EZEKIEL 34 28 And they shall no more be a prey to the heathen, neither shall the beast of the land devour them; but they shall dwell safely, and none shall make them AFRAID. EZEKIEL 38 6 Gomer, and all his bands; the house of Togarmah of the NORTH quarters, and all his bands: and many people with thee. 15 And thou shalt come from thy place out of the NORTH parts, thou, and many people with thee, all of them riding upon horses, a great company, and a mighty army: EZEKIEL 39 2 And I will turn thee back, and leave but the sixth part of thee, and will cause thee to come up from the NORTH parts, and will bring thee upon the mountains of Israel: 26 After that they have borne their shame, and all their trespasses whereby they have trespassed against me, when they dwelt safely in their land, and none made them AFRAID. EZEKIEL 40 20 And the gate of the outward court that looked toward the NORTH, he measured the length thereof, and the breadth thereof. 23 And the gate of the inner court was over against the gate toward the NORTH, and toward the east; and he measured from gate to gate an hundred cubits. 35 And he brought me to the NORTH gate, and measured it according to these measures; 40 And at the side without, as one goeth up to the entry of the NORTH gate, were two tables; and on the other side, which was at the porch of the gate, were two tables. 44 And without the inner gate were the chambers of the singers in the inner court, which was at the side of the NORTH gate; and their prospect was toward the south: one at the side of the east gate having the prospect toward the NORTH. 46 And the chamber whose prospect is toward the NORTH is for the priests, the keepers of the charge of the altar: these are the sons of Zadok among the sons of Levi, which come near to the LORD to minister unto him. EZEKIEL 41 11 And the doors of the side chambers were toward the place that was left, one door toward the NORTH, and another door toward the south: and the breadth of the place that was left was five cubits round about. EZEKIEL 42 1 Then he brought me forth into the utter court, the way toward the NORTH: and he brought me into the chamber that was over against the separate place, and which was before the building toward the NORTH. 2 Before the length of an hundred cubits was the NORTH door, and the breadth was fifty cubits. 4 And before the chambers was a walk to ten cubits breadth inward, a way of one cubit; and their doors toward the NORTH. 11 And the way before them was like the appearance of the chambers which were toward the NORTH, as long as they, and as broad as they: and all their goings out were both according to their fashions, and according to their doors. 13 Then said he unto me, The NORTH chambers and the south chambers, which are before the separate place, they be holy chambers, where the priests that approach unto the LORD shall eat the most holy things: there shall they lay the most holy things, and the meat offering, and the sin offering, and the trespass offering; for the place is holy. 17 He measured the NORTH side, five hundred reeds, with the measuring reed round about. EZEKIEL 44 4 Then brought he me the way of the NORTH gate before the house: and I looked, and, behold, the glory of the LORD filled the house of the LORD: and I fell upon my face. EZEKIEL 46 9 But when the people of the land shall come before the LORD in the solemn feasts, he that entereth in by the way of the NORTH gate to worship shall go out by the way of the south gate; and he that entereth by the way of the south gate shall go forth by the way of the NORTH gate: he shall not return by the way of the gate whereby he came in, but shall go forth over against it. 19 After he brought me through the entry, which was at the side of the gate, into the holy chambers of the priests, which looked toward the NORTH: and, behold, there was a place on the two sides westward. EZEKIEL 47 15 And this shall be the border of the land toward the NORTH side, from the great sea, the way of Hethlon, as men go to Zedad; 17 And the border from the sea shall be Hazarenan, the border of Damascus, and the NORTH northward, and the border of Hamath. And this is the NORTH side. EZEKIEL 48 1 Now these are the names of the tribes. From the NORTH end to the coast of the way of Hethlon, as one goeth to Hamath, Hazarenan, the border of Damascus northward, to the coast of Hamath; for these are his sides east and west; a portion for Dan. 10 And for them, even for the priests, shall be this holy oblation; toward the NORTH five and twenty thousand in length, and toward the west ten thousand in breadth, and toward the east ten thousand in breadth, and toward the south five and twenty thousand in length: and the sanctuary of the LORD shall be in the midst thereof. 