1 CHRONICLES 24 1 Now these are the divisions of the sons of AARON. The sons of AARON; Nadab, and Abihu, Eleazar, and Ithamar. 19 These were the orderings of them in their service to come into the house of the LORD, according to their manner, under AARON their father, as the LORD God of Israel had commanded him. 31 These likewise cast lots over against their brethren the sons of AARON in the presence of David the king, and Zadok, and Ahimelech, and the chief of the fathers of the priests and Levites, even the principal fathers over against their younger brethren. 1 CHRONICLES 29 28 And he died in a good old AGE, full of days, riches, and honour: and Solomon his son reigned in his stead. 2 CHRONICLES 13 9 Have ye not cast out the priests of the LORD, the sons of AARON, and the Levites, and have made you priests after the manner of the nations of other lands? so that whosoever cometh to consecrate himself with a young bullock and seven rams, the same may be a priest of them that are no gods. 10 But as for us, the LORD is our God, and we have not forsaken him; and the priests, which minister unto the LORD, are the sons of AARON, and the Levites wait upon their business: 2 CHRONICLES 26 18 And they withstood Uzziah the king, and said unto him, It appertaineth not unto thee, Uzziah, to burn incense unto the LORD, but to the priests the sons of AARON, that are consecrated to burn incense: go out of the sanctuary; for thou hast trespassed; neither shall it be for thine honour from the LORD God. 2 CHRONICLES 29 21 And they brought seven bullocks, and seven rams, and seven lambs, and seven he goats, for a sin offering for the kingdom, and for the sanctuary, and for Judah. And he commanded the priests the sons of AARON to offer them on the altar of the LORD. 2 CHRONICLES 31 19 Also of the sons of AARON the priests, which were in the fields of the suburbs of their cities, in every several city, the men that were expressed by name, to give portions to all the males among the priests, and to all that were reckoned by genealogies among the Levites. 2 CHRONICLES 35 14 And afterward they made ready for themselves, and for the priests: because the priests the sons of AARON were busied in offering of burnt offerings and the fat until night; therefore the Levites prepared for themselves, and for the priests the sons of AARON. 2 CHRONICLES 36 17 Therefore he brought upon them the king of the Chaldees, who slew their young men with the sword in the house of their sanctuary, and had no compassion upon young man or maiden, old man, or him that stooped for AGE: he gave them all into his hand. EZRA 7 5 The son of Abishua, the son of Phinehas, the son of Eleazar, the son of AARON the chief priest: NEHEMIAH 10 38 And the priest the son of AARON shall be with the Levites, when the Levites take tithes: and the Levites shall bring up the tithe of the tithes unto the house of our God, to the chambers, into the treasure house. NEHEMIAH 12 47 And all Israel in the days of Zerubbabel, and in the days of Nehemiah, gave the portions of the singers and the porters, every day his portion: and they sanctified holy things unto the Levites; and the Levites sanctified them unto the children of AARON. JOB 5 26 Thou shalt come to thy grave in a full AGE, like as a shock of corn cometh in in his season. JOB 8 8 For enquire, I pray thee, of the former AGE, and prepare thyself to the search of their fathers: JOB 11 17 And thine AGE shall be clearer than the noonday: thou shalt shine forth, thou shalt be as the morning. JOB 13 8 Will ye ACCEPT his person? will ye contend for God? 10 He will surely reprove you, if ye do secretly ACCEPT persons. JOB 30 2 Yea, whereto might the strength of their hands profit me, in whom old AGE was perished? JOB 32 21 Let me not, I pray you, ACCEPT any man's person, neither let me give flattering titles unto man. JOB 42 8 Therefore take unto you now seven bullocks and seven rams, and go to my servant Job, and offer up for yourselves a burnt offering; and