ISAIAH 21 13 The burden upon Arabia. In the FOREST in Arabia shall ye lodge, O ye travelling companies of Dedanim. ISAIAH 22 8 And he discovered the covering of Judah, and thou didst look in that day to the armour of the house of the FOREST. ISAIAH 26 11 LORD, when thy hand is lifted up, they will not see: but they shall see, and be ashamed for their envy at the people; yea, the FIRE of thine enemies shall devour them. ISAIAH 27 11 When the boughs thereof are withered, they shall be broken off: the women come, and set them on FIRE: for it is a people of no understanding: therefore he that made them will not have mercy on them, and he that formed them will shew them no favour. ISAIAH 29 6 Thou shalt be visited of the LORD of hosts with thunder, and with earthquake, and great noise, with storm and tempest, and the flame of devouring FIRE. 17 Is it not yet a very little while, and Lebanon shall be turned into a fruitful field, and the fruitful field shall be esteemed as a FOREST? ISAIAH 30 14 And he shall break it as the breaking of the potters' vessel that is broken in pieces; he shall not spare: so that there shall not be found in the bursting of it a sherd to take FIRE from the hearth, or to take water withal out of the pit. 17 One thousand shall flee at the rebuke of one; at the rebuke of FIVE shall ye flee: till ye be left as a beacon upon the top of a mountain, and as an ensign on an hill. 27 Behold, the name of the LORD cometh from far, burning with his anger, and the burden thereof is heavy: his lips are full of indignation, and his tongue as a devouring FIRE: 30 And the LORD shall cause his glorious voice to be heard, and shall shew the lighting down of his arm, with the indignation of his anger, and with the flame of a devouring FIRE, with scattering, and tempest, and hailstones. 33 For Tophet is ordained of old; yea, for the king it is prepared; he hath made it deep and large: the pile thereof is FIRE and much wood; the breath of the LORD, like a stream of brimstone, doth kindle it. ISAIAH 31 9 And he shall pass over to his strong hold for fear, and his princes shall be afraid of the ensign, saith the LORD, whose FIRE is in Zion, and his furnace in Jerusalem. ISAIAH 32 15 Until the spirit be poured upon us from on high, and the wilderness be a fruitful field, and the fruitful field be counted for a FOREST. 19 When it shall hail, coming down on the FOREST; and the city shall be low in a low place. ISAIAH 33 11 Ye shall conceive chaff, ye shall bring forth stubble: your breath, as FIRE, shall devour you. 12 And the people shall be as the burnings of lime: as thorns cut up shall they be burned in the FIRE. 14 The sinners in Zion are afraid; fearfulness hath surprised the hypocrites. Who among us shall dwell with the devouring FIRE? who among us shall dwell with everlasting burnings? ISAIAH 37 19 And have cast their gods into the FIRE: for they were no gods, but the work of men's hands, wood and stone: therefore they have destroyed them. 24 By thy servants hast thou reproached the Lord, and hast said, By the multitude of my chariots am I come up to the height of the mountains, to the sides of Lebanon; and I will cut down the tall cedars thereof, and the choice fir trees thereof: and I will enter into the height of his border, and the FOREST of his Carmel. 36 Then the angel of the LORD went forth, and smote in the camp of the Assyrians a hundred and fourscore and FIVE thousand: and when they arose early in the morning, behold, they were all dead corpses. ISAIAH 42 25 Therefore he hath poured upon him the fury of his anger, and the strength of battle: and it hath set him on FIRE round about, yet he knew not; and it burned him, yet he laid it not to heart. ISAIAH 43 2 When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the FIRE, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee. ISAIAH 44 14 He heweth him down cedars, and taketh the cypress and the oak, which he strengtheneth for himself among the trees of the FOREST: he planteth an ash, and the rain doth nourish it. 16 He burneth part thereof in the FIRE; with part thereof he eateth flesh; he roasteth roast, and is satisfied: yea, he warmeth himself, and saith, Aha, I am warm, I have seen the FIRE: 19 And none considereth in his heart, neither is there knowledge nor understanding to say, I have burned part of it in the FIRE; yea, also I have baked bread upon the coals thereof; I have roasted flesh, and eaten it: and shall I make the residue thereof an abomination? shall I fall down to the stock of a tree? 23 Sing, O ye heavens; for the LORD hath done it: shout, ye lower parts