16 And these shall be the measures thereof; the NORTH side four thousand and five hundred, and the south side four thousand and five hundred, and on the east side four thousand and five hundred, and the west side four thousand and five hundred. 17 And the suburbs of the city shall be toward the NORTH two hundred and fifty, and toward the south two hundred and fifty, and toward the east two hundred and fifty, and toward the west two hundred and fifty. 30 And these are the goings out of the city on the NORTH side, four thousand and five hundred measures. DANIEL 4 5 I saw a dream which made me AFRAID, and the thoughts upon my bed and the visions of my head troubled me. DANIEL 8 17 So he came near where I stood: and when he came, I was AFRAID, and fell upon my face: but he said unto me, Understand, O son of man: for at the time of the end shall be the vision. DANIEL 11 6 And in the end of years they shall join themselves together; for the king's daughter of the south shall come to the king of the NORTH to make an agreement: but she shall not retain the power of the arm; neither shall he stand, nor his arm: but she shall be given up, and they that brought her, and he that begat her, and he that strengthened her in these times. 7 But out of a branch of her roots shall one stand up in his estate, which shall come with an army, and shall enter into the fortress of the king of the NORTH, and shall deal against them, and shall prevail: 8 And shall also carry captives into Egypt their gods, with their princes, and with their precious vessels of silver and of gold; and he shall continue more years than the king of the NORTH. 11 And the king of the south shall be moved with choler, and shall come forth and fight with him, even with the king of the NORTH: and he shall set forth a great multitude; but the multitude shall be given into his hand. 13 For the king of the NORTH shall return, and shall set forth a multitude greater than the former, and shall certainly come after certain years with a great army and with much riches. 15 So the king of the NORTH shall come, and cast up a mount, and take the most fenced cities: and the arms of the south shall not withstand, neither his chosen people, neither shall there be any strength to withstand. 40 And at the time of the end shall the king of the south push at him: and the king of the NORTH shall come against him like a whirlwind, with chariots, and with horsemen, and with many ships; and he shall enter into the countries, and shall overflow and pass over. 44 But tidings out of the east and out of the NORTH shall trouble him: therefore he shall go forth with great fury to destroy, and utterly to make away many. JOEL 2 22 Be not AFRAID, ye beasts of the field: for the pastures of the wilderness do spring, for the tree beareth her fruit, the fig tree and the vine do yield their strength. AMOS 3 6 Shall a trumpet be blown in the city, and the people not be AFRAID? shall there be evil in a city, and the LORD hath not done it? AMOS 8 12 And they shall wander from sea to sea, and from the NORTH even to the east, they shall run to and fro to seek the word of the LORD, and shall not find it. JONAH 1 5 Then the mariners were AFRAID, and cried every man unto his god, and cast forth the wares that were in the ship into the sea, to lighten it of them. But Jonah was gone down into the sides of the ship; and he lay, and was fast asleep. 10 Then were the men exceedingly AFRAID, and said unto him. Why hast thou done this? For the men knew that he fled from the presence of the LORD, because he had told them. MICAH 4 4 But they shall sit every man under his vine and under his fig tree; and none shall make them AFRAID: for the mouth of the LORD of hosts hath spoken it. MICAH 7 17 They shall lick the dust like a serpent, they shall move out of their holes like worms of the earth: they shall be AFRAID of the LORD our God, and shall fear because of thee. NAHUM 2 11 Where is the dwelling of the lions, and the feedingplace of the young lions, where the lion, even the old lion, walked, and the lion's whelp, and none made them AFRAID? HABAKKUK 2 17 For the violence of Lebanon shall cover thee, and the spoil of beasts, which made them AFRAID, because of men's blood, and for the violence of the land, of the city, and of all that dwell therein. HABAKKUK 3 2 O LORD, I have heard thy speech, and was AFRAID: O LORD, revive thy work in the midst of the years, in the midst of the years make known; in wrath remember mercy. ZEPHANIAH 2 13 And he will stretch out his hand against the NORTH, and destroy Assyria; and will make Nineveh a desolation, and dry like a wilderness. ZEPHANIAH 3 13 The remnant of Israel shall not do iniquity, nor speak lies; neither shall a deceitful tongue be found in their mouth: for they shall feed and lie down, and none shall make them AFRAID. --MORE-- |
