ACTS 6
2 Then the twelve called the multitude of the disciples unto them, and said, It is not reason that we should leave the word of GOD, and serve tables.
7 And the word of GOD increased; and the number of the disciples multiplied in Jerusalem greatly; and a great company of the priests were obedient to the faith.
11 Then they suborned men, which said, We have heard him speak blasphemous words against Moses, and against GOD.
14 FOR we have heard him say, that this Jesus of Nazareth shall destroy this place, and shall change the customs which Moses delivered us.
ACTS 7
2 And he said, Men, brethren, and fathers, hearken; The GOD of glory appeared unto our father Abraham, when he was in Mesopotamia, before he dwelt in Charran,
5 And he gave him none inheritance in it, no, not so much as to set his foot on: yet he promised that he would give it to him FOR a possession, and to his seed after him, when as yet he had no child.
6 And GOD spake on this wise, That his seed should sojourn in a strange land; and that they should bring them into bondage, and entreat them evil four hundred years.
7 And the nation to whom they shall be in bondage will I judge, said GOD: and after that shall they come forth, and serve me in this place.
9 And the patriarchs, moved with envy, sold Joseph into Egypt: but GOD was with him,
16 And were carried over into Sychem, and laid in the sepulchre that Abraham bought FOR a sum of money of the sons of Emmor the father of Sychem.
17 But when the time of the promise drew nigh, which GOD had sworn to Abraham, the people grew and multiplied in Egypt,
21 And when he was cast out, Pharaoh's daughter took him up, and nourished him FOR her own son.
25 FOR he supposed his brethren would have understood how that GOD by his hand would deliver them: but they understood not.
32 Saying, I am the GOD of thy fathers, the GOD of Abraham, and the GOD of Isaac, and the GOD of Jacob. Then Moses trembled, and durst not behold.
33 Then said the Lord to him, Put off thy shoes from thy feet: FOR the place where thou standest is holy ground.
35 This Moses whom they refused, saying, Who made thee a ruler and a judge? the same did GOD send to be a ruler and a deliverer by the hand of the angel which appeared to him in the bush.
37 This is that Moses, which said unto the children of Israel, A prophet shall the Lord your GOD raise up unto you of your brethren, like unto me; him shall ye hear.
40 Saying unto Aaron, Make us gods to go before us: FOR as FOR this Moses, which brought us out of the land of Egypt, we wot not what is become of him.
42 Then GOD turned, and gave them up to worship the host of heaven; as it is written in the book of the prophets, O ye house of Israel, have ye offered to me slain beasts and sacrifices by the space of forty years in the wilderness?
43 Yea, ye took up the tabernacle of Moloch, and the star of your GOD Remphan, figures which ye made to worship them: and I will carry you away beyond Babylon.
45 Which also our fathers that came after brought in with Jesus into the possession of the Gentiles, whom GOD drave out before the face of our fathers, unto the days of David;
46 Who found favour before GOD, and desired to find a tabernacle FOR the GOD of Jacob.
55 But he, being full of the Holy Ghost, looked up stedfastly into heaven, and saw the glory of GOD, and Jesus standing on the right hand of GOD,
56 And said, Behold, I see the heavens opened, and the Son of man standing on the right hand of GOD.
59 And they stoned Stephen, calling upon GOD, and saying, Lord Jesus, receive my spirit.
ACTS 8
3 As FOR Saul, he made havock of the church, entering into every house, and haling men and women committed them to prison.
7 FOR unclean spirits, crying with loud voice, came out of many that were possessed with them: and many taken with palsies, and that were lame, were healed.
10 To whom they all gave heed, from the least to the greatest, saying, This man is the great power of GOD.
12 But when they believed Philip preaching the things concerning the kingdom of GOD, and the name of Jesus Christ, they were baptized, both men and women.
14 Now when the apostles which were at Jerusalem heard that Samaria had received the word of GOD, they sent unto them Peter and John:
15 Who, when they were come down, prayed FOR them, that they might receive the Holy Ghost:
16 (FOR as yet he was fallen upon none of them: only they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus.)
20 But Peter said unto him, Thy money perish with thee, because thou hast thought that the gift of GOD may be purchased with money.
