EZEKIEL 20 3 Son of man, speak unto the elders of Israel, and say unto them, Thus SAITH the Lord GOD; Are ye come to enquire of me? As I live, SAITH the Lord GOD, I will not be enquired of by you. 5 And say unto them, Thus SAITH the Lord GOD; In the day when I chose Israel, and lifted up mine hand unto the seed of the house of Jacob, and made myself known unto them in the land of Egypt, when I lifted up mine hand unto them, saying, I am the LORD your God; 27 Therefore, son of man, speak unto the house of Israel, and say unto them, Thus SAITH the Lord GOD; Yet in this your fathers have blasphemed me, in that they have committed a trespass against me. 30 Wherefore say unto the house of Israel, Thus SAITH the Lord GOD; Are ye polluted after the manner of your fathers? and commit ye whoredom after their abominations? 31 For when ye offer your gifts, when ye make your sons to pass through the fire, ye pollute yourselves with all your idols, even unto this day: and shall I be enquired of by you, O house of Israel? As I live, SAITH the Lord GOD, I will not be enquired of by you. 33 As I live, SAITH the Lord GOD, surely with a mighty hand, and with a stretched out arm, and with fury poured out, will I rule over you: 36 Like as I pleaded with your fathers in the wilderness of the land of Egypt, so will I plead with you, SAITH the Lord GOD. 39 As for you, O house of Israel, thus SAITH the Lord GOD; Go ye, serve ye every one his idols, and hereafter also, if ye will not hearken unto me: but pollute ye my holy name no more with your gifts, and with your idols. 40 For in mine holy mountain, in the mountain of the height of Israel, SAITH the Lord GOD, there shall all the house of Israel, all of them in the land, serve me: there will I accept them, and there will I require your offerings, and the firstfruits of your oblations, with all your holy things. 44 And ye shall know that I am the LORD when I have wrought with you for my name's sake, not according to your wicked ways, nor according to your corrupt doings, O ye house of Israel, SAITH the Lord GOD. 47 And say to the forest of the south, Hear the word of the LORD; Thus SAITH the Lord GOD; Behold, I will kindle a fire in thee, and it shall devour every green tree in thee, and every dry tree: the flaming flame shall not be quenched, and all faces from the south to the north shall be burned therein. EZEKIEL 21 3 And say to the land of Israel, Thus SAITH the LORD; Behold, I am against thee, and will draw forth my sword out of his sheath, and will cut off from thee the righteous and the wicked. 7 And it shall be, when they say unto thee, Wherefore sighest thou? that thou shalt answer, For the tidings; because it cometh: and every heart shall melt, and all hands shall be feeble, and every spirit shall faint, and all knees shall be weak as water: behold, it cometh, and shall be brought to pass, SAITH the Lord GOD. 9 Son of man, prophesy, and say, Thus SAITH the LORD; Say, A sword, a sword is sharpened, and also furbished: 13 Because it is a trial, and what if the sword contemn even the rod? it shall be no more, SAITH the Lord GOD. 24 Therefore thus SAITH the Lord GOD; Because ye have made your iniquity to be remembered, in that your transgressions are discovered, so that in all your doings your sins do appear; because, I say, that ye are come to remembrance, ye shall be taken with the hand. 26 Thus SAITH the Lord GOD; Remove the diadem, and take off the crown: this shall not be the same: exalt him that is low, and abase him that is high. 28 And thou, son of man, prophesy and say, Thus SAITH the Lord GOD concerning the Ammonites, and concerning their reproach; even say thou, The sword, the sword is drawn: for the slaughter it is furbished, to consume because of the glittering: EZEKIEL 22 3 Then say thou, Thus SAITH the Lord GOD, The city sheddeth blood in the midst of it, that her time may come, and maketh idols against herself to defile herself. 12 In thee have they taken gifts to shed blood; thou hast taken usury and increase, and thou hast greedily gained of thy neighbours by extortion, and hast forgotten me, SAITH the Lord GOD. 19 Therefore thus SAITH the Lord GOD; Because ye are all become dross, behold, therefore I will gather you into the midst of Jerusalem. 28 And her prophets have daubed them with untempered morter, seeing vanity, and divining lies unto them, saying, Thus SAITH the Lord GOD, when the LORD hath not spoken. 