2 CHRONICLES 15 10 So they gathered themselves together AT Jerusalem in the third month, in the fifteenth year of the reign of Asa. 15 And all Judah rejoiced AT the oath: for they had sworn with all their heart, and sought him with their whole desire; and he was found of them: and the LORD gave them rest round about. 16 And also concerning Maachah the mother of Asa the king, he removed her from being queen, because she had made an idol in a grove: and Asa cut down her idol, and stamped it, and burnt it AT the brook Kidron. 2 CHRONICLES 16 2 Then Asa brought out silver and gold out of the treasures of the house of the LORD and of the king's house, and sent to Benhadad king of Syria, that dwelt AT Damascus, saying, 7 And AT that time Hanani the seer came to Asa king of Judah, and said unto him, Because thou hast relied on the king of Syria, and not relied on the LORD thy God, therefore is the host of the king of Syria escaped out of thine hand. 2 CHRONICLES 18 4 And Jehoshaphat said unto the king of Israel, Enquire, I pray thee, AT the word of the LORD to day. 9 And the king of Israel and Jehoshaphat king of Judah sat either of them on his throne, clothed in their robes, and they sat in a void place AT the entering in of the gate of Samaria; and all the prophets prophesied before them. 19 And the LORD said, Who shall entice Ahab king of Israel, that he may go up and fall AT Ramothgilead? And one spake saying after this manner, and another saying after that manner. 33 And a certain man drew a bow AT a venture, and smote the king of Israel between the joints of the harness: therefore he said to his chariot man, Turn thine hand, that thou mayest carry me out of the host; for I am wounded. 2 CHRONICLES 19 4 And Jehoshaphat dwelt AT Jerusalem: and he went out again through the people from Beersheba to mount Ephraim, and brought them back unto the LORD God of their fathers. 2 CHRONICLES 20 16 To morrow go ye down against them: behold, they come up by the cliff of Ziz; and ye shall find them AT the end of the brook, before the wilderness of Jeruel. 2 CHRONICLES 22 5 He walked also after their counsel, and went with Jehoram the son of Ahab king of Israel to war against Hazael king of Syria AT Ramothgilead: and the Syrians smote Joram. 6 And he returned to be healed in Jezreel because of the wounds which were given him AT Ramah, when he fought with Hazael king of Syria. And Azariah the son of Jehoram king of Judah went down to see Jehoram the son of Ahab AT Jezreel, because he was sick. 2 CHRONICLES 23 5 And a third part shall be AT the king's house; and a third part AT the gate of the foundation: and all the people shall be in the courts of the house of the LORD. 13 And she looked, and, behold, the king stood AT his pillar AT the entering in, and the princes and the trumpets by the king: and all the people of the land rejoiced, and sounded with trumpets, also the singers with instruments of musick, and such as taught to sing praise. Then Athaliah rent her clothes, and said, Treason, Treason. 19 And he set the porters AT the gates of the house of the LORD, that none which was unclean in any thing should enter in. 2 CHRONICLES 24 8 And AT the king's commandment they made a chest, and set it without AT the gate of the house of the LORD. 11 Now it came to pass, that AT what time the chest was brought unto the king's office by the hand of the Levites, and when they saw that there was much money, the king's scribe and the high priest's officer came and emptied the chest, and took it, and carried it to his place again. Thus they did day by day, and gathered money in abundance. 21 And they conspired against him, and stoned him with stones AT the commandment of the king in the court of the house of the LORD. 23 And it came to pass AT the end of the year, that the host of Syria came up against him: and they came to Judah and Jerusalem, and destroyed all the princes of the people from among the people, and sent all the spoil of them unto the king of Damascus. 2 CHRONICLES 25 19 Thou sayest, Lo, thou hast smitten the Edomites; and thine heart lifteth thee up to boast: abide now AT home; why shouldest thou meddle to thine hurt, that thou shouldest fall, even thou, and Judah with thee? 21 So Joash the king of Israel went up; and they saw one another in the face, both he and Amaziah king of Judah, AT Bethshemesh, which belongeth to Judah. 23 And Joash the king of Israel took Amaziah king of Judah, the son of Joash, the son of Jehoahaz, AT Bethshemesh, and brought him to Jerusalem, and brake down the wall of Jerusalem from the gate of Ephraim to the corner gate, four hundred cubits. 2 CHRONICLES 26 9 Moreover Uzziah built towers in Jerusalem AT the corner gate, and AT the valley gate, and AT the turning of the wall, and fortified them. 2 CHRONICLES 28 16 AT that time did king Ahaz send unto the kings of Assyria to help him. 2 CHRONICLES 30 1 And Hezekiah sent to all Israel and Judah, and wrote letters also to Ephraim and Manasseh, that they should come to the house of the LORD AT Jerusalem, to keep the passover unto the LORD God of Israel. 3 For they could not keep it AT that time, because the priests had not sanctified themselves sufficiently, neither had the people gathered themselves together to Jerusalem. 5 So they established a decree to make proclamation throughout all Israel, from Beersheba even to Dan, that they should come to keep the passover unto the LORD God of Israel AT Jerusalem: for they had not done it of a long time in such sort as it was written. 13 And there assembled AT Jerusalem much people to keep the feast of unleavened bread in the second month, a very great congregation. 