NEHEMIAH 9 2 And the seed of Israel separated themselves from ALL strangers, and stood and confessed their sins, and the iniquities of their fathers. 5 Then the Levites, Jeshua, and Kadmiel, Bani, Hashabniah, Sherebiah, Hodijah, Shebaniah, and Pethahiah, said, Stand up and bless the LORD your God for ever and ever: and blessed be thy glorious name, which is exalted above ALL blessing and praise. 6 Thou, even thou, art LORD alone; thou hast made heaven, the heaven of heavens, with ALL their host, the earth, and ALL things that are therein, the seas, and ALL that is therein, and thou preservest them ALL; and the host of heaven worshippeth thee. 10 And shewedst signs and wonders upon Pharaoh, and on ALL his servants, and on ALL the people of his land: for thou knewest that they dealt proudly against them. So didst thou get thee a name, as it is this day. 25 And they took strong cities, and a fat land, and possessed houses full of ALL goods, wells digged, vineyards, and oliveyards, and fruit trees in abundance: so they did eat, and were filled, and became fat, and delighted themselves in thy great goodness. 32 Now therefore, our God, the great, the mighty, and the terrible God, who keepest covenant and mercy, let not ALL the trouble seem little before thee, that hath come upon us, on our kings, on our princes, and on our priests, and on our prophets, and on our fathers, and on ALL thy people, since the time of the kings of Assyria unto this day. 33 Howbeit thou art just in ALL that is brought upon us; for thou hast done right, but we have done wickedly: 38 And because of ALL this we make a sure covenant, and write it; and our princes, Levites, and priests, seal unto it. NEHEMIAH 10 28 And the rest of the people, the priests, the Levites, the porters, the singers, the Nethinims, and ALL they that had separated themselves from the people of the lands unto the law of God, their wives, their sons, and their daughters, every one having knowledge, and having understanding; 29 They clave to their brethren, their nobles, and entered into a curse, and into an oath, to walk in God's law, which was given by Moses the servant of God, and to observe and do ALL the commandments of the LORD our Lord, and his judgments and his statutes; 33 For the shewbread, and for the continual meat offering, and for the continual burnt offering, of the sabbaths, of the new moons, for the set feasts, and for the holy things, and for the sin offerings to make an atonement for Israel, and for ALL the work of the house of our God. 35 And to bring the firstfruits of our ground, and the firstfruits of ALL fruit of ALL trees, year by year, unto the house of the LORD: 37 And that we should bring the firstfruits of our dough, and our offerings, and the fruit of ALL manner of trees, of wine and of oil, unto the priests, to the chambers of the house of our God; and the tithes of our ground unto the Levites, that the same Levites might have the tithes in ALL the cities of our tillage. NEHEMIAH 11 2 And the people blessed ALL the men, that willingly offered themselves to dwell at Jerusalem. 6 ALL the sons of Perez that dwelt at Jerusalem were four hundred threescore and eight valiant men. 18 ALL the Levites in the holy city were two hundred fourscore and four. 20 And the residue of Israel, of the priests, and the Levites, were in ALL the cities of Judah, every one in his inheritance. 24 And Pethahiah the son of Meshezabeel, of the children of Zerah the son of Judah, was at the king's hand in ALL matters concerning the people. NEHEMIAH 12 27 And at the dedication of the wall of Jerusalem they sought the Levites out of ALL their places, to bring them to Jerusalem, to keep the dedication with gladness, both with thanksgivings, and with singing, with cymbals, psalteries, and with harps. 47 And ALL Israel in the days of Zerubbabel, and in the days of Nehemiah, gave the portions of the singers and the porters, every day his portion: and they sanctified holy things unto the Levites; and the Levites sanctified them unto the children of Aaron. NEHEMIAH 13 3 Now it came to pass, when they had heard the law, that they separated from Israel ALL the mixed multitude. 6 But in ALL this time was not I at Jerusalem: for in the two and thirtieth year of Artaxerxes king of Babylon came I unto the king, and after certain days obtained I leave of the king: 8 And it grieved me sore: therefore I cast forth ALL the household stuff to Tobiah out of the chamber. 12 Then brought ALL Judah the tithe of the corn and the new wine and the oil unto the treasuries. 15 In those days saw I in Judah some treading wine presses on the sabbath, and bringing in sheaves, and lading asses; as also wine, grapes, and figs, and ALL manner of burdens, which they brought into Jerusalem on the sabbath day: and I testified against them in the day wherein they sold victuals. 16 There dwelt men of Tyre also therein, which brought fish, and ALL manner of ware, and sold on the sabbath unto the children of Judah, and in Jerusalem. 18 Did not your fathers thus, and did not our God bring ALL this evil upon us, and upon this city? yet ye bring more wrath upon Israel by profaning the sabbath. 