DEUTERONOMY 24 4 Her former husband, which sent her away, may not take her again to be his wife, after that she is defiled; for that is abomination before the LORD: and thou shalt not cause the land to sin, which the LORD thy God giveth thee for AN inheritance. 14 Thou shalt not oppress AN hired servant that is poor and needy, whether he be of thy brethren, or of thy strangers that are in thy land within thy gates: DEUTERONOMY 25 5 If brethren dwell together, and one of them die, and have no child, the wife of the dead shall not marry without unto a stranger: her husband's brother shall go in unto her, and take her to him to wife, and perform the duty of AN husband's brother unto her. 16 For all that do such things, and all that do unrighteously, are AN abomination unto the LORD thy God. 19 Therefore it shall be, when the LORD thy God hath given thee rest from all thine enemies round about, in the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee for AN inheritance to possess it, that thou shalt blot out the remembrance of Amalek from under heaven; thou shalt not forget it. DEUTERONOMY 26 1 And it shall be, when thou art come in unto the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee for AN inheritance, and possessest it, and dwellest therein; 8 And the LORD brought us forth out of Egypt with a mighty hand, and with AN outstretched arm, and with great terribleness, and with signs, and with wonders: 12 When thou hast made AN end of tithing all the tithes of thine increase the third year, which is the year of tithing, and hast given it unto the Levite, the stranger, the fatherless, and the widow, that they may eat within thy gates, and be filled; 19 And to make thee high above all nations which he hath made, in praise, and in name, and in honour; and that thou mayest be AN holy people unto the LORD thy God, as he hath spoken. DEUTERONOMY 27 5 And there shalt thou build AN altar unto the LORD thy God, AN altar of stones: thou shalt not lift up any iron tool upon them. 15 Cursed be the man that maketh any graven or molten image, AN abomination unto the LORD, the work of the hands of the craftsman, and putteth it in a secret place. And all the people shall answer and say, AMEN. 16 Cursed be he that setteth light by his father or his mother. And all the people shall say, AMEN. 17 Cursed be he that removeth his neighbour's landmark. And all the people shall say, AMEN. 18 Cursed be he that maketh the blind to wander out of the way. And all the people shall say, AMEN. 19 Cursed be he that perverteth the judgment of the stranger, fatherless, and widow. And all the people shall say, AMEN. 20 Cursed be he that lieth with his father's wife; because he uncovereth his father's skirt. And all the people shall say, AMEN. 21 Cursed be he that lieth with any manner of beast. And all the people shall say, AMEN. 22 Cursed be he that lieth with his sister, the daughter of his father, or the daughter of his mother. And all the people shall say, AMEN. 23 Cursed be he that lieth with his mother in law. And all the people shall say, AMEN. 24 Cursed be he that smiteth his neighbour secretly. And all the people shall say, AMEN. 25 Cursed be he that taketh reward to slay AN innocent person. And all the people shall say, AMEN. 26 Cursed be he that confirmeth not all the words of this law to do them. And all the people shall say, AMEN. DEUTERONOMY 28 9 The LORD shall establish thee AN holy people unto himself, as he hath sworn unto thee, if thou shalt keep the commandments of the LORD thy God, and walk in his ways. 22 The LORD shall smite thee with a consumption, and with a fever, and with AN inflammation, and with AN extreme burning, and with the sword, and with blasting, and with mildew; and they shall pursue thee until thou perish. 30 Thou shalt betroth a wife, and another man shall lie with her: thou shalt build AN house, and thou shalt not dwell therein: thou shalt plant a vineyard, and shalt not gather the grapes thereof. 