NUMBERS 29 6 Beside the burnt offering of the month, and his meat offering, and the daily burnt offering, and his meat offering, and their drink offerings, according unto their manner, for a sweet savour, a sacrifice made by FIRE unto the LORD. 13 And ye shall offer a burnt offering, a sacrifice made by FIRE, of a sweet savour unto the LORD; thirteen young bullocks, two rams, and fourteen lambs of the first year; they shall be without blemish: 36 But ye shall offer a burnt offering, a sacrifice made by FIRE, of a sweet savour unto the LORD: one bullock, one ram, seven lambs of the first year without blemish: NUMBERS 31 8 And they slew the kings of Midian, beside the rest of them that were slain; namely, Evi, and Rekem, and Zur, and Hur, and Reba, FIVE kings of Midian: Balaam also the son of Beor they slew with the sword. 10 And they burnt all their cities wherein they dwelt, and all their goodly castles, with FIRE. 23 Every thing that may abide the FIRE, ye shall make it go through the FIRE, and it shall be clean: nevertheless it shall be purified with the water of separation: and all that abideth not the FIRE ye shall make go through the water. 28 And levy a tribute unto the Lord of the men of war which went out to battle: one soul of FIVE hundred, both of the persons, and of the beeves, and of the asses, and of the sheep: 32 And the booty, being the rest of the prey which the men of war had caught, was six hundred thousand and seventy thousand and FIVE thousand sheep, 36 And the half, which was the portion of them that went out to war, was in number three hundred thousand and seven and thirty thousand and FIVE hundred sheep: 39 And the asses were thirty thousand and FIVE hundred; of which the LORD's tribute was threescore and one. 43 (Now the half that pertained unto the congregation was three hundred thousand and thirty thousand and seven thousand and FIVE hundred sheep, 45 And thirty thousand asses and FIVE hundred, DEUTERONOMY 1 33 Who went in the way before you, to search you out a place to pitch your tents in, in FIRE by night, to shew you by what way ye should go, and in a cloud by day. DEUTERONOMY 2 5 Meddle not with them; for I will not give you of their land, no, not so much as a FOOT breadth; because I have given mount Seir unto Esau for a possession. DEUTERONOMY 4 11 And ye came near and stood under the mountain; and the mountain burned with FIRE unto the midst of heaven, with darkness, clouds, and thick darkness. 12 And the LORD spake unto you out of the midst of the FIRE: ye heard the voice of the words, but saw no similitude; only ye heard a voice. 15 Take ye therefore good heed unto yourselves; for ye saw no manner of similitude on the day that the LORD spake unto you in Horeb out of the midst of the FIRE: 24 For the LORD thy God is a consuming FIRE, even a jealous God. 33 Did ever people hear the voice of God speaking out of the midst of the FIRE, as thou hast heard, and live? 36 Out of heaven he made thee to hear his voice, that he might instruct thee: and upon earth he shewed thee his great FIRE; and thou heardest his words out of the midst of the FIRE. DEUTERONOMY 5 4 The LORD talked with you face to face in the mount out of the midst of the FIRE, 5 (I stood between the LORD and you at that time, to shew you the word of the LORD: for ye were afraid by reason of the FIRE, and went not up into the mount;) saying, 22 These words the LORD spake unto all your assembly in the mount out of the midst of the FIRE, of the cloud, and of the thick darkness, with a great voice: and he added no more. And he wrote them in two tables of stone, and delivered them unto me. 23 And it came to pass, when ye heard the voice out of the midst of the darkness, (for the mountain did burn with FIRE,) that ye came near unto me, even all the heads of your tribes, and your elders; 24 And ye said, Behold, the LORD our God hath shewed us his glory and his greatness, and we have heard his voice out of the midst of the FIRE: we have seen this day that God doth talk with man, and he liveth. 