PROVERBS 28 8 He that by usury and unjust GAIN increaseth his substance, he shall gather it for him that will pity the poor. PROVERBS 30 15 The horseleach hath two daughters, crying, Give, give. There are three things that are never satisfied, yea, FOUR things say not, It is enough: 18 There be three things which are too wonderful for me, yea, FOUR which I know not: 21 For three things the earth is disquieted, and for FOUR which it cannot bear: 24 There be FOUR things which are little upon the earth, but they are exceeding wise: 29 There be three things which go well, yea, FOUR are comely in going: ISAIAH 11 12 And he shall set up an ensign for the nations, and shall assemble the outcasts of Israel, and gather together the dispersed of Judah from the FOUR corners of the earth. ISAIAH 17 6 Yet gleaning grapes shall be left in it, as the shaking of an olive tree, two or three berries in the top of the uppermost bough, FOUR or five in the outmost fruitful branches thereof, saith the LORD God of Israel. ISAIAH 33 15 He that walketh righteously, and speaketh uprightly; he that despiseth the GAIN of oppressions, that shaketh his hands from holding of bribes, that stoppeth his ears from hearing of blood, and shutteth his eyes from seeing evil; ISAIAH 56 11 Yea, they are greedy dogs which can never have enough, and they are shepherds that cannot understand: they all look to their own way, every one for his GAIN, from his quarter. JEREMIAH 15 3 And I will appoint over them FOUR kinds, saith the LORD: the sword to slay, and the dogs to tear, and the fowls of the heaven, and the beasts of the earth, to devour and destroy. JEREMIAH 36 23 And it came to pass, that when Jehudi had read three or FOUR leaves, he cut it with the penknife, and cast it into the fire that was on the hearth, until all the roll was consumed in the fire that was on the hearth. JEREMIAH 47 1 The word of the LORD that came to Jeremiah the prophet against the Philistines, before that Pharaoh smote GAZA. 5 Baldness is come upon GAZA; Ashkelon is cut off with the remnant of their valley: how long wilt thou cut thyself? JEREMIAH 49 36 And upon Elam will I bring the FOUR winds from the FOUR quarters of heaven, and will scatter them toward all those winds; and there shall be no nation whither the outcasts of Elam shall not come. JEREMIAH 52 21 And concerning the pillars, the height of one pillar was eighteen cubits; and a fillet of twelve cubits did compass it; and the thickness thereof was FOUR fingers: it was hollow. 30 In the three and twentieth year of Nebuchadrezzar Nebuzaradan the captain of the guard carried away captive of the Jews seven hundred forty and five persons: all the persons were FOUR thousand and six hundred. EZEKIEL 1 5 Also out of the midst thereof came the likeness of FOUR living creatures. And this was their appearance; they had the likeness of a man. 6 And every one had FOUR faces, and every one had FOUR wings. 8 And they had the hands of a man under their wings on their FOUR sides; and they FOUR had their faces and their wings. 10 As for the likeness of their faces, they FOUR had the face of a man, and the face of a lion, on the right side: and they FOUR had the face of an ox on the left side; they FOUR also had the face of an eagle. 15 Now as I beheld the living creatures, behold one wheel upon the earth by the living creatures, with his FOUR faces. 16 The appearance of the wheels and their work was like unto the colour of a beryl: and they FOUR had one likeness: and their appearance and their work was as it were a wheel in the middle of a wheel. 17 When they went, they went upon their FOUR sides: and they turned not when they went. 18 As for their rings, they were so high that they were dreadful; and their rings were full of eyes round about them FOUR. EZEKIEL 3 8 Behold, I have made thy face strong against their faces, and thy forehead strong against their FOREHEADS. EZEKIEL 7 2 Also, thou son of man, thus saith the Lord GOD unto the land of Israel; An end, the end is come upon the FOUR corners of the land. EZEKIEL 9 4 And the LORD said unto him, Go through the midst of the city, through the midst of Jerusalem, and set a mark upon the FOREHEADS of the men that sigh and that cry for all the abominations that be done in the midst thereof. EZEKIEL 10 9 And when I looked, behold the FOUR wheels by the cherubims, one wheel by one cherub, and another wheel by another cherub: and the appearance of the wheels was as the colour of a beryl stone. 