37 And thou shalt become AN astonishment, a proverb, and a byword, among all nations whither the LORD shall lead thee. DEUTERONOMY 29 4 Yet the LORD hath not given you AN heart to perceive, and eyes to see, and ears to hear, unto this day. 8 And we took their land, and gave it for AN inheritance unto the Reubenites, and to the Gadites, and to the half tribe of Manasseh. DEUTERONOMY 31 2 And he said unto them, I am AN hundred and twenty years old this day; I can no more go out and come in: also the LORD hath said unto me, Thou shalt not go over this Jordan. 24 And it came to pass, when Moses had made AN end of writing the words of this law in a book, until they were finished, DEUTERONOMY 32 11 As AN eagle stirreth up her nest, fluttereth over her young, spreadeth abroad her wings, taketh them, beareth them on her wings: 45 And Moses made AN end of speaking all these words to all Israel: DEUTERONOMY 33 7 And this is the blessing of Judah: and he said, Hear, LORD, the voice of Judah, and bring him unto his people: let his hands be sufficient for him; and be thou AN help to him from his enemies. DEUTERONOMY 34 7 And Moses was AN hundred and twenty years old when he died: his eye was not dim, nor his natural force abated. JOSHUA 1 6 Be strong and of a good courage: for unto this people shalt thou divide for AN inheritance the land, which I sware unto their fathers to give them. JOSHUA 2 1 And Joshua the son of Nun sent out of Shittim two men to spy secretly, saying, Go view the land, even Jericho. And they went, and came into AN harlot's house, named Rahab, and lodged there. JOSHUA 3 13 And it shall come to pass, as soon as the soles of the feet of the priests that bear the ark of the LORD, the LORD of all the earth, shall rest in the waters of Jordan, that the waters of Jordan shall be cut off from the waters that come down from above; and they shall stand upon AN heap. 16 That the waters which came down from above stood and rose up upon AN heap very far from the city Adam, that is beside Zaretan: and those that came down toward the sea of the plain, even the salt sea, failed, and were cut off: and the people passed over right against Jericho. JOSHUA 7 13 Up, sanctify the people, and say, Sanctify yourselves against to morrow: for thus saith the LORD God of Israel, There is AN accursed thing in the midst of thee, O Israel: thou canst not stand before thine enemies, until ye take away the accursed thing from among you. JOSHUA 8 2 And thou shalt do to Ai and her king as thou didst unto Jericho and her king: only the spoil thereof, and the cattle thereof, shall ye take for a prey unto yourselves: lay thee AN ambush for the city behind it. 24 And it came to pass, when Israel had made AN end of slaying all the inhabitants of Ai in the field, in the wilderness wherein they chased them, and when they were all fallen on the edge of the sword, until they were consumed, that all the Israelites returned unto Ai, and smote it with the edge of the sword. 28 And Joshua burnt Ai, and made it AN heap for ever, even a desolation unto this day. 30 Then Joshua built AN altar unto the LORD God of Israel in mount Ebal, 31 As Moses the servant of the LORD commanded the children of Israel, as it is written in the book of the law of Moses, AN altar of whole stones, over which no man hath lift up any iron: and they offered thereon burnt offerings unto the LORD, and sacrificed peace offerings. JOSHUA 10 20 And it came to pass, when Joshua and the children of Israel had made AN end of slaying them with a very great slaughter, till they were consumed, that the rest which remained of them entered into fenced cities. JOSHUA 11 23 So Joshua took the whole land, according to all that the LORD said unto Moses; and Joshua gave it for AN inheritance unto Israel according to their divisions by their tribes. And the land rested from war. JOSHUA 13 6 All the inhabitants of the hill country from Lebanon unto Misrephothmaim, and all the Sidonians, them will I drive out from before the children of Israel: only divide thou it by lot unto the Israelites for AN inheritance, as I have commanded thee. 7 Now therefore divide this land for AN inheritance unto the nine tribes, and the half tribe of Manasseh, JOSHUA 14 3 For Moses had given the inheritance of two tribes and AN half tribe on the other side Jordan: but unto the Levites he gave none inheritance among them. 13 And Joshua blessed him, and gave unto Caleb the son of Jephunneh Hebron for AN inheritance. --MORE-- |
