PROVERBS 26 10 The great God that FORMED all things both rewardeth the fool, and rewardeth transgressors. PROVERBS 28 1 The wicked FLEE when no man pursueth: but the righteous are bold as a lion. 17 A man that doeth violence to the blood of any person shall FLEE to the pit; let no man stay him. SONG OF SOLOMON 2 17 Until the day break, and the shadows FLEE away, turn, my beloved, and be thou like a roe or a young hart upon the mountains of Bether. SONG OF SOLOMON 4 6 Until the day break, and the shadows FLEE away, I will get me to the mountain of myrrh, and to the hill of frankincense. ISAIAH 1 4 Ah sinful nation, a people laden with iniquity, a seed of evildoers, children that are corrupters: they have FORSAKEN the LORD, they have provoked the Holy One of Israel unto anger, they are gone away backward. ISAIAH 2 6 Therefore thou hast FORSAKEN thy people the house of Jacob, because they be replenished from the east, and are soothsayers like the Philistines, and they please themselves in the children of strangers. ISAIAH 7 16 For before the child shall know to refuse the evil, and choose the good, the land that thou abhorrest shall be FORSAKEN of both her kings. ISAIAH 10 3 And what will ye do in the day of visitation, and in the desolation which shall come from far? to whom will ye FLEE for help? and where will ye leave your glory? 31 Madmenah is removed; the inhabitants of Gebim gather themselves to FLEE. ISAIAH 13 14 And it shall be as the chased roe, and as a sheep that no man taketh up: they shall every man turn to his own people, and FLEE every one into his own land. ISAIAH 15 5 My heart shall cry out for Moab; his fugitives shall FLEE unto Zoar, an heifer of three years old: for by the mounting up of Luhith with weeping shall they go it up; for in the way of Horonaim they shall raise up a cry of destruction. ISAIAH 17 2 The cities of Aroer are FORSAKEN: they shall be for flocks, which shall lie down, and none shall make them afraid. 9 In that day shall his strong cities be as a FORSAKEN bough, and an uppermost branch, which they left because of the children of Israel: and there shall be desolation. 13 The nations shall rush like the rushing of many waters: but God shall rebuke them, and they shall FLEE far off, and shall be chased as the chaff of the mountains before the wind, and like a rolling thing before the whirlwind. ISAIAH 20 6 And the inhabitant of this isle shall say in that day, Behold, such is our expectation, whither we FLEE for help to be delivered from the king of Assyria: and how shall we escape? ISAIAH 27 10 Yet the defenced city shall be desolate, and the habitation FORSAKEN, and left like a wilderness: there shall the calf feed, and there shall he lie down, and consume the branches thereof. 11 When the boughs thereof are withered, they shall be broken off: the women come, and set them on fire: for it is a people of no understanding: therefore he that made them will not have mercy on them, and he that FORMED them will shew them no favour. ISAIAH 30 16 But ye said, No; for we will FLEE upon horses; therefore shall ye FLEE: and, We will ride upon the swift; therefore shall they that pursue you be swift. 17 One thousand shall FLEE at the rebuke of one; at the rebuke of five shall ye FLEE: till ye be left as a beacon upon the top of a mountain, and as an ensign on an hill. ISAIAH 31 8 Then shall the Assyrian fall with the sword, not of a mighty man; and the sword, not of a mean man, shall devour him: but he shall FLEE from the sword, and his young men shall be discomfited. ISAIAH 32 14 Because the palaces shall be FORSAKEN; the multitude of the city shall be left; the forts and towers shall be for dens for ever, a joy of wild asses, a pasture of flocks; ISAIAH 35 10 And the ransomed of the LORD shall return, and come to Zion with songs and everlasting joy upon their heads: they shall obtain joy and gladness, and sorrow and sighing shall FLEE away. ISAIAH 37 26 Hast thou not heard long ago, how I have done it; and of ancient times, that I have FORMED it? now have I brought it to pass, that thou shouldest be to lay waste defenced cities into ruinous heaps. ISAIAH 40 2 Speak ye comfortably to Jerusalem, and