NUMBERS 30 2 If A man vow A vow unto the LORD, or swear an oath to bind his soul with A bond; he shall not break his word, he shall do according to all that proceedeth out of his mouth. 3 If A woman also vow A vow unto the LORD, and bind herself by A bond, being in her father's house in her youth; 9 But every vow of A widow, and of her that is divorced, wherewith they have bound their souls, shall stand against her. 10 And if she vowed in her husband's house, or bound her soul by A bond with an oath; 16 These are the statutes, which the LORD commanded Moses, between A man and his wife, between the father and his daughter, being yet in her youth in her father's house. NUMBERS 31 4 Of every tribe A thousand, throughout all the tribes of Israel, shall ye send to the war. 5 So there were delivered out of the thousands of Israel, A thousand of every tribe, twelve thousand armed for war. 6 And Moses sent them to the war, A thousand of every tribe, them and Phinehas the son of Eleazar the priest, to the war, with the holy instruments, and the trumpets to blow in his hand. 16 Behold, these caused the children of Israel, through the counsel of Balaam, to commit trespass against the LORD in the matter of Peor, and there was A plague among the congregation of the LORD. 18 But all the women children, that have not known A man by lying with him, keep alive for yourselves. 28 And levy A tribute unto the Lord of the men of war which went out to battle: one soul of five hundred, both of the persons, and of the beeves, and of the asses, and of the sheep: 54 And Moses and Eleazar the priest took the gold of the captains of thousands and of hundreds, and brought it into the tabernacle of the congregation, for A memorial for the children of Israel before the LORD. NUMBERS 32 1 Now the children of Reuben and the children of Gad had A very great multitude of cattle: and when they saw the land of Jazer, and the land of Gilead, that, behold, the place was A place for cattle; 4 Even the country which the LORD smote before the congregation of Israel, is A land for cattle, and thy servants have cattle: 5 Wherefore, said they, if we have found grace in thy sight, let this land be given unto thy servants for A possession, and bring us not over Jordan. 29 And Moses said unto them, If the children of Gad and the children of Reuben will pass with you over Jordan, every man armed to battle, before the LORD, and the land shall be subdued before you; then ye shall give them the land of Gilead for A possession: NUMBERS 33 1 These are the journeys of the children of Israel, which went forth out of the land of Egypt with their armies under the hand of Moses and AARON. 38 And AARON the priest went up into mount Hor at the commandment of the LORD, and died there, in the fortieth year after the children of Israel were come out of the land of Egypt, in the first day of the fifth month. 39 And AARON was an hundred and twenty and three years old when he died in mount Hor. NUMBERS 34 5 And the border shall fetch A compass from Azmon unto the river of Egypt, and the goings out of it shall be at the sea. 6 And as for the western border, ye shall even have the great sea for A border: this shall be your west border. NUMBERS 35 4 And the suburbs of the cities, which ye shall give unto the Levites, shall reach from the wall of the city and outward A thousand cubits round about. 15 These six cities shall be A refuge, both for the children of Israel, and for the stranger, and for the sojourner among them: that every one that killeth any person unawares may flee thither. 16 And if he smite him with an instrument of iron, so that he die, he is A murderer: the murderer shall surely be put to death. 17 And if he smite him with throwing A stone, wherewith he may die, and he die, he is A murderer: the murderer shall surely be put to death. 18 Or if he smite him with an hand weapon of wood, wherewith he may die, and he die, he is A murderer: the murderer shall surely be put to death. 21 Or in enmity smite him with his hand, that he die: he that smote him shall surely be put to death; for he is A murderer: the revenger of blood shall slay the murderer, when he meeteth him. 23 Or with any stone, wherewith A man may die, seeing him not, and cast it upon him, that he die, and was not his enemy, neither sought his harm: 29 So these things shall be for A statute of judgment unto you throughout your generations in all your dwellings. 31 Moreover ye shall take no satisfaction for the life of A murderer, which is guilty of death: but he shall be surely put to death. DEUTERONOMY 1 11 (The LORD God of your fathers make you A thousand times so many more as ye are, and bless you, as he hath promised you!) 23 And the saying pleased me well: and I took twelve men of you, one of A tribe: 25 And they took of the fruit of the land in their hands, and brought it down unto us, and brought us word again, and said, It is A good land which the LORD our God doth give us. 31 And in the wilderness, where thou hast seen how that the LORD thy God bare thee, as A man doth bear his son, in all the way that ye went, until ye came into this place. 33 Who went in the way before you, to search you out A place to pitch your tents in, in fire by night, to shew you by what way ye should go, and in A cloud by day. 39 Moreover your little ones, which ye said should be A prey, and your children, which in that day had no knowledge between good and evil, they shall go in thither, and unto them will I give it, and they shall possess it. DEUTERONOMY 2 5 Meddle not with them; for I will not give you of their land, no, not so much as A foot breadth; because I have given mount Seir unto Esau for A possession. 9 And the LORD said unto me, Distress not the Moabites, neither contend with them in battle: for I will not give thee of their land for A possession; because I have given Ar unto the children of Lot for A possession. 10 The Emims dwelt therein in times past, A people great, and many, and tall, as the Anakims; 19 And when thou comest nigh over against the children of Ammon, distress them not, nor meddle with them: for I will not give thee of the land of the children of Ammon any possession; because I have given it unto the children of Lot for A possession. 20 (That also was accounted A land of giants: giants dwelt therein in old time; and the Ammonites call them Zamzummims; 21 A people great, and many, and tall, as the Anakims; but the LORD destroyed them before them; and they succeeded them, and dwelt in their stead: 35 Only the cattle we took for A prey unto ourselves, and the spoil of the cities which we took. DEUTERONOMY 3 4 And we took all his cities at that time, there was not A city which we took not from them, threescore cities, all the region of Argob, the kingdom of Og in Bashan. 5 All these cities were fenced with high walls, gates, and bars; beside unwalled towns A great many. 7 But all the cattle, and the spoil of the cities, we took for A prey to ourselves. 11 For only Og king of Bashan remained of the remnant of giants; behold his bedstead was A bedstead of iron; is it not in Rabbath of the children of Ammon? nine cubits was the length thereof, and four cubits the breadth of it, after the cubit of A man. DEUTERONOMY 4 6 Keep therefore and do them; for this is your wisdom and your understanding in the sight of the nations, which shall hear all these statutes, and say, Surely this great nation is A wise and understanding people. 12 And the LORD spake unto you out of the midst of the fire: ye heard the voice of the words, but saw no similitude; only ye heard A voice. 16 Lest ye corrupt yourselves, and make you A graven image, the similitude of any figure, the likeness of male or female, 20 But the LORD hath taken you, and brought you forth out of the iron furnace, even out of Egypt, to be unto him A people of inheritance, as ye are this day. 23 Take heed unto yourselves, lest ye forget the covenant of the LORD your God, which he made with you, and make you A graven image, or the likeness of any thing, which the LORD thy God hath forbidden thee. 24 For the LORD thy God is A consuming fire, even A jealous God. 25 When thou shalt beget children, and children's children, and ye shall have remained long in the land, and shall corrupt yourselves, and make A graven image, or the likeness of any thing, and shall do evil in the sight of the LORD thy God, to provoke him to anger: 31 (For the LORD thy God is A merciful God;) he will not forsake thee, neither destroy thee, nor forget the covenant of thy fathers which he sware unto them. 34 Or hath God assayed to go and take him A nation from the midst of another nation, by temptations, by signs, and by wonders, and by war, and by A mighty hand, and by A stretched out arm, and by great terrors, according to all that the LORD your God did for you in Egypt before your eyes? --MORE-- |
