NUMBERS 26 1 And it came to pass after the plague, that the LORD spake unto Moses and unto Eleazar the son of AARON the priest, saying, 9 And the sons of Eliab; Nemuel, and Dathan, and Abiram. This is that Dathan and Abiram, which were famous in the congregation, who strove against Moses and against AARON in the company of Korah, when they strove against the LORD: 59 And the name of Amram's wife was Jochebed, the daughter of Levi, whom her mother bare to Levi in Egypt: and she bare unto Amram AARON and Moses, and Miriam their sister. 60 And unto AARON was born Nadab, and Abihu, Eleazar, and Ithamar. 64 But among these there was not a man of them whom Moses and AARON the priest numbered, when they numbered the children of Israel in the wilderness of Sinai. NUMBERS 27 13 And when thou hast seen it, thou also shalt be gathered unto thy people, as AARON thy brother was gathered. NUMBERS 31 15 And Moses said unto them, Have ye saved all the women ALIVE? 18 But all the women children, that have not known a man by lying with him, keep ALIVE for yourselves. NUMBERS 33 1 These are the journeys of the children of Israel, which went forth out of the land of Egypt with their armies under the hand of Moses and AARON. 38 And AARON the priest went up into mount Hor at the commandment of the LORD, and died there, in the fortieth year after the children of Israel were come out of the land of Egypt, in the first day of the fifth month. 39 And AARON was an hundred and twenty and three years old when he died in mount Hor. DEUTERONOMY 4 4 But ye that did cleave unto the LORD your God are ALIVE every one of you this day. DEUTERONOMY 5 3 The LORD made not this covenant with our fathers, but with us, even us, who are all of us here ALIVE this day. DEUTERONOMY 6 24 And the LORD commanded us to do all these statutes, to fear the LORD our God, for our good always, that he might preserve us ALIVE, as it is at this day. DEUTERONOMY 9 20 And the LORD was very angry with AARON to have destroyed him: and I prayed for AARON also the same time. DEUTERONOMY 10 6 And the children of Israel took their journey from Beeroth of the children of Jaakan to Mosera: there AARON died, and there he was buried; and Eleazar his son ministered in the priest's office in his stead. DEUTERONOMY 20 16 But of the cities of these people, which the LORD thy God doth give thee for an inheritance, thou shalt save ALIVE nothing that breatheth: DEUTERONOMY 31 27 For I know thy rebellion, and thy stiff neck: behold, while I am yet ALIVE with you this day, ye have been rebellious against the LORD; and how much more after my death? DEUTERONOMY 32 39 See now that I, even I, am he, and there is no god with me: I kill, and I make ALIVE; I wound, and I heal: neither is there any that can deliver out of my hand. 50 And die in the mount whither thou goest up, and be gathered unto thy people; as AARON thy brother died in mount Hor, and was gathered unto his people: DEUTERONOMY 33 11 Bless, LORD, his substance, and ACCEPT the work of his hands; smite through the loins of them that rise against him, and of them that hate him, that they rise not again. JOSHUA 2 13 And that ye will save ALIVE my father, and my mother, and my brethren, and my sisters, and all that they have, and deliver our lives from death. JOSHUA 6 25 And Joshua saved Rahab the harlot ALIVE, and her father's household, and all that she had; and she dwelleth in Israel even unto this day; because she hid the messengers, which Joshua sent to spy out Jericho. JOSHUA 7 1 But the children of Israel committed a trespass in the accursed thing: for ACHAN, the son of Carmi, the son of Zabdi, the son of Zerah, of the tribe of Judah, took of the accursed thing: and the anger of the LORD was kindled against the children of Israel. 18 And he brought his household man by man; and ACHAN, the son of Carmi, the son of Zabdi, the son of Zerah, of the tribe of Judah, was taken. 