my servant Job shall pray for you: for him will I ACCEPT: lest I deal with you after your folly, in that ye have not spoken of me the thing which is right, like my servant Job. PSALM 20 3 Remember all thy offerings, and ACCEPT thy burnt sacrifice; Selah. PSALM 35 25 Let them not say in their hearts, AH, so would we have it: let them not say, We have swallowed him up. PSALM 39 5 Behold, thou hast made my days as an handbreadth; and mine AGE is as nothing before thee: verily every man at his best state is altogether vanity. Selah. PSALM 71 9 Cast me not off in the time of old AGE; forsake me not when my strength faileth. PSALM 77 20 Thou leddest thy people like a flock by the hand of Moses and AARON. PSALM 82 2 How long will ye judge unjustly, and ACCEPT the persons of the wicked? Selah. PSALM 92 14 They shall still bring forth fruit in old AGE; they shall be fat and flourishing; PSALM 99 6 Moses and AARON among his priests, and Samuel among them that call upon his name; they called upon the LORD, and he answered them. PSALM 105 26 He sent Moses his servant; and AARON whom he had chosen. PSALM 106 16 They envied Moses also in the camp, and AARON the saint of the LORD. PSALM 115 10 O house of AARON, trust in the LORD: he is their help and their shield. 12 The LORD hath been mindful of us: he will bless us; he will bless the house of Israel; he will bless the house of AARON. PSALM 118 3 Let the house of AARON now say, that his mercy endureth for ever. PSALM 119 108 ACCEPT, I beseech thee, the freewill offerings of my mouth, O LORD, and teach me thy judgments. PSALM 135 19 Bless the LORD, O house of Israel: bless the LORD, O house of AARON: PROVERBS 18 5 It is not good to ACCEPT the person of the wicked, to overthrow the righteous in judgment. ISAIAH 1 4 AH sinful nation, a people laden with iniquity, a seed of evildoers, children that are corrupters: they have forsaken the LORD, they have provoked the Holy One of Israel unto anger, they are gone away backward. 24 Therefore saith the LORD, the LORD of hosts, the mighty One of Israel, AH, I will ease me of mine adversaries, and avenge me of mine enemies: ISAIAH 38 12 Mine AGE is departed, and is removed from me as a shepherd's tent: I have cut off like a weaver my life: he will cut me off with pining sickness: from day even to night wilt thou make an end of me. ISAIAH 46 4 And even to your old AGE I am he; and even to hoar hairs will I carry you: I have made, and I will bear; even I will carry, and will deliver you. JEREMIAH 1 6 Then said I, AH, Lord GOD! behold, I cannot speak: for I am a child. JEREMIAH 4 10 Then said I, AH, Lord GOD! surely thou hast greatly deceived this people and Jerusalem, saying, Ye shall have peace; whereas the sword reacheth unto the soul. JEREMIAH 14 10 Thus saith the LORD unto this people, Thus have they loved to wander, they have not refrained their feet, therefore the LORD doth not ACCEPT them; he will now remember their iniquity, and visit their sins. 12 When they fast, I will not hear their cry; and when they offer burnt offering and an oblation, I will not ACCEPT them: but I will consume them by the sword, and by the famine, and by the pestilence. 13 Then said I, AH, Lord GOD! behold, the prophets say unto them, Ye shall not see the sword, neither shall ye have famine; but I will give you assured peace in this place. JEREMIAH 22 18 Therefore thus saith the LORD concerning Jehoiakim the son of Josiah king of Judah; They shall not lament for him, saying, AH my brother! or, AH sister! they shall not lament for him, saying, AH lord! or, AH his glory! JEREMIAH 32 17 AH Lord GOD! behold, thou hast made the heaven and the earth by thy great power and stretched out arm, and there is nothing too hard for thee: JEREMIAH 34 5 But thou shalt die in peace: and with the burnings of thy fathers, the former kings which were before thee, so shall they burn odours for thee; and they will lament thee, saying, AH lord! for I have pronounced the word, saith the LORD. --MORE-- |