cry unto her, that her warfare is ACCOMPLISHED, that her iniquity is pardoned: for she hath received of the LORD's hand double for all her sins. ISAIAH 43 1 But now thus saith the LORD that created thee, O Jacob, and he that FORMED thee, O Israel, Fear not: for I have redeemed thee, I have called thee by thy name; thou art mine. 7 Even every one that is called by my name: for I have created him for my glory, I have FORMED him; yea, I have made him. 10 Ye are my witnesses, saith the LORD, and my servant whom I have chosen: that ye may know and believe me, and understand that I am he: before me there was no God FORMED, neither shall there be after me. 21 This people have I FORMED for myself; they shall shew forth my praise. ISAIAH 44 2 Thus saith the LORD that made thee, and FORMED thee from the womb, which will help thee; Fear not, O Jacob, my servant; and thou, Jesurun, whom I have chosen. 10 Who hath FORMED a god, or molten a graven image that is profitable for nothing? 21 Remember these, O Jacob and Israel; for thou art my servant: I have FORMED thee; thou art my servant: O Israel, thou shalt not be forgotten of me. 24 Thus saith the LORD, thy redeemer, and he that FORMED thee from the womb, I am the LORD that maketh all things; that stretcheth forth the heavens alone; that spreadeth abroad the earth by myself; ISAIAH 45 18 For thus saith the LORD that created the heavens; God himself that FORMED the earth and made it; he hath established it, he created it not in vain, he FORMED it to be inhabited: I am the LORD; and there is none else. ISAIAH 48 20 Go ye forth of Babylon, FLEE ye from the Chaldeans, with a voice of singing declare ye, tell this, utter it even to the end of the earth; say ye, The LORD hath redeemed his servant Jacob. ISAIAH 49 5 And now, saith the LORD that FORMED me from the womb to be his servant, to bring Jacob again to him, Though Israel be not gathered, yet shall I be glorious in the eyes of the LORD, and my God shall be my strength. 14 But Zion said, The LORD hath FORSAKEN me, and my Lord hath forgotten me. ISAIAH 51 11 Therefore the redeemed of the LORD shall return, and come with singing unto Zion; and everlasting joy shall be upon their head: they shall obtain gladness and joy; and sorrow and mourning shall FLEE away. ISAIAH 54 6 For the LORD hath called thee as a woman FORSAKEN and grieved in spirit, and a wife of youth, when thou wast refused, saith thy God. 7 For a small moment have I FORSAKEN thee; but with great mercies will I gather thee. 17 No weapon that is FORMED against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their righteousness is of me, saith the LORD. ISAIAH 60 15 Whereas thou has been FORSAKEN and hated, so that no man went through thee, I will make thee an eternal excellency, a joy of many generations. ISAIAH 62 4 Thou shalt no more be termed FORSAKEN; neither shall thy land any more be termed Desolate: but thou shalt be called Hephzibah, and thy land Beulah: for the LORD delighteth in thee, and thy land shall be married. 12 And they shall call them, The holy people, The redeemed of the LORD: and thou shalt be called, Sought out, A city not FORSAKEN. JEREMIAH 1 5 Before I FORMED thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations. 16 And I will utter my judgments against them touching all their wickedness, who have FORSAKEN me, and have burned incense unto other gods, and worshipped the works of their own hands. JEREMIAH 2 13 For my people have committed two evils; they have FORSAKEN me the fountain of living waters, and hewed them out cisterns, broken cisterns, that can hold no water. 17 Hast thou not procured this unto thyself, in that thou hast FORSAKEN the LORD thy God, when he led thee by the way? 19 Thine own wickedness shall correct thee, and thy backslidings shall reprove thee: know therefore and see that it is an evil thing and bitter, that thou hast FORSAKEN the LORD thy God, and that my fear is not in thee, saith the Lord GOD of hosts. JEREMIAH 4 29 The whole city shall FLEE for the noise of the horsemen and bowmen; they shall go into thickets, and climb up upon the rocks: every city shall be FORSAKEN, and not a man dwell therein. --MORE-- |