20 So the merchants and sellers of ALL kind of ware lodged without Jerusalem once or twice. 26 Did not Solomon king of Israel sin by these things? yet among many nations was there no king like him, who was beloved of his God, and God made him king over ALL Israel: nevertheless even him did outlandish women cause to sin. 27 Shall we then hearken unto you to do ALL this great evil, to transgress against our God in marrying strange wives? 30 Thus cleansed I them from ALL strangers, and appointed the wards of the priests and the Levites, every one in his business; ESTHER 1 3 In the third year of his reign, he made a feast unto ALL his princes and his servants; the power of Persia and Media, the nobles and princes of the provinces, being before him: 5 And when these days were expired, the king made a feast unto ALL the people that were present in Shushan the palace, both unto great and small, seven days, in the court of the garden of the king's palace; 8 And the drinking was according to the law; none did compel: for so the king had appointed to ALL the officers of his house, that they should do according to every man's pleasure. 13 Then the king said to the wise men, which knew the times, (for so was the king's manner toward ALL that knew law and judgment: 16 And Memucan answered before the king and the princes, Vashti the queen hath not done wrong to the king only, but also to ALL the princes, and to ALL the people that are in ALL the provinces of the king Ahasuerus. 17 For this deed of the queen shall come abroad unto ALL women, so that they shall despise their husbands in their eyes, when it shall be reported, The king Ahasuerus commanded Vashti the queen to be brought in before him, but she came not. 18 Likewise shall the ladies of Persia and Media say this day unto ALL the king's princes, which have heard of the deed of the queen. Thus shall there arise too much contempt and wrath. 20 And when the king's decree which he shall make shall be published throughout ALL his empire, (for it is great,) ALL the wives shall give to their husbands honour, both to great and small. 22 For he sent letters into ALL the king's provinces, into every province according to the writing thereof, and to every people after their language, that every man should bear rule in his own house, and that it should be published according to the language of every people. ESTHER 2 3 And let the king appoint officers in ALL the provinces of his kingdom, that they may gather together ALL the fair young virgins unto Shushan the palace, to the house of the women, unto the custody of Hege the king's chamberlain, keeper of the women; and let their things for purification be given them: 15 Now when the turn of Esther, the daughter of Abihail the uncle of Mordecai, who had taken her for his daughter, was come to go in unto the king, she required nothing but what Hegai the king's chamberlain, the keeper of the women, appointed. And Esther obtained favour in the sight of ALL them that looked upon her. 17 And the king loved Esther above ALL the women, and she obtained grace and favour in his sight more than ALL the virgins; so that he set the royal crown upon her head, and made her queen instead of Vashti. 18 Then the king made a great feast unto ALL his princes and his servants, even Esther's feast; and he made a release to the provinces, and gave gifts, according to the state of the king. ESTHER 3 1 After these things did king Ahasuerus promote Haman the son of Hammedatha the Agagite, and advanced him, and set his seat above ALL the princes that were with him. 2 And ALL the king's servants, that were in the king's gate, bowed, and reverenced Haman: for the king had so commanded concerning him. But Mordecai bowed not, nor did him reverence. 6 And he thought scorn to lay hands on Mordecai alone; for they had shewed him the people of Mordecai: wherefore Haman sought to destroy ALL the Jews that were throughout the whole kingdom of Ahasuerus, even the people of Mordecai. 8 And Haman said unto king Ahasuerus, There is a certain people scattered abroad and dispersed among the people in ALL the provinces of thy kingdom; and their laws are diverse from ALL people; neither keep they the king's laws: therefore it is not for the king's profit to suffer them. 12 Then were the king's scribes called on the thirteenth day of the first month, and there was written according to ALL that Haman had commanded unto the king's lieutenants, and to the governors that were over every province, and to the rulers of every people of every province according to the writing thereof, and to every people after their language; in the name of king Ahasuerus was it written, and sealed with the king's ring. 13 And the letters were sent by posts into ALL the king's provinces, to destroy, to kill, and to cause to perish, ALL Jews, both young and old, little children and women, in one day, even upon the thirteenth day of the twelfth month, which is the month Adar, and to take the spoil of them for a prey. 14 The copy of the writing for a commandment to be given in every province was published unto ALL people, that they should be ready against that day. --MORE-- |