31 Therefore have I poured out mine indignation upon them; I have consumed them with the fire of my wrath: their own way have I recompensed upon their heads, SAITH the Lord GOD. EZEKIEL 23 22 Therefore, O Aholibah, thus SAITH the Lord GOD; Behold, I will raise up thy lovers against thee, from whom thy mind is alienated, and I will bring them against thee on every side; 28 For thus SAITH the Lord GOD; Behold, I will deliver thee into the hand of them whom thou hatest, into the hand of them from whom thy mind is alienated: 32 Thus SAITH the Lord GOD; Thou shalt drink of thy sister's cup deep and large: thou shalt be laughed to scorn and had in derision; it containeth much. 34 Thou shalt even drink it and suck it out, and thou shalt break the sherds thereof, and pluck off thine own breasts: for I have spoken it, SAITH the Lord GOD. 35 Therefore thus SAITH the Lord GOD; Because thou hast forgotten me, and cast me behind thy back, therefore bear thou also thy lewdness and thy whoredoms. 46 For thus SAITH the Lord GOD; I will bring up a company upon them, and will give them to be removed and spoiled. EZEKIEL 24 3 And utter a parable unto the rebellious house, and say unto them, Thus SAITH the Lord GOD; Set on a pot, set it on, and also pour water into it: 6 Wherefore thus SAITH the Lord GOD; Woe to the bloody city, to the pot whose scum is therein, and whose scum is not gone out of it! bring it out piece by piece; let no lot fall upon it. 9 Therefore thus SAITH the Lord GOD; Woe to the bloody city! I will even make the pile for fire great. 14 I the LORD have spoken it: it shall come to pass, and I will do it; I will not go back, neither will I spare, neither will I repent; according to thy ways, and according to thy doings, shall they judge thee, SAITH the Lord GOD. 21 Speak unto the house of Israel, Thus SAITH the Lord GOD; Behold, I will profane my sanctuary, the excellency of your strength, the desire of your eyes, and that which your soul pitieth; and your sons and your daughters whom ye have left shall fall by the sword. EZEKIEL 25 3 And say unto the Ammonites, Hear the word of the Lord GOD; Thus SAITH the Lord GOD; Because thou saidst, Aha, against my sanctuary, when it was profaned; and against the land of Israel, when it was desolate; and against the house of Judah, when they went into captivity; 6 For thus SAITH the Lord GOD; Because thou hast clapped thine hands, and stamped with the feet, and rejoiced in heart with all thy despite against the land of Israel; 8 Thus SAITH the Lord GOD; Because that Moab and Seir do say, Behold, the house of Judah is like unto all the heathen; 12 Thus SAITH the Lord GOD; Because that Edom hath dealt against the house of Judah by taking vengeance, and hath greatly offended, and revenged himself upon them; 13 Therefore thus SAITH the Lord GOD; I will also stretch out mine hand upon Edom, and will cut off man and beast from it; and I will make it desolate from Teman; and they of Dedan shall fall by the sword. 14 And I will lay my vengeance upon Edom by the hand of my people Israel: and they shall do in Edom according to mine anger and according to my fury; and they shall know my vengeance, SAITH the Lord GOD. 15 Thus SAITH the Lord GOD; Because the Philistines have dealt by revenge, and have taken vengeance with a despiteful heart, to destroy it for the old hatred; 16 Therefore thus SAITH the Lord GOD; Behold, I will stretch out mine hand upon the Philistines, and I will cut off the Cherethims, and destroy the remnant of the sea coast. EZEKIEL 26 3 Therefore thus SAITH the Lord GOD; Behold, I am against thee, O Tyrus, and will cause many nations to come up against thee, as the sea causeth his waves to come up. 5 It shall be a place for the spreading of nets in the midst of the sea: for I have spoken it, SAITH the Lord GOD: and it shall become a spoil to the nations. 7 For thus SAITH the Lord GOD; Behold, I will bring upon Tyrus Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon, a king of kings, from the north, with horses, and with chariots, and with horsemen, and companies, and much people. 14 And I will make thee like the top of a rock: thou shalt be a place to spread nets upon; thou shalt be built no more: for I the LORD have spoken it, SAITH the Lord GOD. 15 Thus SAITH the Lord GOD to Tyrus; Shall not the isles shake at the sound of thy fall, when the wounded cry, when the slaughter is made in the midst of thee? 19 For thus SAITH the Lord GOD; When I shall make thee a desolate city, like the cities that are not inhabited; when I shall bring up the deep upon thee, and great waters shall cover thee; 21 I will make thee a terror, and thou shalt be no more: though thou be sought for, yet shalt thou never be found again, SAITH the Lord GOD. EZEKIEL 27 3 And say unto Tyrus, O thou that art situate at the entry of the sea, which art a merchant of the people for many isles, Thus SAITH the Lord GOD; O Tyrus, thou hast said, I am of perfect beauty. 35 All the inhabitants of the isles shall be astonished at thee, and their kings shall be sore AFRAID, they shall be troubled in their countenance. --MORE-- |
