DEUTERONOMY 32 10 He found him in a desert land, and in the waste howling wilderness; he led him about, he instructed him, he kept him as the APPLE of his eye. 39 See now that I, even I, AM he, and there is no god with me: I kill, and I make alive; I wound, and I heal: neither is there any that can deliver out of my hand. JOSHUA 5 14 And he said, Nay; but as captain of the host of the LORD AM I now come. And Joshua fell on his face to the earth, and did worship, and said unto him, What saith my Lord unto his servant? JOSHUA 14 10 And now, behold, the LORD hath kept me alive, as he said, these forty and five years, even since the LORD spake this word unto Moses, while the children of Israel wandered in the wilderness: and now, lo, I AM this day fourscore and five years old. 11 As yet I AM as strong this day as I was in the day that Moses sent me: as my strength was then, even so is my strength now, for war, both to go out, and to come in. And when they enquired and asked, they said, Gideon the son of Joash hath done this thing. 37 Behold, I will put a FLEECE of wool in the floor; and if the dew be on the FLEECE only, and it be dry upon all the earth beside, then shall I know that thou wilt save Israel by mine hand, as thou hast said. 38 And it was so: for he rose up early on the morrow, and thrust the FLEECE together, and wringed the dew out of the FLEECE, a bowl full of water. 39 And Gideon said unto God, Let not thine anger be hot against me, and I will speak but this once: let me prove, I pray thee, but this once with the FLEECE; let it now be dry only upon the FLEECE, and upon all the ground let there be dew. 40 And God did so that night: for it was dry upon the FLEECE only, and there was dew on all the ground. JUDGES 8 5 And he said unto the men of Succoth, Give, I pray you, loaves of bread unto the people that follow me; for they be faint, and I AM pursuing after Zebah and Zalmunna, kings of Midian.