10 And as for their appearances, they FOUR had one likeness, as if a wheel had been in the midst of a wheel. 11 When they went, they went upon their FOUR sides; they turned not as they went, but to the place whither the head looked they followed it; they turned not as they went. 12 And their whole body, and their backs, and their hands, and their wings, and the wheels, were full of eyes round about, even the wheels that they FOUR had. 14 And every one had FOUR faces: the first face was the face of a cherub, and the second face was the face of a man, and the third the face of a lion, and the fourth the face of an eagle. 21 Every one had FOUR faces apiece, and every one FOUR wings; and the likeness of the hands of a man was under their wings. EZEKIEL 13 5 Ye have not gone up into the GAPS, neither made up the hedge for the house of Israel to stand in the battle in the day of the LORD. EZEKIEL 14 21 For thus saith the Lord GOD; How much more when I send my FOUR sore judgments upon Jerusalem, the sword, and the famine, and the noisome beast, and the pestilence, to cut off from it man and beast? EZEKIEL 22 13 Behold, therefore I have smitten mine hand at thy dishonest GAIN which thou hast made, and at thy blood which hath been in the midst of thee. 27 Her princes in the midst thereof are like wolves ravening the prey, to shed blood, and to destroy souls, to get dishonest GAIN. EZEKIEL 37 9 Then said he unto me, Prophesy unto the wind, prophesy, son of man, and say to the wind, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Come from the FOUR winds, O breath, and breathe upon these slain, that they may live. EZEKIEL 40 41 FOUR tables were on this side, and FOUR tables on that side, by the side of the gate; eight tables, whereupon they slew their sacrifices. 42 And the FOUR tables were of hewn stone for the burnt offering, of a cubit and an half long, and a cubit and an half broad, and one cubit high: whereupon also they laid the instruments wherewith they slew the burnt offering and the sacrifice. EZEKIEL 41 5 After he measured the wall of the house, six cubits; and the breadth of every side chamber, FOUR cubits, round about the house on every side. EZEKIEL 42 20 He measured it by the FOUR sides: it had a wall round about, five hundred reeds long, and five hundred broad, to make a separation between the sanctuary and the profane place. EZEKIEL 43 14 And from the bottom upon the ground even to the lower settle shall be two cubits, and the breadth one cubit; and from the lesser settle even to the greater settle shall be FOUR cubits, and the breadth one cubit. 15 So the altar shall be FOUR cubits; and from the altar and upward shall be FOUR horns. 16 And the altar shall be twelve cubits long, twelve broad, square in the FOUR squares thereof. 17 And the settle shall be fourteen cubits long and fourteen broad in the FOUR squares thereof; and the border about it shall be half a cubit; and the bottom thereof shall be a cubit about; and his stairs shall look toward the east. 20 And thou shalt take of the blood thereof, and put it on the FOUR horns of it, and on the FOUR corners of the settle, and upon the border round about: thus shalt thou cleanse and purge it. EZEKIEL 45 19 And the priest shall take of the blood of the sin offering, and put it upon the posts of the house, and upon the FOUR corners of the settle of the altar, and upon the posts of the gate of the inner court. EZEKIEL 46 21 Then he brought me forth into the utter court, and caused me to pass by the FOUR corners of the court; and, behold, in every corner of the court there was a court. 22 In the FOUR corners of the court there were courts joined of forty cubits long and thirty broad: these FOUR corners were of one measure. 23 And there was a row of building round about in them, round about them FOUR, and it was made with boiling places under the rows round about. --MORE-- |