25 Now therefore why should we die? for this great FIRE will consume us: if we hear the voice of the LORD our God any more, then we shall die. 26 For who is there of all flesh, that hath heard the voice of the living God speaking out of the midst of the FIRE, as we have, and lived? DEUTERONOMY 7 5 But thus shall ye deal with them; ye shall destroy their altars, and break down their images, and cut down their groves, and burn their graven images with FIRE. 25 The graven images of their gods shall ye burn with FIRE: thou shalt not desire the silver or gold that is on them, nor take it unto thee, lest thou be snared therin: for it is an abomination to the LORD thy God. DEUTERONOMY 8 4 Thy raiment waxed not old upon thee, neither did thy FOOT swell, these forty years. DEUTERONOMY 9 3 Understand therefore this day, that the LORD thy God is he which goeth over before thee; as a consuming FIRE he shall destroy them, and he shall bring them down before thy face: so shalt thou drive them out, and destroy them quickly, as the LORD hath said unto thee. 10 And the LORD delivered unto me two tables of stone written with the finger of God; and on them was written according to all the words, which the LORD spake with you in the mount out of the midst of the FIRE in the day of the assembly. 15 So I turned and came down from the mount, and the mount burned with FIRE: and the two tables of the covenant were in my two hands. 21 And I took your sin, the calf which ye had made, and burnt it with FIRE, and stamped it, and ground it very small, even until it was as small as dust: and I cast the dust thereof into the brook that descended out of the mount. DEUTERONOMY 10 4 And he wrote on the tables, according to the first writing, the ten commandments, which the LORD spake unto you in the mount out of the midst of the FIRE in the day of the assembly: and the LORD gave them unto me. DEUTERONOMY 11 10 For the land, whither thou goest in to possess it, is not as the land of Egypt, from whence ye came out, where thou sowedst thy seed, and wateredst it with thy FOOT, as a garden of herbs: DEUTERONOMY 12 3 And ye shall overthrow their altars, and break their pillars, and burn their groves with FIRE; and ye shall hew down the graven images of their gods, and destroy the names of them out of that place. 31 Thou shalt not do so unto the LORD thy God: for every abomination to the LORD, which he hateth, have they done unto their gods; for even their sons and their daughters they have burnt in the FIRE to their gods. DEUTERONOMY 13 16 And thou shalt gather all the spoil of it into the midst of the street thereof, and shalt burn with FIRE the city, and all the spoil thereof every whit, for the LORD thy God: and it shall be an heap for ever; it shall not be built again. DEUTERONOMY 18 1 The priests the Levites, and all the tribe of Levi, shall have no part nor inheritance with Israel: they shall eat the offerings of the LORD made by FIRE, and his inheritance. 10 There shall not be found among you any one that maketh his son or his daughter to pass through the FIRE, or that useth divination, or an observer of times, or an enchanter, or a witch. 16 According to all that thou desiredst of the LORD thy God in Horeb in the day of the assembly, saying, Let me not hear again the voice of the LORD my God, neither let me see this great FIRE any more, that I die not. DEUTERONOMY 19 21 And thine eye shall not pity; but life shall go for life, eye for eye, tooth for tooth, hand for hand, FOOT for FOOT. DEUTERONOMY 25 9 Then shall his brother's wife come unto him in the presence of the elders, and loose his shoe from off his FOOT, and spit in his face, and shall answer and say, So shall it be done unto that man that will not build up his brother's house. DEUTERONOMY 28 35 The LORD shall smite thee in the knees, and in the legs, with a sore botch that cannot be healed, from the sole of thy FOOT unto the top of thy head. 56 The tender and delicate woman among you, which would not adventure to set the sole of her FOOT upon the ground for delicateness and tenderness, her eye shall be evil toward the husband of her bosom, and toward her son, and toward her daughter, 65 And among these nations shalt thou find no ease, neither shall the sole of thy FOOT have rest: but the LORD shall give thee there a trembling heart, and failing of eyes, and sorrow of mind: DEUTERONOMY 29 5 And I have led you forty years in the wilderness: your clothes are not waxen old upon you, and thy shoe is not waxen old upon thy FOOT. DEUTERONOMY 32 22 For a FIRE is kindled in mine anger, and shall burn unto the lowest hell, and shall consume the earth with her increase, and set on FIRE the foundations of the mountains. 35 To me belongeth vengeance and recompence; their FOOT shall slide in due time: for the day of their calamity is at hand, and the things that shall come upon them make haste. --MORE-- |
