Searching for: PRISON,PROPHET
ACTS 13 6 And when they had gone through the isle unto Paphos, they found a certain sorcerer, a false PROPHET, a Jew, whose name was Barjesus: 20 And after that he gave unto them judges about the space of four hundred and fifty years, until Samuel the PROPHET. ACTS 16 23 And when they had laid many stripes upon them, they cast them into PRISON, charging the jailor to keep them safely: 24 Who, having received such a charge, thrust them into the inner PRISON, and made their feet fast in the stocks. 26 And suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the PRISON were shaken: and immediately all the doors were opened, and every one's bands were loosed. 27 And the keeper of the PRISON awaking out of his sleep, and seeing the PRISON doors open, he drew out his sword, and would have killed himself, supposing that the prisoners had been fled. 36 And the keeper of the PRISON told this saying to Paul, The magistrates have sent to let you go: now therefore depart, and go in peace. 37 But Paul said unto them, They have beaten us openly uncondemned, being Romans, and have cast us into PRISON; and now do they thrust us out privily? nay verily; but let them come themselves and fetch us out. 40 And they went out of the PRISON, and entered into the house of Lydia: and when they had seen the brethren, they comforted them, and departed. ACTS 21 10 And as we tarried there many days, there came down from Judaea a certain PROPHET, named Agabus. ACTS 26 10 Which thing I also did in Jerusalem: and many of the saints did I shut up in PRISON, having received authority from the chief priests; and when they were put to death, I gave my voice against them. ACTS 28 25 And when they agreed not among themselves, they departed, after that Paul had spoken one word, Well spake the Holy Ghost by Esaias the PROPHET unto our fathers, 1 CORINTHIANS 14 37 If any man think himself to be a PROPHET, or spiritual, let him acknowledge that the things that I write unto you are the commandments of the Lord. TITUS 1 12 One of themselves, even a PROPHET of their own, said, The Cretians are alway liars, evil beasts, slow bellies. 1 PETER 3 19 By which also he went and preached unto the spirits in PRISON; 2 PETER 2 16 But was rebuked for his iniquity: the dumb ass speaking with man's voice forbad the madness of the PROPHET. REVELATION 2 10 Fear none of those things which thou shalt suffer: behold, the devil shall cast some of you into PRISON, that ye may be tried; and ye shall have tribulation ten days: be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee a crown of life. REVELATION 16 13 And I saw three unclean spirits like frogs come out of the mouth of the dragon, and out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false PROPHET. REVELATION 19 20 And the beast was taken, and with him the false PROPHET that wrought miracles before him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast, and them that worshipped his image. These both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone. REVELATION 20 7 And when the thousand years are expired, Satan shall be loosed out of his PRISON, 10 And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false PROPHET are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever. --END-- |
