DANIEL 7 9 I beheld till the thrones were cast down, and the Ancient of days did sit, whose garment was white as snow, and the hair of his head like the pure wool: his throne was like the fiery flame, and his wheels as burning FIRE. DANIEL 10 6 His body also was like the beryl, and his face as the appearance of lightning, and his eyes as lamps of FIRE, and his arms and his feet like in colour to polished brass, and the voice of his words like the voice of a multitude. DANIEL 11 10 But his sons shall be stirred up, and shall assemble a multitude of great FORCES: and one shall certainly come, and overflow, and pass through: then shall he return, and be stirred up, even to his fortress. 13 For the king of the north shall return, and shall set forth a multitude greater than the FORMER, and shall certainly come after certain years with a great army and with much riches. 29 At the time appointed he shall return, and come toward the south; but it shall not be as the FORMER, or as the latter. 38 But in his estate shall he honour the God of FORCES: and a god whom his fathers knew not shall he honour with gold, and silver, and with precious stones, and pleasant things. HOSEA 6 3 Then shall we know, if we follow on to know the LORD: his going forth is prepared as the morning; and he shall come unto us as the rain, as the latter and FORMER rain unto the earth. HOSEA 7 6 For they have made ready their heart like an oven, whiles they lie in wait: their baker sleepeth all the night; in the morning it burneth as a flaming FIRE. NAHUM 1 6 Who can stand before his indignation? and who can abide in the fierceness of his anger? his fury is poured out like FIRE, and the rocks are thrown down by him. NAHUM 2 8 But Nineveh is of old like a pool of water: yet they shall FLEE away. Stand, stand, shall they cry; but none shall look back. NAHUM 3 7 And it shall come to pass, that all they that look upon thee shall FLEE from thee, and say, Nineveh is laid waste: who will bemoan her? whence shall I seek comforters for thee? 13 Behold, thy people in the midst of thee are women: the gates of thy land shall be set wide open unto thine enemies: the FIRE shall devour thy bars. 15 There shall the FIRE devour thee; the sword shall cut thee off, it shall eat thee up like the cankerworm: make thyself many as the cankerworm, make thyself many as the locusts. 17 Thy crowned are as the locusts, and thy captains as the great grasshoppers, which camp in the hedges in the cold day, but when the sun ariseth they FLEE away, and their place is not known where they are. HABAKKUK 2 13 Behold, is it not of the LORD of hosts that the people shall labour in the very FIRE, and the people shall weary themselves for very vanity? ZEPHANIAH 1 18 Neither their silver nor their gold shall be able to deliver them in the day of the LORD's wrath; but the whole land shall be devoured by the FIRE of his jealousy: for he shall make even a speedy riddance of all them that dwell in the land. ZEPHANIAH 3 8 Therefore wait ye upon me, saith the LORD, until the day that I rise up to the prey: for my determination is to gather the nations, that I may assemble the kingdoms, to pour upon them mine indignation, even all my fierce anger: for all the earth shall be devoured with the FIRE of my jealousy. HAGGAI 2 9 The glory of this latter house shall be greater than of the FORMER, saith the LORD of hosts: and in this place will I give peace, saith the LORD of hosts. ZECHARIAH 1 4 Be ye not as your fathers, unto whom the FORMER prophets have cried, saying, Thus saith the LORD of hosts; Turn ye now from your evil ways, and from your evil doings: but they did not hear, nor hearken unto me, saith the LORD. ZECHARIAH 2 5 For I, saith the LORD, will be unto her a wall of FIRE round about, and will be the glory in the midst of her. 6 Ho, ho, come forth, and FLEE from the land of the north, saith the LORD: for I have spread you abroad as the four winds of the heaven, saith the LORD. ZECHARIAH 3 2 And the LORD said unto Satan, The LORD rebuke thee, O Satan; even the LORD that hath chosen Jerusalem rebuke thee: is not this a brand plucked out of the FIRE? ZECHARIAH 7 7 Should ye not hear the words which the LORD hath cried by the FORMER prophets, when Jerusalem was inhabited and in prosperity, and the cities thereof round about her, when men inhabited the south and the plain? 12 Yea, they made their hearts as an adamant stone, lest they should hear the law, and the words which the LORD of hosts hath sent in his spirit by the FORMER prophets: therefore came a great wrath from the LORD of hosts. ZECHARIAH 8 11 But now I will not be unto the residue of this people as in the FORMER days, saith the LORD of hosts. --MORE-- |
