PSALM 58 6 Break their teeth, O GOD, in their mouth: break out the great teeth of the young lions, O LORD. 11 So that a man shall say, Verily there is a reward FOR the righteous: verily he is a GOD that judgeth in the earth. PSALM 60 1 O GOD, thou hast cast us off, thou hast scattered us, thou hast been displeased; O turn thyself to us again. 2 Thou hast made the earth to tremble; thou hast broken it: heal the breaches thereof; FOR it shaketh. 6 GOD hath spoken in his holiness; I will rejoice, I will divide Shechem, and mete out the valley of Succoth. 10 Wilt not thou, O GOD, which hadst cast us off? and thou, O GOD, which didst not go out with our armies? 11 Give us help from trouble: FOR vain is the help of man. 12 Through GOD we shall do valiantly: FOR he it is that shall tread down our enemies. PSALM 61 1 Hear my cry, O GOD; attend unto my prayer. 3 FOR thou hast been a shelter FOR me, and a strong tower from the enemy. 4 I will abide in thy tabernacle FOR ever: I will trust in the covert of thy wings. PSALM 62 1 Truly my soul waiteth upon GOD: from him cometh my salvation. 5 My soul, wait thou only upon GOD; FOR my expectation is from him. 7 In GOD is my salvation and my glory: the rock of my strength, and my refuge, is in GOD. 8 Trust in him at all times; ye people, pour out your heart before him: GOD is a refuge FOR us. Selah. 11 GOD hath spoken once; twice have I heard this; that power belongeth unto GOD. 12 Also unto thee, O Lord, belongeth mercy: FOR thou renderest to every man according to his work. PSALM 63 1 O GOD, thou art my GOD; early will I seek thee: my soul thirsteth FOR thee, my flesh longeth FOR thee in a dry and thirsty land, where no water is; 10 They shall fall by the sword: they shall be a portion FOR foxes. 11 But the king shall rejoice in GOD; every one that sweareth by him shall glory: but the mouth of them that speak lies shall be stopped. PSALM 64 1 Hear my voice, O GOD, in my prayer: preserve my life from fear of the enemy. 7 But GOD shall shoot at them with an arrow; suddenly shall they be wounded. 9 And all men shall fear, and shall declare the work of GOD; FOR they shall wisely consider of his doing. PSALM 65 1 Praise waiteth FOR thee, O GOD, in Sion: and unto thee shall the vow be performed. 3 Iniquities prevail against me: as FOR our transgressions, thou shalt purge them away. 5 By terrible things in righteousness wilt thou answer us, O GOD of our salvation; who art the confidence of all the ends of the earth, and of them that are afar off upon the sea: 9 Thou visitest the earth, and waterest it: thou greatly enrichest it with the river of GOD, which is full of water: thou preparest them corn, when thou hast so provided FOR it. 13 The pastures are clothed with flocks; the valleys also are covered over with corn; they shout FOR joy, they also sing. PSALM 66 1 Make a joyful noise unto GOD, all ye lands: 3 Say unto GOD, How terrible art thou in thy works! through the greatness of thy power shall thine enemies submit themselves unto thee. 5 Come and see the works of GOD: he is terrible in his doing toward the children of men. 7 He ruleth by his power FOR ever; his eyes behold the nations: let not the rebellious exalt themselves. Selah. 8 O bless our GOD, ye people, and make the voice of his praise to be heard: 10 FOR thou, O GOD, hast proved us: thou hast tried us, as silver is tried. 16 Come and hear, all ye that fear GOD, and I will declare what he hath done FOR my soul. 19 But verily GOD hath heard me; he hath attended to the voice of my prayer. 20 Blessed be GOD, which hath not turned away my prayer, nor his mercy from me. --MORE-- |
