ACTS 3
8 And he leaping up stood, and walked, and entered with them into the temple, walking, and leaping, and praising GOD.
9 And all the people saw him walking and praising GOD:
10 And they knew that it was he which sat FOR alms at the Beautiful gate of the temple: and they were filled with wonder and amazement at that which had happened unto him.
13 The GOD of Abraham, and of Isaac, and of Jacob, the GOD of our fathers, hath glorified his Son Jesus; whom ye delivered up, and denied him in the presence of Pilate, when he was determined to let him go.
15 And killed the Prince of life, whom GOD hath raised from the dead; whereof we are witnesses.
18 But those things, which GOD before had shewed by the mouth of all his prophets, that Christ should suffer, he hath so fulfilled.
21 Whom the heaven must receive until the times of restitution of all things, which GOD hath spoken by the mouth of all his holy prophets since the world began.
22 FOR Moses truly said unto the fathers, A prophet shall the Lord your GOD raise up unto you of your brethren, like unto me; him shall ye hear in all things whatsoever he shall say unto you.
25 Ye are the children of the prophets, and of the covenant which GOD made with our fathers, saying unto Abraham, And in thy seed shall all the kindreds of the earth be blessed.
26 Unto you first GOD, having raised up his Son Jesus, sent him to bless you, in turning away every one of you from his iniquities.
ACTS 4
3 And they laid hands on them, and put them in hold unto the next day: FOR it was now eventide.
10 Be it known unto you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom ye crucified, whom GOD raised from the dead, even by him doth this man stand here before you whole.
12 Neither is there salvation in any other: FOR there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.
16 Saying, What shall we do to these men? FOR that indeed a notable miracle hath been done by them is manifest to all them that dwell in Jerusalem; and we cannot deny it.
19 But Peter and John answered and said unto them, Whether it be right in the sight of GOD to hearken unto you more than unto GOD, judge ye.
20 FOR we cannot but speak the things which we have seen and heard.
21 So when they had further threatened them, they let them go, finding nothing how they might punish them, because of the people: FOR all men glorified GOD FOR that which was done.
22 FOR the man was above forty years old, on whom this miracle of healing was shewed.
24 And when they heard that, they lifted up their voice to GOD with one accord, and said, Lord, thou art GOD, which hast made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and all that in them is:
27 FOR of a truth against thy holy child Jesus, whom thou hast anointed, both Herod, and Pontius Pilate, with the Gentiles, and the people of Israel, were gathered together,
28 FOR to do whatsoever thy hand and thy counsel determined before to be done.
31 And when they had prayed, the place was shaken where they were assembled together; and they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and they spake the word of GOD with boldness.
34 Neither was there any among them that lacked: FOR as many as were possessors of lands or houses sold them, and brought the prices of the things that were sold,
ACTS 5
4 Whiles it remained, was it not thine own? and after it was sold, was it not in thine own power? why hast thou conceived this thing in thine heart? thou hast not lied unto men, but unto GOD.
8 And Peter answered unto her, Tell me whether ye sold the land FOR so much? And she said, Yea, FOR so much.
26 Then went the captain with the officers, and brought them without violence: FOR they feared the people, lest they should have been stoned.
29 Then Peter and the other apostles answered and said, We ought to obey GOD rather than men.
30 The GOD of our fathers raised up Jesus, whom ye slew and hanged on a tree.
31 Him hath GOD exalted with his right hand to be a Prince and a Saviour, FOR to give repentance to Israel, and forgiveness of sins.
32 And we are his witnesses of these things; and so is also the Holy Ghost, whom GOD hath given to them that obey him.
36 FOR before these days rose up Theudas, boasting himself to be somebody; to whom a number of men, about four hundred, joined themselves: who was slain; and all, as many as obeyed him, were scattered, and brought to nought.
38 And now I say unto you, Refrain from these men, and let them alone: FOR if this counsel or this work be of men, it will come to nought:
39 But if it be of GOD, ye cannot overthrow it; lest haply ye be found even to fight against GOD.
41 And they departed from the presence of the council, rejoicing that they were counted worthy to suffer shame FOR his name.
ACTS 6
2 Then the twelve called the multitude of the disciples unto them, and said, It is not reason that we should leave the word of GOD, and serve tables.
7 And the word of GOD increased; and the number of the disciples multiplied in Jerusalem greatly; and a great company of the priests were obedient to the faith.
11 Then they suborned men, which said, We have heard him speak blasphemous words against Moses, and against GOD.
14 FOR we have heard him say, that this Jesus of Nazareth shall destroy this place, and shall change the customs which Moses delivered us.
ACTS 7
2 And he said, Men, brethren, and fathers, hearken; The GOD of glory appeared unto our father Abraham, when he was in Mesopotamia, before he dwelt in Charran,
5 And he gave him none inheritance in it, no, not so much as to set his foot on: yet he promised that he would give it to him FOR a possession, and to his seed after him, when as yet he had no child.
6 And GOD spake on this wise, That his seed should sojourn in a strange land; and that they should bring them into bondage, and entreat them evil four hundred years.
7 And the nation to whom they shall be in bondage will I judge, said GOD: and after that shall they come forth, and serve me in this place.
9 And the patriarchs, moved with envy, sold Joseph into Egypt: but GOD was with him,
16 And were carried over into Sychem, and laid in the sepulchre that Abraham bought FOR a sum of money of the sons of Emmor the father of Sychem.
17 But when the time of the promise drew nigh, which GOD had sworn to Abraham, the people grew and multiplied in Egypt,
21 And when he was cast out, Pharaoh's daughter took him up, and nourished him FOR her own son.
25 FOR he supposed his brethren would have understood how that GOD by his hand would deliver them: but they understood not.
32 Saying, I am the GOD of thy fathers, the GOD of Abraham, and the GOD of Isaac, and the GOD of Jacob. Then Moses trembled, and durst not behold.
33 Then said the Lord to him, Put off thy shoes from thy feet: FOR the place where thou standest is holy ground.
35 This Moses whom they refused, saying, Who made thee a ruler and a judge? the same did GOD send to be a ruler and a deliverer by the hand of the angel which appeared to him in the bush.
37 This is that Moses, which said unto the children of Israel, A prophet shall the Lord your GOD raise up unto you of your brethren, like unto me; him shall ye hear.
40 Saying unto Aaron, Make us gods to go before us: FOR as FOR this Moses, which brought us out of the land of Egypt, we wot not what is become of him.
42 Then GOD turned, and gave them up to worship the host of heaven; as it is written in the book of the prophets, O ye house of Israel, have ye offered to me slain beasts and sacrifices by the space of forty years in the wilderness?
43 Yea, ye took up the tabernacle of Moloch, and the star of your GOD Remphan, figures which ye made to worship them: and I will carry you away beyond Babylon.
45 Which also our fathers that came after brought in with Jesus into the possession of the Gentiles, whom GOD drave out before the face of our fathers, unto the days of David;
46 Who found favour before GOD, and desired to find a tabernacle FOR the GOD of Jacob.
55 But he, being full of the Holy Ghost, looked up stedfastly into heaven, and saw the glory of GOD, and Jesus standing on the right hand of GOD,
56 And said, Behold, I see the heavens opened, and the Son of man standing on the right hand of GOD.
59 And they stoned Stephen, calling upon GOD, and saying, Lord Jesus, receive my spirit.
