This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their righteousness is of me, SAITH the LORD. ISAIAH 55 8 For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, SAITH the LORD. ISAIAH 65 7 Your iniquities, and the iniquities of your fathers together, SAITH the LORD, which have burned incense upon the mountains, and blasphemed me upon the hills: therefore will I measure their former work into their bosom. 8 Thus SAITH the LORD, As the new wine is found in the cluster, and one SAITH, Destroy it not; for a blessing is in it: so will I do for my servants' sakes, that I may not destroy them all. 13 Therefore thus SAITH the Lord GOD, Behold, my servants shall eat, but ye shall be hungry: behold, my servants shall drink, but ye shall be thirsty: behold, my servants shall rejoice, but ye shall be ashamed: 25 The wolf and the lamb shall feed together, and the lion shall eat straw like the bullock: and dust shall be the serpent's meat. They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain, SAITH the LORD. ISAIAH 66 1 Thus SAITH the LORD, The heaven is my throne, and the earth is my footstool: where is the house that ye build unto me? and where is the place of my rest? 2 For all those things hath mine hand made, and all those things have been, SAITH the LORD: but to this man will I look, even to him that is poor and of a contrite spirit, and trembleth at my word. 9 Shall I bring to the birth, and not cause to bring forth? SAITH the LORD: shall I cause to bring forth, and shut the womb? SAITH thy God. 12 For thus SAITH the LORD, Behold, I will extend peace to her like a river, and the glory of the Gentiles like a flowing stream: then shall ye suck, ye shall be borne upon her sides, and be dandled upon her knees. 17 They that sanctify themselves, and purify themselves in the gardens behind one tree in the midst, eating swine's flesh, and the abomination, and the mouse, shall be consumed together, SAITH the LORD. 20 And they shall bring all your brethren for an offering unto the LORD out of all nations upon horses, and in chariots, and in litters, and upon mules, and upon swift beasts, to my holy mountain Jerusalem, SAITH the LORD, as the children of Israel bring an offering in a clean vessel into the house of the LORD. 21 And I will also take of them for priests and for Levites, SAITH the LORD. 22 For as the new heavens and the new earth, which I will make, shall remain before me, SAITH the LORD, so shall your seed and your name remain. 23 And it shall come to pass, that from one new moon to another, and from one sabbath to another, shall all flesh come to worship before me, SAITH the LORD. JEREMIAH 1 8 Be not AFRAID of their faces: for I am with thee to deliver thee, SAITH the LORD. 15 For, lo, I will call all the families of the kingdoms of the north, SAITH the LORD; and they shall come, and they shall set every one his throne at the entering of the gates of Jerusalem, and against all the walls thereof round about, and against all the cities of Judah. 19 And they shall fight against thee; but they shall not prevail against thee; for I am with thee, SAITH the LORD, to deliver thee. JEREMIAH 2 2 Go and cry in the ears of Jerusalem, saying, Thus SAITH the LORD; I remember thee, the kindness of thy youth, the love of thine espousals, when thou wentest after me in the wilderness, in a land that was not sown. 3 Israel was holiness unto the LORD, and the firstfruits of his increase: all that devour him shall offend; evil shall come upon them, SAITH the LORD. 5 Thus SAITH the LORD, What iniquity have your fathers found in me, that they are gone far from me, and have walked after vanity, and are become vain? 9 Wherefore I will yet plead with you, SAITH the LORD, and with your children's children will I plead. 12 Be astonished, O ye heavens, at this, and be horribly AFRAID, be ye very desolate, SAITH the LORD. 19 Thine own wickedness shall correct thee, and thy backslidings shall reprove thee: know therefore and see that it is an evil thing and bitter, that thou hast forsaken the LORD thy God, and that my fear is not in thee, SAITH the Lord GOD of hosts. 22 For though thou wash thee with nitre, and take thee much soap, yet thine iniquity is marked before me, SAITH the Lord GOD. 29 Wherefore will ye plead with me? ye all have transgressed against me, SAITH the LORD. JEREMIAH 3 1 They say, If a man put away his wife, and she go from him, and become another man's, shall he return unto her again? shall not that land be greatly polluted? but thou hast played the harlot with many lovers; yet return again to me, SAITH the LORD. 10 And yet for all this her treacherous sister Judah hath not turned unto me with her whole heart, but feignedly, SAITH the LORD. 12 Go and proclaim these words toward the north, and say, Return, thou backsliding Israel, SAITH the LORD; and I will not cause mine anger to fall upon you: for I am merciful, SAITH the LORD, and I will not keep anger for ever. 13 Only acknowledge thine iniquity, that thou hast transgressed against the LORD thy God, and hast scattered thy ways to the strangers under every green tree, and ye have not obeyed my voice, SAITH the LORD. 14 Turn, O backsliding children, SAITH the LORD; for I am married unto you: and I will take you one of a city, and two of a family, and I will bring you to Zion: 16 And it shall come to pass, when ye be multiplied and increased in the land, in those days, SAITH the LORD, they shall say no more, The ark of the covenant of the LORD: neither shall it come to mind: neither shall they remember it; neither shall they visit it; neither shall that be done any more. 20 Surely as a wife treacherously departeth from her husband, so have ye dealt treacherously with me, O house of Israel, SAITH the LORD. --MORE-- |
