ACTS 15 34 Notwithstanding it pleased Silas to ABIDE there still. ACTS 16 15 And when she was baptized, and her household, she besought us, saying, If ye have judged me to be faithful to the Lord, come into my house, and ABIDE there. And she constrained us. ACTS 20 23 Save that the Holy Ghost witnesseth in every city, saying that bonds and afflictions ABIDE me. ACTS 27 31 Paul said to the centurion and to the soldiers, Except these ABIDE in the ship, ye cannot be saved. ROMANS 4 1 What shall we say then that ABRAHAM our father, as pertaining to the flesh, hath found? 2 For if ABRAHAM were justified by works, he hath whereof to glory; but not before God. 3 For what saith the scripture? ABRAHAM believed God, and it was counted unto him for righteousness. 9 Cometh this blessedness then upon the circumcision only, or upon the uncircumcision also? for we say that faith was reckoned to ABRAHAM for righteousness. 12 And the father of circumcision to them who are not of the circumcision only, but who also walk in the steps of that faith of our father ABRAHAM, which he had being yet uncircumcised. 13 For the promise, that he should be the heir of the world, was not to ABRAHAM, or to his seed, through the law, but through the righteousness of faith. 16 Therefore it is of faith, that it might be by grace; to the end the promise might be sure to all the seed; not to that only which is of the law, but to that also which is of the faith of ABRAHAM; who is the father of us all, ROMANS 8 15 For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, ABBA, Father. ROMANS 9 7 Neither, because they are the seed of ABRAHAM, are they all children: but, In Isaac shall thy seed be called. ROMANS 11 1 I say then, Hath God cast away his people? God forbid. For I also am an Israelite, of the seed of ABRAHAM, of the tribe of Benjamin. 23 And they also, if they ABIDE not still in unbelief, shall be graffed in: for God is able to graff them in again. 1 CORINTHIANS 3 14 If any man's work ABIDE which he hath built thereupon, he shall receive a reward. 1 CORINTHIANS 7 8 I say therefore to the unmarried and widows, It is good for them if they ABIDE even as I. 20 Let every man ABIDE in the same calling wherein he was called. 24 Brethren, let every man, wherein he is called, therein ABIDE with God. 40 But she is happier if she so ABIDE, after my judgment: and I think also that I have the Spirit of God. 1 CORINTHIANS 16 6 And it may be that I will ABIDE, yea, and winter with you, that ye may bring me on my journey whithersoever I go. 2 CORINTHIANS 11 22 Are they Hebrews? so am I. Are they Israelites? so am I. Are they the seed of ABRAHAM? so am I. GALATIANS 3 6 Even as ABRAHAM believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness. 7 Know ye therefore that they which are of faith, the same are the children of ABRAHAM. 8 And the scripture, foreseeing that God would justify the heathen through faith, preached before the gospel unto ABRAHAM, saying, In thee shall all nations be blessed. 9 So then they which be of faith are blessed with faithful ABRAHAM. 14 That the blessing of ABRAHAM might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith. 16 Now to ABRAHAM and his seed were the promises made. He saith not, And to seeds, as of many; but as of one, And to thy seed, which is Christ. 18 For if the inheritance be of the law, it is no more of promise: but God gave it to ABRAHAM by promise. 29 And if ye be Christ's, then are ye ABRAHAM's seed, and heirs according to the promise. GALATIANS 4 6 And because ye are sons, God hath sent forth the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying, ABBA, Father. 22 For it is written, that ABRAHAM had two sons, the one by a bondmaid, the other by a freewoman. PHILIPPIANS 1 24 Nevertheless to ABIDE in the flesh is more needful for you. 25 And having this confidence, I know that I shall ABIDE and continue with you all for your furtherance and joy of faith; 1 TIMOTHY 1 3 As I besought thee to ABIDE still at Ephesus, when I went into Macedonia, that thou mightest charge some that they teach no other doctrine, HEBREWS 2 16 For verily he took not on him the nature of angels; but he took on him the seed of ABRAHAM. HEBREWS 5 4 And no man taketh this honour unto himself, but he that is called of God, as was AARON. HEBREWS 6 13 For when God made promise to ABRAHAM, because he could swear by no greater, he sware by himself, HEBREWS 7 1 For this Melchisedec, king of Salem, priest of the most high God, who met ABRAHAM returning from the slaughter of the kings, and blessed him; 2 To whom also ABRAHAM gave a tenth part of all; first being by interpretation King of righteousness, and after that also King of Salem, which is, King of peace; 4 Now consider how great this man was, unto whom even the patriarch ABRAHAM gave the tenth of the spoils. 5 And verily they that are of the sons of Levi, who receive the office of the priesthood, have a commandment to take tithes of the people according to the law, that is, of their brethren, though they come out of the loins of ABRAHAM: 6 But he whose descent is not counted from them received tithes of ABRAHAM, and blessed him that had the promises. 9 And as I may so say, Levi also, who receiveth tithes, payed tithes in ABRAHAM. 11 If therefore perfection were by the Levitical priesthood, (for under it the people received the law,) what further need was there that another priest should rise after the order of Melchisedec, and not be called after the order of AARON? HEBREWS 11 8 By faith ABRAHAM, when he was called to go out into a place which he should after receive for an inheritance, obeyed; and he went out, not knowing whither he went. 17 By faith ABRAHAM, when he was tried, offered up Isaac: and he that had received the promises offered up his only begotten son, JAMES 2 21 Was not ABRAHAM our father justified by works, when he had offered Isaac his son upon the altar? 23 And the scripture was fulfilled which saith, ABRAHAM believed God, and it was imputed unto him for righteousness: and he was called the Friend of God. 1 PETER 3 6 Even as Sara obeyed ABRAHAM, calling him lord: whose daughters ye are, as long as ye do well, and are not afraid with any amazement. --MORE-- |
