MATTHEW 24 45 Who then is a faithful and WISE servant, whom his lord hath made ruler over his household, to give them meat in due season? ROMANS 13 3 For rulers are not a terror to good works, but to the evil. Wilt thou then not be AFRAID of the power? do that which is good, and thou shalt have praise of the same: 4 For he is the minister of God to thee for good. But if thou do that which is evil, be AFRAID; for he beareth not the sword in vain: for he is the minister of God, a revenger to execute wrath upon him that doeth evil. ROMANS 16 19 For your obedience is come abroad unto all men. I am glad therefore on your behalf: but yet I would have you WISE unto that which is good, and simple concerning evil. 27 To God only WISE, be glory through Jesus Christ for ever. Amen. 1 CORINTHIANS 1 19 For it is written, I will destroy the wisdom of the WISE, and will bring to nothing the understanding of the prudent. 20 Where is the WISE? where is the scribe? where is the disputer of this world? hath not God made foolish the wisdom of this world? 26 For ye see your calling, brethren, how that not many WISE men after the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble, are called: 27 But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the WISE; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty; --MORE-- |