of the earth: break forth into singing, ye mountains, O FOREST, and every tree therein: for the LORD hath redeemed Jacob, and glorified himself in Israel. ISAIAH 47 14 Behold, they shall be as stubble; the FIRE shall burn them; they shall not deliver themselves from the power of the flame: there shall not be a coal to warm at, nor FIRE to sit before it. ISAIAH 50 11 Behold, all ye that kindle a FIRE, that compass yourselves about with sparks: walk in the light of your FIRE, and in the sparks that ye have kindled. This shall ye have of mine hand; ye shall lie down in sorrow. ISAIAH 54 16 Behold, I have created the smith that bloweth the coals in the FIRE, and that bringeth forth an instrument for his work; and I have created the waster to destroy. ISAIAH 56 9 All ye beasts of the field, come to devour, yea, all ye beasts in the FOREST. ISAIAH 64 2 As when the melting FIRE burneth, the FIRE causeth the waters to boil, to make thy name known to thine adversaries, that the nations may tremble at thy presence! 11 Our holy and our beautiful house, where our fathers praised thee, is burned up with FIRE: and all our pleasant things are laid waste. ISAIAH 65 5 Which say, Stand by thyself, come not near to me; for I am holier than thou. These are a smoke in my nose, a FIRE that burneth all the day. ISAIAH 66 15 For, behold, the LORD will come with FIRE, and with his chariots like a whirlwind, to render his anger with fury, and his rebuke with flames of FIRE. 16 For by FIRE and by his sword will the LORD plead with all flesh: and the slain of the LORD shall be many. 24 And they shall go forth, and look upon the carcases of the men that have transgressed against me: for their worm shall not die, neither shall their FIRE be quenched; and they shall be an abhorring unto all flesh. JEREMIAH 4 4 Circumcise yourselves to the LORD, and take away the foreskins of your heart, ye men of Judah and inhabitants of Jerusalem: lest my fury come forth like FIRE, and burn that none can quench it, because of the evil of your doings. JEREMIAH 5 6 Wherefore a lion out of the FOREST shall slay them, and a wolf of the evenings shall spoil them, a leopard shall watch over their cities: every one that goeth out thence shall be torn in pieces: because their transgressions are many, and their backslidings are increased. 14 Wherefore thus saith the LORD God of hosts, Because ye speak this word, behold, I will make my words in thy mouth FIRE, and this people wood, and it shall devour them. JEREMIAH 6 1 O ye children of Benjamin, gather yourselves to flee out of the midst of Jerusalem, and blow the trumpet in Tekoa, and set up a sign of FIRE in Bethhaccerem: for evil appeareth out of the north, and great destruction. 29 The bellows are burned, the lead is consumed of the FIRE; the founder melteth in vain: for the wicked are not plucked away. JEREMIAH 7 18 The children gather wood, and the fathers kindle the FIRE, and the women knead their dough, to make cakes to the queen of heaven, and to pour out drink offerings unto other gods, that they may provoke me to anger. 31 And they have built the high places of Tophet, which is in the valley of the son of Hinnom, to burn their sons and their daughters in the FIRE; which I commanded them not, neither came it into my heart. JEREMIAH 10 3 For the customs of the people are vain: for one cutteth a tree out of the FOREST, the work of the hands of the workman, with the axe. JEREMIAH 11 16 The LORD called thy name, A green olive tree, fair, and of goodly fruit: with the noise of a great tumult he hath kindled FIRE upon it, and the branches of it are broken. JEREMIAH 12 8 Mine heritage is unto me as a lion in the FOREST; it crieth out against me: therefore have I hated it. JEREMIAH 15 14 And I will make thee to pass with thine enemies into a land which thou knowest not: for a FIRE is kindled in mine anger, which shall burn upon you. JEREMIAH 17 4 And thou, even thyself, shalt discontinue from thine heritage that I gave thee; and I will cause thee to serve thine enemies in the land which thou knowest not: for ye have kindled a FIRE in mine anger, which shall burn for ever. 27 But if ye will not hearken unto me to hallow the sabbath day, and not to bear a burden, even entering in at the gates of Jerusalem on the sabbath day; then will I kindle a FIRE in the gates thereof, and it shall devour the palaces of Jerusalem, and it shall not be quenched. JEREMIAH 19 5 They have built also the high places of Baal, to burn their sons with FIRE for burnt offerings unto Baal, which I commanded not, nor spake it, neither came it into my mind: --MORE-- |
