NAHUM 2 8 But Nineveh is of old like a pool of water: yet they shall FLEE away. Stand, stand, shall they cry; but none shall look back. NAHUM 3 7 And it shall come to pass, that all they that look upon thee shall FLEE from thee, and say, Nineveh is laid waste: who will bemoan her? whence shall I seek comforters for thee? 13 Behold, thy people in the midst of thee are women: the gates of thy land shall be set wide open unto thine enemies: the FIRE shall devour thy bars. 15 There shall the FIRE devour thee; the sword shall cut thee off, it shall eat thee up like the cankerworm: make thyself many as the cankerworm, make thyself many as the locusts. 17 Thy crowned are as the locusts, and thy captains as the great grasshoppers, which camp in the hedges in the cold day, but when the sun ariseth they FLEE away, and their place is not known where they are. HABAKKUK 2 13 Behold, is it not of the LORD of hosts that the people shall labour in the very FIRE, and the people shall weary themselves for very vanity? ZECHARIAH 7 7 Should ye not hear the words which the LORD hath cried by the FORMER prophets, when Jerusalem was inhabited and in prosperity, and the cities thereof round about her, when men inhabited the south and the plain? 12 Yea, they made their hearts as an adamant stone, lest they should hear the law, and the words which the LORD of hosts hath sent in his spirit by the FORMER prophets: therefore came a great wrath from the LORD of hosts. ZECHARIAH 8 11 But now I will not be unto the residue of this people as in the FORMER days, saith the LORD of hosts. ZECHARIAH 9 4 Behold, the LORD will cast her out, and he will smite her power in the sea; and she shall be devoured with FIRE. ZECHARIAH 11 1 Open thy doors, O Lebanon, that the FIRE may devour thy cedars. ZECHARIAH 12 6 In that day will I make the governors of Judah like an hearth of FIRE among the wood, and like a torch of FIRE in a sheaf; and they shall devour all the people round about, on the right hand and on the left: and Jerusalem shall be inhabited again in her own place, even in Jerusalem. MALACHI 1 10 Who is there even among you that would shut the doors for nought? neither do ye kindle FIRE on mine altar for nought. I have no pleasure in you, saith the LORD of hosts, neither will I accept an offering at your hand.