21 Thou hast neither part nor lot in this matter: FOR thy heart is not right in the sight of GOD.
22 Repent therefore of this thy wickedness, and pray GOD, if perhaps the thought of thine heart may be forgiven thee.
23 FOR I perceive that thou art in the gall of bitterness, and in the bond of iniquity.
24 Then answered Simon, and said, Pray ye to the LORD FOR me, that none of these things which ye have spoken come upon me.
27 And he arose and went: and, behold, a man of Ethiopia, an eunuch of great authority under Candace queen of the Ethiopians, who had the charge of all her treasure, and had come to Jerusalem FOR to worship,
33 In his humiliation his judgment was taken away: and who shall declare his generation? FOR his life is taken from the earth.
37 And Philip said, If thou believest with all thine heart, thou mayest. And he answered and said, I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of GOD.
ACTS 9
5 And he said, Who art thou, Lord? And the Lord said, I am Jesus whom thou persecutest: it is hard FOR thee to kick against the pricks.
11 And the Lord said unto him, Arise, and go into the street which is called Straight, and enquire in the house of Judas FOR one called Saul, of Tarsus: FOR, behold, he prayeth,
15 But the Lord said unto him, Go thy way: FOR he is a chosen vessel unto me, to bear my name before the Gentiles, and kings, and the children of Israel:
16 FOR I will shew him how great things he must suffer FOR my name's sake.
20 And straightway he preached Christ in the synagogues, that he is the Son of GOD.
21 But all that heard him were amazed, and said; Is not this he that destroyed them which called on this name in Jerusalem, and came hither FOR that intent, that he might bring them bound unto the chief priests?
ACTS 10
2 A devout man, and one that feared GOD with all his house, which gave much alms to the people, and prayed to GOD alway.
3 He saw in a vision evidently about the ninth hour of the day an angel of GOD coming in to him, and saying unto him, Cornelius.
4 And when he looked on him, he was afraid, and said, What is it, Lord? And he said unto him, Thy prayers and thine alms are come up FOR a memorial before GOD.
5 And now send men to Joppa, and call FOR one Simon, whose surname is Peter:
12 Wherein were all manner of fourfooted beasts of the earth, and wild beasts, and creeping things, and FOWLS of the air.
14 But Peter said, Not so, Lord; FOR I have never eaten any thing that is common or unclean.
15 And the voice spake unto him again the second time, What GOD hath cleansed, that call not thou common.
17 Now while Peter doubted in himself what this vision which he had seen should mean, behold, the men which were sent from Cornelius had made enquiry FOR Simon's house, and stood before the gate,
20 Arise therefore, and get thee down, and go with them, doubting nothing: FOR I have sent them.
22 And they said, Cornelius the centurion, a just man, and one that feareth GOD, and of good report among all the nation of the Jews, was warned from GOD by an holy angel to send FOR thee into his house, and to hear words of thee.
24 And the morrow after they entered into Caesarea. And Cornelius waited FOR them, and he had called together his kinsmen and near friends.
28 And he said unto them, Ye know how that it is an unlawful thing FOR a man that is a Jew to keep company, or come unto one of another nation; but GOD hath shewed me that I should not call any man common or unclean.
29 Therefore came I unto you without gainsaying, as soon as I was sent FOR: I ask therefore FOR what intent ye have sent FOR me?
31 And said, Cornelius, thy prayer is heard, and thine alms are had in remembrance in the sight of GOD.
33 Immediately therefore I sent to thee; and thou hast well done that thou art come. Now therefore are we all here present before GOD, to hear all things that are commanded thee of GOD.
34 Then Peter opened his mouth, and said, Of a truth I perceive that GOD is no respecter of persons:
36 The word which GOD sent unto the children of Israel, preaching peace by Jesus Christ: (he is Lord of all:)
38 How GOD anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; FOR GOD was with him.
40 Him GOD raised up the third day, and shewed him openly;
41 Not to all the people, but unto witnesses chosen before GOD, even to us, who did eat and drink with him after he rose from the dead.
42 And he commanded us to preach unto the people, and to testify that it is he which was ordained of GOD to be the Judge of quick and dead.
46 FOR they heard them speak with tongues, and magnify GOD. Then answered Peter,
