, and their children, and their children's children for ever: and my servant David shall be their PRINCE for ever. EZEKIEL 38 2 Son of man, set thy face against Gog, the land of Magog, the chief PRINCE of Meshech and Tubal, and prophesy against him, 3 And say, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I am against thee, O Gog, the chief PRINCE of Meshech and Tubal: --MORE-- |