19 And Joshua said unto ACHAN, My son, give, I pray thee, glory to the LORD God of Israel, and make confession unto him; and tell me now what thou hast done; hide it not from me. 20 And ACHAN answered Joshua, and said, Indeed I have sinned against the LORD God of Israel, and thus and thus have I done: 24 And Joshua, and all Israel with him, took ACHAN the son of Zerah, and the silver, and the garment, and the wedge of gold, and his sons, and his daughters, and his oxen, and his asses, and his sheep, and his tent, and all that he had: and they brought them unto the valley of Achor. JOSHUA 8 23 And the king of Ai they took ALIVE, and brought him to Joshua. JOSHUA 14 10 And now, behold, the LORD hath kept me ALIVE, as he said, these forty and five years, even since the LORD spake this word unto Moses, while the children of Israel wandered in the wilderness: and now, lo, I am this day fourscore and five years old. JOSHUA 21 4 And the lot came out for the families of the Kohathites: and the children of AARON the priest, which were of the Levites, had by lot out of the tribe of Judah, and out of the tribe of Simeon, and out of the tribe of Benjamin, thirteen cities. 10 Which the children of AARON, being of the families of the Kohathites, who were of the children of Levi, had: for theirs was the first lot. 13 Thus they gave to the children of AARON the priest Hebron with her suburbs, to be a city of refuge for the slayer; and Libnah with her suburbs, 19 All the cities of the children of AARON, the priests, were thirteen cities with their suburbs. JOSHUA 22 20 Did not ACHAN the son of Zerah commit a trespass in the accursed thing, and wrath fell on all the congregation of Israel? and that man perished not alone in his iniquity. JOSHUA 24 5 I sent Moses also and AARON, and I plagued Egypt, according to that which I did among them: and afterward I brought you out. 33 And Eleazar the son of AARON died; and they buried him in a hill that pertained to Phinehas his son, which was given him in mount Ephraim. JUDGES 8 19 And he said, They were my brethren, even the sons of my mother: as the LORD liveth, if ye had saved them ALIVE, I would not slay you. JUDGES 20 28 And Phinehas, the son of Eleazar, the son of AARON, stood before it in those days,) saying, Shall I yet again go out to battle against the children of Benjamin my brother, or shall I cease? And the LORD said, Go up; for to morrow I will deliver them into thine hand. JUDGES 21 14 And Benjamin came again at that time; and they gave them wives which they had saved ALIVE of the women of Jabeshgilead: and yet so they sufficed them not. 1 SAMUEL 2 6 The LORD killeth, and maketh ALIVE: he bringeth down to the grave, and bringeth up. 1 SAMUEL 8 2 Now the name of his firstborn was Joel; and the name of his second, ABIAH: they were judges in Beersheba. 1 SAMUEL 12 6 And Samuel said unto the people, It is the LORD that advanced Moses and AARON, and that brought your fathers up out of the land of Egypt. 8 When Jacob was come into Egypt, and your fathers cried unto the LORD, then the LORD sent Moses and AARON, which brought forth your fathers out of Egypt, and made them dwell in this place. 1 SAMUEL 15 8 And he took Agag the king of the Amalekites ALIVE, and utterly destroyed all the people with the edge of the sword. 1 SAMUEL 26 19 Now therefore, I pray thee, let my lord the king hear the words of his servant. If the LORD have stirred thee up against me, let him ACCEPT an offering: but if they be the children of men, cursed be they before the LORD; for they have driven me out this day from abiding in the inheritance of the LORD, saying, Go, serve other gods. 1 SAMUEL 27 9 And David smote the land, and left neither man nor woman ALIVE, and took away the sheep, and the oxen, and the asses, and the camels, and the apparel, and returned, and came to Achish. 11 And David saved neither man nor woman ALIVE, to bring tidings to Gath, saying, Lest they should tell on us, saying, So did David, and so will be his manner all the while he dwelleth in the country of the Philistines. 2 SAMUEL 8 2 And he smote Moab, and measured them with a line, casting them down to the ground; even with two lines measured he to put to death, and with one full line to keep ALIVE. And so the Moabites became David's servants, and brought gifts. 2 SAMUEL 12 18 And it came to pass on the seventh day, that the child died. And the servants of David feared to tell him that the child was dead: for they said, Behold, while the child was yet ALIVE, we spake unto him, and he would not hearken unto our voice: how will he then vex himself, if we tell him that the child is dead? 21 Then said his servants unto him, What thing is this that thou hast done? thou didst fast and weep for the child, while it was ALIVE; but when the child was dead, thou didst rise and eat bread. 22 And he said, While the child was yet ALIVE, I fasted and wept: for I said, Who can tell whether GOD will be gracious to me, that the child may live? --MORE-- |