21 And the children of Israel that were present AT Jerusalem kept the feast of unleavened bread seven days with great gladness: and the Levites and the priests praised the LORD day by day, singing with loud instruments unto the LORD. 2 CHRONICLES 31 13 And Jehiel, and Azaziah, and Nahath, and Asahel, and Jerimoth, and Jozabad, and Eliel, and Ismachiah, and Mahath, and Benaiah, were overseers under the hand of Cononiah and Shimei his brother, AT the commandment of Hezekiah the king, and Azariah the ruler of the house of God. 2 CHRONICLES 32 9 After this did Sennacherib king of Assyria send his servants to Jerusalem, (but he himself laid siege against Lachish, and all his power with him,) unto Hezekiah king of Judah, and unto all Judah that were AT Jerusalem, saying, 33 And Hezekiah slept with his fathers, and they buried him in the chiefest of the sepulchres of the sons of David: and all Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem did him honour AT his death. And Manasseh his son reigned in his stead. 2 CHRONICLES 33 14 Now after this he built a wall without the city of David, on the west side of Gihon, in the valley, even to the entering in AT the fish gate, and compassed about Ophel, and raised it up a very great height, and put captains of war in all the fenced cities of Judah. 2 CHRONICLES 35 15 And the singers the sons of Asaph were in their place, according to the commandment of David, and Asaph, and Heman, and Jeduthun the king's seer; and the porters waited AT every gate; they might not depart from their service; for their brethren the Levites prepared for them. 17 And the children of Israel that were present kept the passover AT that time, and the feast of unleavened bread seven days. 23 And the archers shot AT king Josiah; and the king said to his servants, Have me away; for I am sore wounded. 2 CHRONICLES 36 3 And the king of Egypt put him down AT Jerusalem, and condemned the land in an hundred talents of silver and a talent of gold. 7 Nebuchadnezzar also carried of the vessels of the house of the LORD to Babylon, and put them in his temple AT Babylon. EZRA 1 2 Thus saith Cyrus king of Persia, The LORD God of heaven hath given me all the kingdoms of the earth; and he hath charged me to build him an house AT Jerusalem, which is in Judah. EZRA 2 68 And some of the chief of the fathers, when they came to the house of the LORD which is AT Jerusalem, offered freely for the house of God to set it up in his place: EZRA 3 8 Now in the second year of their coming unto the house of God AT Jerusalem, in the second month, began Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel, and Jeshua the son of Jozadak, and the remnant of their brethren the priests and the Levites, and all they that were come out of the captivity unto Jerusalem; and appointed the Levites, from twenty years old and upward, to set forward the work of the house of the LORD. EZRA 4 10 And the rest of the nations whom the great and noble Asnapper brought over, and set in the cities of Samaria, and the rest that are on this side the river, and AT such a time. 11 This is the copy of the letter that they sent unto him, even unto Artaxerxes the king; Thy servants the men on this side the river, and AT such a time. 17 Then sent the king an answer unto Rehum the chancellor, and to Shimshai the scribe, and to the rest of their companions that dwell in Samaria, and unto the rest beyond the river, Peace, and AT such a time. 24 Then ceased the work of the house of God which is AT Jerusalem. So it ceased unto the second year of the reign of Darius king of Persia. EZRA 5 2 Then rose up Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel, and Jeshua the son of Jozadak, and began to build the house of God which is AT Jerusalem: and with them were the prophets of God helping them. 3 AT the same time came to them Tatnai, governor on this side the river, and Shetharboznai and their companions, and said thus unto them, Who hath commanded you to build this house, and to make up this wall? 17 Now therefore, if it seem good to the king, let there be search made in the king's treasure house, which is there AT Babylon, whether it be so, that a decree was made of Cyrus the king to build this house of God AT Jerusalem, and let the king send his pleasure to us concerning this matter. EZRA 6 2 And there was found AT Achmetha, in the palace that is in the province of the Medes, a roll, and therein was a record thus written: 3 In the first year of Cyrus the king the same Cyrus the king made a decree concerning the house of God AT Jerusalem, Let the house be builded, the place where they offered sacrifices, and let the foundations thereof be strongly laid; the height thereof threescore cubits, and the breadth thereof threescore cubits; 5 And also let the golden and silver vessels of the house of God, which Nebuchadnezzar took forth out of the temple which is AT Jerusalem, and brought unto Babylon, be restored, and brought again unto the temple which is AT Jerusalem, every one to his place, and place them in the house of God. 9 And that which they have need of, both young bullocks, and rams, and lambs, for the burnt offerings of the God of heaven, wheat, salt, wine, and oil, according to the appointment of the priests which are AT Jerusalem, let it be given them day by day without fail: 12 And the God that hath caused his name to dwell there destroy all kings and people, that shall put to their hand to alter and to destroy this house of God which is AT Jerusalem. I Darius have made a decree; let it be done with speed. 17 And offered AT the dedication of this house of God an hundred bullocks, two hundred rams, four hundred lambs; and for a sin offering for all Israel, twelve he goats, according to the number of the tribes of Israel. 18 And they set the priests in their divisions, and the Levites in their courses, for the service of God, which is AT Jerusalem; as it is written in the book of Moses. --MORE-- |
