And all the people answered and said, It is well spoken. 25 And Elijah said unto the prophets of Baal, Choose you one bullock for yourselves, and dress it first; for ye are many; and call on the name of your gods, but put no FIRE under. 32 And with the stones he built an altar in the name of the LORD: and he made a trench ABOUT the altar, as great as would contain two measures of seed. 35 And the water ran round ABOUT the altar; and he filled the trench also with water. 38 Then the FIRE of the LORD fell, and consumed the burnt sacrifice, and the wood, and the stones, and the dust, and licked up the water that was in the trench. 1 KINGS 19 2 Then Jezebel sent a messenger unto Elijah, saying, So let the gods do to me, and more also, if I make not thy life as the life of one of them by to morrow ABOUT this time. 12 And after the earthquake a FIRE; but the LORD was not in the FIRE: and after the FIRE a still small voice. 1 KINGS 20 6 Yet I will send my servants unto thee to morrow ABOUT this time, and they shall search thine house, and the houses of thy servants; and it shall be, that whatsoever is pleasant in thine eyes, they shall put it in their hand, and take it away. 1 KINGS 22 6 Then the king of Israel gathered the prophets together, ABOUT four hundred men, and said unto them, Shall I go against Ramothgilead to battle, or shall I forbear? And they said, Go up; for the LORD shall deliver it into the hand of the king. 36 And there went a proclamation throughout the host ABOUT the going down of the sun, saying, Every man to his city, and every man to his own country. 42 Jehoshaphat was thirty and FIVE years old when he began to reign; and he reigned twenty and FIVE years in Jerusalem. And his mother's name was Azubah the daughter of Shilhi. 2 KINGS 1 8 And they answered him, He was an hairy man, and girt with a girdle of leather ABOUT his loins. And he said, It is Elijah the Tishbite. 10 And Elijah answered and said to the captain of fifty, If I be a man of God, then let FIRE come down from heaven, and consume thee and thy fifty. And there came down FIRE from heaven, and consumed him and his fifty. 12 And Elijah answered and said unto them, If I be a man of God, let FIRE come down from heaven, and consume thee and thy fifty. And the FIRE of God came down from heaven, and consumed him and his fifty. 14 Behold, there came FIRE down from heaven, and burnt up the two captains of the former fifties with their fifties: therefore let my life now be precious in thy sight. 2 KINGS 2 11 And it came to pass, as they still went on, and talked, that, behold, there appeared a chariot of FIRE, and horses of FIRE, and parted them both asunder; and Elijah went up by a whirlwind into heaven. 2 KINGS 3 25 And they beat down the cities, and on every good piece of land cast every man his stone, and filled it; and they stopped all the wells of water, and felled all the good trees: only in Kirharaseth left they the stones thereof; howbeit the slingers went ABOUT it, and smote it. 2 KINGS 4 16 And he said, ABOUT this season, according to the time of life, thou shalt embrace a son. And she said, Nay, my lord, thou man of God, do not lie unto thine handmaid. 2 KINGS 6 14 Therefore sent he thither horses, and chariots, and a great host: and they came by night, and compassed the city ABOUT. 17 And Elisha prayed, and said, LORD, I pray thee, open his eyes, that he may see. And the LORD opened the eyes of the young man; and he saw: and, behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of FIRE round ABOUT Elisha. 25 And there was a great famine in Samaria: and, behold, they besieged it, until an ass's head was sold for fourscore pieces of silver, and the fourth part of a cab of dove's dung for FIVE pieces of silver. 2 KINGS 7 1 Then Elisha said, Hear ye the word of the LORD; Thus saith the LORD, To morrow ABOUT this time shall a measure of fine flour be sold for a shekel, and two measures of barley for a shekel, in the gate of Samaria. 13 And one of his servants answered and said, Let some take, I pray thee, FIVE of the horses that remain, which are left in the city, (behold, they are as all the multitude of Israel that are left in it: behold, I say, they are even as all the multitude of the Israelites that are consumed:) and let us send and see. 18 And it came to pass as the man of God had spoken to the king, saying, Two measures of barley for a shekel, and a measure of fine flour for a shekel, shall be to morrow ABOUT this time in the gate of Samaria: --MORE-- |
