EZEKIEL 41 11 And the doors of the side chambers were toward the place that was left, one door toward the NORTH, and another door toward the south: and the breadth of the place that was left was five cubits round about. EZEKIEL 42 1 Then he brought me forth into the utter court, the way toward the NORTH: and he brought me into the chamber that was over against the separate place, and which was before the building toward the NORTH. 2 Before the length of an hundred cubits was the NORTH door, and the breadth was fifty cubits. 4 And before the chambers was a walk to ten cubits breadth inward, a way of one cubit; and their doors toward the NORTH. 11 And the way before them was like the appearance of the chambers which were toward the NORTH, as long as they, and as broad as they: and all their goings out were both according to their fashions, and according to their doors. 13 Then said he unto me, The NORTH chambers and the south chambers, which are before the separate place, they be holy chambers, where the priests that approach unto the LORD shall eat the most holy things: there shall they lay the most holy things, and the meat offering, and the sin offering, and the trespass offering; for the place is holy. 17 He measured the NORTH side, five hundred reeds, with the measuring reed round about. EZEKIEL 44 4 Then brought he me the way of the NORTH gate before the house: and I looked, and, behold, the glory of the LORD filled the house of the LORD: and I fell upon my face. EZEKIEL 46 9 But when the people of the land shall come before the LORD in the solemn feasts, he that entereth in by the way of the NORTH gate to worship shall go out by the way of the south gate; and he that entereth by the way of the south gate shall go forth by the way of the NORTH gate: he shall not return by the way of the gate whereby he came in, but shall go forth over against it. 19 After he brought me through the entry, which was at the side of the gate, into the holy chambers of the priests, which looked toward the NORTH: and, behold, there was a place on the two sides westward. EZEKIEL 47 15 And this shall be the border of the land toward the NORTH side, from the great sea, the way of Hethlon, as men go to Zedad; 17 And the border from the sea shall be Hazarenan, the border of Damascus, and the NORTH northward, and the border of Hamath. DANIEL 4 5 I saw a dream which made me AFRAID, and the thoughts upon my bed and the visions of my head troubled me. DANIEL 11 6 And in the end of years they shall join themselves together; for the king's daughter of the south shall come to the king of the NORTH to make an agreement: but she shall not retain the power of the arm; neither shall he stand, nor his arm: but she shall be given up, and they that brought her, and he that begat her, and he that strengthened her in these times. 7 But out of a branch of her roots shall one stand up in his estate, which shall come with an army, and shall enter into the fortress of the king of the NORTH, and shall deal against them, and shall prevail: 8 And shall also carry captives into Egypt their gods, with their princes, and with their precious vessels of silver and of gold; and he shall continue more years than the king of the NORTH. 11 And the king of the south shall be moved with choler, and shall come forth and fight with him, even with the king of the NORTH: and he shall set forth a great multitude; but the multitude shall be given into his hand. 13 For the king of the NORTH shall return, and shall set forth a multitude greater than the former, and shall certainly come after certain years with a great army and with much riches. 15 So the king of the NORTH shall come, and cast up a mount, and take the most fenced cities: and the arms of the south shall not withstand, neither his chosen people, neither shall there be any strength to withstand. 40 And at the time of the end shall the king of the south push at him: and the king of the NORTH shall come against him like a whirlwind, with chariots, and with horsemen, and with many ships; and he shall enter into the countries, and shall overflow and pass over. 44 But tidings out of the east and out of the NORTH shall trouble him: therefore he shall go forth with great fury to destroy, and utterly to make away many. JOEL 2 22 Be not AFRAID, ye beasts of the field: for the pastures of the wilderness do spring, for the tree beareth her fruit, the fig tree and the vine do yield their strength.
