19 And he said unto them, What things? And they said unto him, Concerning Jesus of Nazareth, which was a prophet mighty in deed and word before GOD and all the people:
29 But they constrained him, saying, Abide with us: FOR it is toward evening, and the day is far spent. And he went in to tarry with them.

JOHN 1
1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with GOD, and the Word was GOD.
2 The same was in the beginning with GOD.
6 There was a man sent from GOD, whose name was John.
7 The same came FOR a witness, to bear witness of the Light, that all men through him might believe.
12 But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of GOD, even to them that believe on his name:
13 Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of GOD.
15 John bare witness of him, and cried, saying, This was he of whom I spake, He that cometh after me is preferred before me: FOR he was before me.
16 And of his fulness have all we received, and grace FOR grace.
17 FOR the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ.

JOHN 3
2 The same came to Jesus by night, and said unto him, Rabbi, we know that thou art a teacher come from GOD: FOR no man can do these miracles that thou doest, except GOD be with him.
3 Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of GOD.
5 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of GOD.

JOHN 4

9 Then saith the woman of Samaria unto him, How is it that thou, being a Jew, askest drink of me, which am a woman of Samaria? FOR the Jews have no dealings with the Samaritans.
10 Jesus answered and said unto her, If thou knewest the gift of GOD, and who it is that saith to thee, Give me to drink; thou wouldest have asked of him, and he would have given thee living water.
18 FOR thou hast had five husbands; and he whom thou now hast is not thy husband: in that saidst thou truly.
22 Ye worship ye know not what: we know what we worship: FOR salvation is of the Jews.
23 But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: FOR the Father seeketh such to worship him.
24 GOD is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.
35 Say not ye, There are yet four months, and then cometh harvest? behold, I say unto you, Lift up your eyes, and look on the fields; FOR they are white already to harvest.
39 And many of the Samaritans of that city believed on him FOR the saying of the woman, which testified, He told me all that ever I did.
42 And said unto the woman, Now we believe, not because of thy saying: FOR we have heard him ourselves, and know that this is indeed the Christ, the Saviour of the world.

JOHN 5
3 In these lay a great multitude of impotent folk, of blind, halt, withered, waiting FOR the moving of the water.
4 FOR an angel went down at a certain season into the pool, and troubled the water: whosoever then first after the troubling of the water stepped in was made whole of whatsoever disease he had.
10 The Jews therefore said unto him that was cured, It is the sabbath day: it is not lawful FOR thee to carry thy bed.
13 And he that was healed wist not who it was: FOR Jesus had conveyed himself away, a multitude being in that place.
18 Therefore the Jews sought the more to kill him, because he not only had broken the sabbath, but said also that GOD was his Father, making himself equal with GOD.
19 Then answered Jesus and said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, The Son can do nothing of himself, but what he seeth the Father do: FOR what things soever he doeth, these also doeth the Son likewise.
20 FOR the Father loveth the Son, and sheweth him all things that himself doeth: and he will shew him greater works than these, that ye may marvel.
21 FOR as the Father raiseth up the dead, and quickeneth them; even so the Son quickeneth whom he will.
22 FOR the Father judgeth no man, but hath committed all judgment unto the Son:
25 Verily, verily, I say unto you, The hour is coming, and now is, when the dead shall hear the voice of the Son of GOD: and they that hear shall live.
26 FOR as the Father hath life in himself; so hath he given to the Son to have life in himself;
28 Marvel not at this: FOR the hour is coming, in the which all that are in the graves shall hear his voice,
35 He was a burning and a shining light: and ye were willing FOR a season to rejoice in his light.
36 But I have greater witness than that of John: FOR the works which the Father hath given me to finish, the same works that I do, bear witness of me, that the Father hath sent me.
38 And ye have not his word abiding in you: FOR whom he hath sent, him ye believe not.
39 Search the scriptures; FOR in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me.
42 But I know you, that ye have not the love of GOD in you.
44 How can ye believe, which receive honour one of another, and seek not the honour that cometh from GOD only?
46 FOR had ye believed Moses, ye would have believed me; FOR he wrote of me.
