EZRA 10 3 Now therefore let us make a covenant with our God to put away all the wives, and such as ARE born of them, according to the counsel of my lord, and of those that tremble at the commandment of our God; and let it be done according to the law. 13 But the people ARE many, and it is a time of much rain, and we ARE not able to stand without, neither is this a work of one day or two: for we ARE many that have transgressed in this thing. NEHEMIAH 4 2 And he spake before his brethren and the army of Samaria, and said, What do these feeble Jews? will they fortify themselves? will they sacrifice? will they make an end in a day? will they revive the stones out of the heaps of the rubbish which ARE burned? 4 Hear, O our God; for we ARE despised: and turn their reproach upon their own head, and give them for a prey in the land of captivity: 10 And Judah said, The strength of the bearers of burdens is decayed, and there is much rubbish; so that we ARE not able to build the wall. 19 And I said unto the nobles, and to the rulers, and to the rest of the people, The work is great and large, and we ARE separated upon the wall, one far from another. NEHEMIAH 5 2 For there were that said, We, our sons, and our daughters, ARE many: therefore we take up corn for them, that we may eat, and live. 5 Yet now our flesh is as the flesh of our brethren, our children as their children: and, lo, we bring into bondage our sons and our daughters to be servants, and some of our daughters ARE brought unto bondage already: neither is it in our power to redeem them; for other men have our lands and vineyards. 17 Moreover there were at my table an hundred and fifty of the Jews and rulers, beside those that came unto us from among the heathen that ARE about us. NEHEMIAH 6 8 Then I sent unto him, saying, There ARE no such things done as thou sayest, but thou feignest them out of thine own heart. NEHEMIAH 10 39 For the children of Israel and the children of Levi shall bring the offering of the corn, of the new wine, and the oil, unto the chambers, where ARE the vessels of the sanctuary, and the priests that minister, and the porters, and the singers: and we will not forsake the house of our God. NEHEMIAH 11 3 Now these ARE the chief of the province that dwelt in Jerusalem: but in the cities of Judah dwelt every one in his possession in their cities, to wit, Israel, the priests, and the Levites, and the Nethinims, and the children of Solomon's servants. 7 And these ARE the sons of Benjamin; Sallu the son of Meshullam, the son of Joed, the son of Pedaiah, the son of Kolaiah, the son of Maaseiah, the son of Ithiel, the son of Jesaiah. NEHEMIAH 12 1 Now these ARE the priests and the Levites that went up with Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel, and Jeshua: Seraiah, Jeremiah, Ezra, ESTHER 1 16 And Memucan answered before the king and the princes, Vashti the queen hath not done wrong to the king only, but also to all the princes, and to all the people that ARE in all the provinces of the king Ahasuerus. ESTHER 3 8 And Haman said unto king Ahasuerus, There is a certain people scattered abroad and dispersed among the people in all the provinces of thy kingdom; and their laws ARE diverse from all people; neither keep they the king's laws: therefore it is not for the king's profit to suffer them. --MORE-- |
